Celibate Monk Prince? Then who’s the clingy little crybaby in her arms?
Chapter 10: Encounter with a Drunkard

Luo Yunyan followed her grandfather down the stairs, slipping her arm through his.
“Alright then, I’ll let you win next time.”

“Heh! This old man doesn’t need you letting me win! I lost because I misread the board and used the wrong strategy,” Grandpa Luo insisted, refusing to admit defeat.

“Yes, yes, it was just luck on my part,” Yunyan said with a smile.

Just as the two pushed open the study door, they saw Luo Yunzhe walking up toward them.
“Grandpa, Yunyan—lunch is ready.”

“Coming, big brother.”

Grandpa Luo gave Yunyan’s hand a pat.
“When you have time, bring that Jiang boy over to visit.”

“Sure. I also have a close friend named Jiang Yining—we’ve been together for years. She’s overseas right now, but I’ll bring her when she returns.”

“Hahaha, good, good. From now on, they’re all part of the Luo family.”

The grandfather and granddaughter walked ahead, laughing and chatting. Luo Yunzhe followed behind, the picture of solitude.

Luo Yunzhe (inner voice): Family flower never as fragrant as wildflowers. Blood grandson not as loved as wild “grandson,” huh?

After lunch, the reliable brothers had work to attend to and left.

The older generation either napped or went back to the office, leaving just the three younger siblings lounging in the living room.

Suddenly, Luo Yunxi sprang up from the couch like a dying man revived.
“How about we go out and have some fun?”

Yunyan and Yunyi glanced at him, then lowered their heads and continued doing their own things.

“Hey! What’s that look for? You two look down on your second brother now? I’m known as the ‘Little Tyrant of Jing City,’ okay?”

Luo Yunyi scoffed,
“And what’s so fun about going out with you? Should we play a game of counting how many cameras catch us from start to finish?”

“Tch, I can disguise myself, alright? And we can go somewhere indoors. How about Comet? Gu-ge’s place is private.”

He slapped his thigh as inspiration struck.

Luo Yunyi looked at his sister.
“If you go, I’ll go.”

Luo Yunxi clasped his hands in a dramatic pleading pose.
“Yanyan~ Second brother’s gonna rot indoors if he doesn’t go out soon. Please?”

Yunyan sighed and nodded.
“Alright, let’s go.”

“Yesss! Let’s move out!” Luo Yunxi happily linked arms with both siblings and led the charge.

He didn’t feel like driving, so they had a chauffeur drop them off.

At Comet

Luo Yunxi came wrapped in a mask, sunglasses, and scarf—mummified and sneaky-looking.

Luckily, the lobby manager was used to this level of dramatics and waved off the startled staff before they could call security.
“Second Young Master Luo, your usual suite?”

He gave a small nod.
“It’s just the three of us today. Do whatever, just no alcohol.”

The manager’s sharp eyes caught the two following him.
“Third Young Master and… Miss Luo, right? You all really do look alike. Don’t worry, I’ll get everything arranged.”

Luo Yunyi (internally): We’re fraternal twins, okay?! And she’s not even from the same pregnancy! How do we “look alike”?!

Yunyan, unfazed, simply nodded and entered the elevator.

Once in the private suite, Luo Yunxi grabbed the mic with a flourish.
“Yanyan, I bet you’ve never heard your second brother sing before! Let me serenade you!”

Luo Yunyi immediately started waving his arms in protest but was too late.

Luo Yunxi dove straight into a dramatic rendition of “Tibetan Plateau”—a song not even pros tackle lightly. And he was tone-deaf to begin with.

Yunyi silently handed Yunyan a twisted-up tissue strip.

The siblings exchanged a helpless glance and stuffed tissues into their ears in perfect synchronization.

When he finally finished and turned back around, they removed the tissues with synchronized precision.

“So, Yanyan? Not bad, huh?” he grinned expectantly.

Yunyan’s face twitched.
“Not bad. Let’s not do that again.”

“Why? You didn’t like it? How about some Jay Chou next time? ‘You said you remembered…’”

“Er, no, Second Brother. I’m just worried other guests might hear and get… disturbed by our joy,” she said quickly to stop him.

Luo Yunxi waved a hand dismissively.
“No worries. The soundproofing here is top-tier.”

Before she could respond, her phone rang. One glance at the contact, and she stood up.
“I’m stepping out for a call.”

As soon as she entered the hallway and picked up, her entire aura changed.

Gone was the soft-spoken daughter and sister. In her place stood a woman with sharp edges, exuding danger.

“What’s up?” Her voice was cold.

Whoever was on the line clearly said something irritating. Yunyan curled her lips in a mocking smile.
“News travels fast, huh? You monitoring me now?”

“…Busy these days. I’ll deal with it after the return banquet.”

“…No date set yet, but it’ll be soon.”

“…Fine. Your invitation won’t be forgotten. But if you’re smart, don’t show up.”

“…That’s enough. I’ll call you when it’s time.”

She hung up and turned back toward the suite.

As she passed one of the other rooms, the door suddenly opened—and a drunken man staggered out.

His shirt buttons were nearly bursting, and he swayed clumsily into the hallway.

He spotted Luo Yunyan and squinted. His eyes, which had been barely open, widened slightly.

“Well, hello there, little beauty~” he slurred. “Did your sugar daddy dump you? How about coming into big brother’s arms, hmm~?”
