Chapter 7: Not Done Playing Yet
Jiang Wantang’s bodyguard stood not far away, tall and slender, handsome and stylish.
In recent years, South Lake Mountain had been fully developed, there was no danger whatsoever.
Even for such a short distance, he reminded her to bring a bodyguard. It seemed he really liked her.
Sang Tian stood quietly in place, her calm exterior masking a turbulent heart.
Jiang Wantang was very obedient, she gave Bo Si a gentle smile, “Then I’ll go first.”
She waved to Sang Tian, “See you next time.”
Jiang Wantang was polite and considerate, her speech and mannerisms exuded the grace of a well-bred lady, but Sang Tian just didn’t like her. Even breathing the same air as her felt uncomfortable.
She had noticed earlier that Jiang Wantang was wearing a pair of delicate lambskin heeled shoes with a gauze skirt underneath. Such an outfit wouldn’t even make it halfway up the mountain. She was also very delicate, if she whined and said she couldn’t walk, Bo Si would have to give in.
She couldn’t accept that his broad back, besides carrying her, would also carry another woman.
It was as if something that belonged only to her had been snatched away.
She felt short of breath, she wanted to leave quickly, pretending to be impatient, “If you have something to say, just say it!”
The man acted as if he hadn’t heard, he took out his lighter, cupped the flame, took a long drag, and then looked at her.
His eyes were cold and lifeless, as if he was wrapped in a layer of frost, colder than the snow beneath their feet.
He just stared at her, until she felt her scalp tingling, before he slowly spoke, “I’ll pretend you didn’t say anything yesterday.”
Didn’t say anything?
What did he mean?
Silence stretched between them.
The cigarette in his fingers had burned halfway, the ash fell naturally, blown by the wind, the scarlet glow burned even brighter.
Through the smoke, Sang Tian looked directly into his eyes, still with that air of confidence, as if she would obediently listen to whatever he said.
Sang Tian snorted, her voice firm, “I said it, I said it.”
“Are you trying to pick a fight with me?” The man’s voice was already tinged with anger.
“Do I look like I’m trying to pick a fight with you?” Sang Tian didn’t back down.
Although she liked him, she had her principles.
She couldn’t share a man with another woman.
A chuckle escaped his lips, the cigarette was crushed between his fingers, as if it wasn’t fire, not hot at all, “Heh, good, you’ve grown wings, want to fly away from me?”
Sang Tian didn’t say anything, but her stubborn gaze said it all.
She thought that at this point, Bo Si, such an arrogant man, wouldn’t say anything more to her, but she heard him change the subject, lightly spitting out a sentence, “Yu Feng was transferred to the border this morning.”
Sang Tian was stunned.
Yu Feng had told her that his family was worried about him, and he was ready to transfer back this time. He had already submitted the materials, and the higher-ups had verbally approved it, all that was left was the process.
How could he suddenly be transferred to the border at this time?
The man’s slightly curled lips and raised eyebrows revealed the answer. Sang Tian’s mouth gaped open, her face full of disbelief.
But she quickly regained her composure. She had come today only to complete the task assigned by Old Madam Bo. Since the person had been transferred, she had also given Old Madam Bo an explanation, there was nothing wrong with that.
It was just a little unfair to Yu Feng, causing him to go back to the cold and desolate frontier to defend the country.
But…
Sang Tian looked at Bo Si, “Do you think that by transferring him to the border, I won’t have to get married? Old Madam likes Yu Feng, she won’t agree.”
“Besides, even if there’s no Yu Feng, there will be Zhang Feng, Li Feng, Wang Feng… anyway, you have a fiancĂ©e too, I’m going to get married eventually, the sooner the better!”
Bo Si listened to her cold words, wanting to distance herself from him. He stared at her face, still that alluring face, from childish to innocent, from delicate to alluring, he had watched her grow up, even the charm she possessed was something he had taught her. Now she wanted to get married?
His black hole-like eyes turned cold, as if he wanted to swallow everything that ignored him, “Who do you want to marry?!”
His voice was cold and heavy, no longer just anger.
Sang Tian had been with him since she was a child, so she naturally knew that he was truly angry.
In Jin City, no one dared to provoke Bo Si, because he didn’t follow the rules, he had no scruples, his methods were ruthless and left no room for survival. Even his brothers and sisters had to lower their heads in front of him.
Sang Tian’s heart sank, but thinking of his gentleness towards Jiang Wantang and his harsh words to her, she didn’t know where she got the courage, she roared, “It’s not you anyway!”
She was thrown into the car, her head hit the door, the pain made Sang Tian’s eyes sparkle. She covered her head, before she could react, Bo Si pressed down on her.
The car was already cramped, and suddenly there was a person on top of her, pressing down on her like Mount Tai, starting to tear at her clothes. Sang Tian felt short of breath and couldn’t breathe.
“Bo Si! What are you doing? Let me…”
“Ugh…”
Unlike every other kiss they had shared, this one was more like a wild beast’s bite, he didn’t even give her a chance to breathe, it was fierce and brutal.
Her coat was undone, if this continued, she was afraid she wouldn’t be able to hold her ground.
Her slender hands pushed against his strong, bulging chest, even through the thick wool coat, she could feel the rise and fall of his chest and the scorching heat radiating from him.
The air was thin, the car was filled with ambiguity. She used all her strength to resist, her palms were burning from his hot chest, her arms were weak, and he easily moved them away and pressed them above her head.
He knelt on both sides of her, leaned down and glared at her, his eyes, close at hand, held a ferocity she had never seen before,
“I’m not done playing yet, you want to get married? Dream on!”
Playing?
Was he just playing all this time?
Before she could figure it out, his rough hand reached inside her clothes. Sang Tian froze, completely stunned.
This was the wilderness, there were many tourists coming and going, their car was parked in the open space at the foot of the mountain. Although they couldn’t see inside the car from the outside, the car was shaking, even a pig would know what was happening inside.
And Jiang Wantang was still there, if she suddenly came back and discovered her relationship with Bo Si, once it blew up, the consequences would be unimaginable. Old Madam Bo wouldn’t spare her, let alone public opinion.
“Bo Si, don’t do this, don’t…” Sang Tian’s pupils dilated, the sourness in her heart was replaced by fear, her voice trembled, “What if Miss Jiang sees…”
But the man acted as if he hadn’t heard, he didn’t care, his lips pressed down from her neck, all the way down.
The sound of an engine came, a car stopped not far away. If this continued, she wouldn’t be able to show her face in public anymore, “Bo Si, I beg you, don’t do this here!”
“I beg you!” Her voice was choked, with a hint of crying.
The man finally stopped, leaning over her, staring at her.
Seeing her hair soaked with tears, he kindly wiped her tears, stroking her hair gently, as if comforting her, “Then let’s change places.”
His voice was low and hoarse.
Before she could answer, the man lingered on her lips and forehead, got into the driver’s seat and started the car.
Sang Tian straightened her disheveled clothes, sat up, and fixed her hair. The tension and fear in her heart hadn’t subsided yet, when she suddenly heard Bo Si ask, “What happened to the scar on your forehead?”
