Bound by Betrayal: Sealed in Vows Chapter 2

Chapter 2: Marrying Her Is Like Marrying a Gold Mine

The Yu family, with a distinguished history and wielding significant power, was a force to be reckoned with.

Bo Zhengrong, the eldest son of the Bo family, wanted to climb higher, to reach the pinnacle of power, and he needed to win over anyone he could.

An arranged marriage was the best way.

Unfortunately, the Bo family had few eligible women. Either they were already married or too young.

Sang Tian, though not of the Bo family’s blood, held 5% of Bo Corporation shares left to her by Second Master Bo, more than the actual sons and daughters of the Bo family.

This 5% stake was no small sum. The annual dividends alone amounted to billions, not to mention the value of the 5% stake itself.

Marrying her was like marrying a gold mine.

Old Madam Bo couldn’t get the Bo Corporation shares back from her, so she could only try to use her to exchange for greater benefits.

She had thought the man on top of her didn’t know about this, but Old Madam Bo’s words on the phone just now clearly indicated that Bo Si knew, and he also knew the other party was Young Master Yu.

Even she herself had only guessed it from those few words.

Knowing that Young Master Yu was waiting for her at the old mansion, he still came to pick her up. Was he trying to sell her?

Her body was burning, but her heart was cold.

The man didn’t notice her change at all. Due to Old Madam Bo’s urging, he ended things hastily.

Kisses landed on her forehead, eyelashes, nose, and lips… like a soothing gesture, his actions were exceptionally gentle and tender, as if he loved her deeply.

Such a Bo Si was undoubtedly fatal to her.

At the age of four, she lost her mother and was taken back to the Bo family by Second Master Bo from a rented house.

At the age of ten, she lost her adoptive father. Old Madam Bo disliked her and ignored her, leaving her to fend for herself except for her daily meals. The servants were also discriminatory, never looking at her directly, and no one was willing to talk to her for a moment.

She lacked love, lacked care, was lonely and isolated, and was once depressed and withdrawn.

Then, he appeared.

It was New Year’s Eve, a time for family gatherings. She hid behind a tree adorned with red lanterns, watching the happy family in the living room through the glass door, her eyes filled with envy.

Her stomach grumbled unhappily. There was a whole table of delicious food in the living room, but she could only drool through the glass door. The servants were busy going home, but they forgot to prepare anything for her, not even a bowl of noodles.

She clutched her stomach and squatted in the snow. Suddenly, a hand reached out and handed her a piece of chocolate.

She looked up, a handsome face met her eyes, “Why don’t you come inside?”

She had seen this person once, at a family banquet in previous years. Her adoptive father had asked her to call him Uncle. But he was mostly abroad and rarely came back.

That was the first time she felt warmth after her adoptive father passed away.

Strong arms embraced her, pressing her against his hot chest, just like that night, he held her hand and entered the living room. Despite Old Madam Bo’s displeasure, he firmly kept her, picked food for her, and said she was also a member of the Bo family, a young lady of the Bo family, just as warm.

The sound of water splashing, Bo Si carried her into the bathroom, warm water poured down from her head, her fair shoulders were rubbed red by the man’s calloused hands. Sang Tian glared at him angrily, “What are you doing?! It hurts!”

“It’s good that you know it hurts. Do you dare to let others touch you again?”

Sang Tian knew he was referring to the male model massaging her. In fact, the male model hadn’t even touched her. His hand was just about to rest on her shoulder when the door was kicked open by him.

She was just checking the male models’ work at the bar. After all, those who came to her bar weren’t just men, but also many ladies and mistresses. Their ways of seeking pleasure were not much different from men’s. If you want them to be willing to spend money, a sweet mouth and the ability to coax are key.

Didn’t she have to test them? Looking at the man’s angry eyes, Sang Tian knew it was his damn possessiveness.

She raised her chin, her slender hand reached up to his shoulder, “Then are you still going to take me home to accompany Young Master Yu?”

“It’s Mother’s wish.”

Sang Tian: “…”

The man moved her hand away from his shoulder. Bo Si took a towel to dry her, carried her back to the room, and chose a white knee-length dress for her, with a black coat over it. Her hair was let down, covering her neck and shoulders.

