Chapter 10
The embrace suddenly became empty, and the soft and warm feeling just now seemed like a dream.
The room was now dimly lit, but the blush on the girl’s face was still obvious, her eyes watery with a mix of shame and anger, her face full of accusation.
Their eyes met.
Well done.
This preemptive move was well-executed. Xie Yun suppressed the question he was about to ask,
He still sat in the chair, quietly closing his palm, the warm and soft touch seeming to linger, making him feel annoyed.
He denied indifferently, “Who pinched you?”
He still wouldn’t admit it?
Sang Yao lowered her gaze. That hand was fair and bony, but it had just been bold. She looked at the man’s handsome face, which was as cold as ever, completely unrelated to the word “vulgar.”
But Sang Yao had read his mind.
That was his true thoughts.
It was the first time she had been pinched on the butt, and now she was embarrassed and angry. Her buttocks were so numb from the awkwardness that she couldn’t believe he still wouldn’t admit it.
She pointed at Xie Yun’s right hand, stuttering, “It’s this hand, you… you intentionally didn’t move it away, right?”
Xie Yun: “……?”
He remained silent for a moment and said, “Your idea is novel, but just now you were the one who leaned into me.”
After a pause, he added, “And you didn’t give me a chance to avoid it.”
Xie Yun was also touching someone’s butt for the first time and was feeling annoyed. He looked at Sang Yao and turned the tables, “Was it intentional on your part?”
Sang Yao: “???”
“How could I… possibly do such a thing intentionally? I didn’t even know you were in the room, and why didn’t you speak just now?”
Xie Yun really didn’t expect that someone facing him directly wouldn’t see him. He stared into her eyes and said, “Firstly, I was here first.”
“You entered by climbing through the window, which is trespassing. And bumping into me is an attack.”
Sang Yao couldn’t understand.
What was this guy talking about? He pinched her butt, and he seemed to be justifying himself?
An attack?
“My method of attack is sitting on you?”
Xie Yun: “Of course, and it doesn’t rule out the possibility that you approached me on purpose.”
Sang Yao was so angry that she couldn’t speak.
She could only point at him and say, “You’re unreasonable! Why would I intentionally approach you?”
After a moment of contemplation, Xie Yun said, “That’s a question you should ask yourself. But from the result, it’s obvious that you succeeded.”
He almost wrote on his face that he thought Sang Yao was deliberately seducing him!
How shameless!
How could he be so good at pretending!
And saying that she deliberately approached him? Don’t think she didn’t know; this guy must be ecstatic inside.
Sang Yao was so angry that she couldn’t speak.
Xie Yun also pursed his lips, his expression impatient.
Sang Yao’s appearance was unexpected, and he didn’t like such surprises. Whether her appearance was deliberate or coincidental remained to be seen. This little apple girl seemed silly and innocent, but looks could be deceiving, and her true intentions were still unknown.
Moreover, she had a previous attempt to seduce him.
Xie Yun leaned back in his chair, about to end this meaningless conversation, when footsteps outside grew closer.
Accompanied by Jing Lian’s voice: “Your Highness, this way please.”
Sang Yao listened intently, pinching her palm. Her intuition told her that this “Your Highness” was either the Crown Prince or the Fifth Prince she had just encountered.
After all, this place was so remote; it seemed like it was either the Crown Prince or the Fifth Prince.
Sang Yao’s heart jumped to her throat. She anxiously looked around, but there was no place to hide, and they had already entered the room.
What should she do?
In her panic, Sang Yao met Xie Yun’s gaze.
Xie Yun, inexperienced in such matters, was also facing this strange situation for the first time.
In fact, he didn’t quite understand why she was panicking.
Sang Yao felt like her brain had never worked so fast. She looked around and finally fixed her gaze on the floor next to Xie Yun’s feet.
Lu Ting’s voice came before he appeared, “I was delayed on the way by some people who don’t know better, making Mr. Xie wait for a long time.”
Beside Xie Yun was a square table with a long tablecloth that reached the corners of the table, just enough to cover their bodies. It was the only thing in the room that could hide their figures.
Without much thought, Sang Yao quickly bowed and squatted beside Xie Yun’s feet, then lifted the tablecloth and slipped under it.
Jing Lian walked in front of Lu Ting, who stepped across the threshold and brought him in front of Xie Yun. However, something seemed off in the room.
He casually glanced around.
But the master didn’t seem like the type to close windows on his own initiative.
He withdrew his gaze and said, “Young Master, Your Highness is here.”
Lu Ting walked in and saw Xie Yun. His footsteps paused for a moment before he said, “Mr. Xie.”
Xie Yun showed no intention of getting up to greet him. He remained lounging
Leaning back in his chair, legs crossed, Xie Yun made a faint sound of agreement, then raised his hand and said, “Your Highness, please sit.”
Lu Ting’s gentle face showed a hint of coldness, but he smiled and sat down in front of Xie Yun.
“Mr. Xie does indeed have the demeanor of the Xie family’s elders.”
Xie Yun’s father had been the Prime Minister for several years and was highly respected in the court. The emperor had personally issued an edict that he did not need to bow when entering the court. Lu Ting’s words were undoubtedly mocking Xie Yun for not standing up to greet him.
Xie Yun remained composed and said calmly, “Not like Your Highness. Your Highness has been busy with state affairs recently. How come you have time to meet me today?”