Sang Tian was in a daze, not like she had just come out of the shower, but like she had just been fished out of an ice cave. Her mind was full of him taking her back to the old mansion to hand her over to Young Master Yu.

The car stopped outside the old mansion, the butler rushed out, “Fifth Master, Miss, Old Madam and Young Master Yu have been waiting in the living room for a long time!”

“Mm.” Bo Si straightened his cufflinks and strode forward, Sang Tian followed behind him in a daze.

When they were about to reach the entrance of the hall, she suddenly stepped forward and grabbed Bo Si’s sleeve, her eyes filled with pleading, “Uncle…”

Bo Si turned his head, looking puzzled. The butler was not far behind, fearing gossip, she quickly let go of his sleeve, “I don’t want to go…”

“Hurry up, everyone is waiting for you.” Bo Si’s voice was light, but it carried a command.

Sang Tian clenched her fist, looking at the man’s broad back that had already turned away, her heart ached.

Ever since he got her, he had become increasingly distant, especially in the old mansion, completely lacking the protection and indulgence he had shown her in the past.

Only in bed would he be extremely gentle.

Sang Tian took a deep breath, since this was what he wanted, Young Master Yu wasn’t bad either.

The Yu family, after all, was a family of high officials!

Who couldn’t live without whom?

He was engaged anyway!

In the living room, Old Madam Bo sat on the main seat, chatting with the young people below. Her moon-white silver-threaded embroidered peony cheongsam with a pearl necklace made her look radiant. Her white hair was dyed black and styled meticulously, not at all like a seventy-five-year-old woman.

Sang Tian was late, Old Madam Bo was clearly displeased, but Young Master Yu was there, so she didn’t show it. She smiled, “Tian Tian, this is Young Master Yu Feng, you two met when you were little, remember?”

Yu Feng had been stationed in the army for many years, his whole body exuded a righteous aura, making people feel a sense of awe.

Sang Tian’s original lazy and impatient expression changed reflexively when she saw him, wanting to stand at attention. Realizing how stupid she was, she coughed to cover it up, “Young Master Yu.”

“Don’t be so formal, just call me Yu Feng.” Yu Feng was handsome and upright, polite and courteous in his dealings with others, and his personality was straightforward, “The little crybaby from back then has become a stunning beauty!”

Sang Tian blinked, clearly forgetting. Yu Feng smiled, “Forgot? It was you who was crying and burying birds under the tree, I gave you a tissue.”

“It was you!” Sang Tian’s eyes widened, her favorability for Yu Feng soared.

Sang Tian’s personality was naturally generous and not fussy. They had met before, and they quickly warmed up to each other.

Old Madam Bo saw that the two of them got along well, and she was visibly happy. Only Bo Si, sitting on the side, had a terrifyingly gloomy expression.

“Yu Feng hasn’t been back to Jin City for many years. The winter plums on South Lake Mountain are blooming beautifully these days. Tian Tian, you take Yu Feng to have a good look tomorrow.” Old Madam Bo smiled kindly, “Tomorrow I’ll ask someone to calculate the date, and we’ll set the date for the engagement banquet. The marriage between our two families is settled.”

Yu Feng readily accepted, smiling and saying that everything was up to the elders.

Sang Tian twirled her fingers, secretly glancing at Bo Si sitting opposite her.

That face she had loved for over a decade was undoubtedly beautiful. 360 degrees without a dead angle, it was a masterpiece that even Nuwa would marvel at.

He leaned back in his chair, his fingers tapping the table unconsciously, his face showing no expression, nor did he speak to stop it.

Sang Tian pursed her lips, lowered her eyes, hiding the dimness in her eyes.

“I’ve already had a room prepared, next to Tian Tian’s.” Old Madam Bo’s attitude towards Yu Feng was extremely good, completely treating him like her own grandson, “Tian Tian, you take Yu Feng to the room later.”

“Yes.”

Everything seemed to be settled, and Sang Tian thought she could accept it, but it was wrong to just make a hasty decision about her life just to spite Bo Si.

Even if her future partner wasn’t Bo Si, she should still open her eyes and choose carefully.

She stood up, just about to speak, but Bo Si spoke first, “It’s good that the Yu and Bo families are getting married, but Sang Tian already has a boyfriend, wouldn’t it be a bit inappropriate to break them up?”
