“What about you?”

Lin Senmu, who had never been in a relationship before, didn’t react immediately upon hearing this.

Jiang Yuan didn’t even want to talk to him anymore. She had mustered up the courage to call him, but Lin Senmu was as dense as a block of wood.

Seeing the girl on the bed shift further inward, Lin Senmu was first startled, then delighted, and finally tried to remain calm. However, his trembling voice betrayed his inner excitement, “Is it okay?”

“You’re not allowed to bully me!”

Jiang Yuan turned her back to him, her voice as faint as a mosquito’s hum.

“I won’t, I sleep very soundly!”

Lin Senmu’s tone was sincere.

“I know!”

If it weren’t for the fact that she had seen Lin Senmu sleep peacefully for several nights, Jiang Yuan would never have made such an invitation.

Lin Senmu walked toward the bed.

With each step he took, there was a ‘thud’ inside the RV.

The thudding sounds seemed to step on Jiang Yuan’s heart, making the girl extremely nervous.

Just as Lin Senmu was about to lift the blanket and get into bed, Jiang Yuan suddenly said, “Lin Senmu, let’s sleep the opposite way. You sleep on that end, and I’ll sleep on this end!”

“Okay!”

Lin Senmu, aware of the girl’s anxiety, obediently lay down at the foot of the bed. In his line of sight, the moonlight shone on the girl’s fair little feet, leaving Lin Senmu somewhat dazed.

“Lin Senmu, we agreed, you’re not allowed to bully me!”

Jiang Yuan shrank further into the double bed.

“Don’t worry!”

Lin Senmu’s tone was solemn. He knew that nothing he said could ease the girl’s tension at this moment.

Jiang Yuan whispered.

“Good night, Jiang Yuan!”

Lin Senmu also said his bedtime words.

After that, there was a long period of silence. It was unclear whether the boy and girl on the double bed were sleeping peacefully.

Lin Senmu couldn’t sleep and turned over.

However, his movement immediately elicited a nervous voice from the girl, “Lin Senmu, you’re a good person!”

“Go to sleep, stop giving me Friend cards. If I were really a big bad guy, you would have been devoured by me long ago!”

Lin Senmu said with a hint of annoyance.

“Hehe, Lin Senmu, you’re the best!”

Jiang Yuan fed him another sip of bewitching soup, filled him with a sense of security, and then, unable to resist her drowsiness, fell into a deep sleep.

Lin Senmu pushed away the distracting thoughts in his mind and counted one sheep, two sheep, three sheep… gradually falling asleep.

When humans fall asleep, the sky brightens in an instant.

Inside the RV, Jiang Yuan’s scream rang out, “Ah, Lin Senmu, where is your hand?”

Lin Senmu was awakened by the high-pitched sound and found that he and Jiang Yuan were sleeping on the same end.

“Oh no, can I still go to college in September?”

Lin Senmu was stunned. He wanted to rub his eyes to wake up, but his hands froze in mid-air, not daring to make any movement.

“Go take a shower!”

Jiang Yuan widened her eyes.

“Damn it!”

Lin Senmu quickly got out of bed.

“Ah!!!”

“Lin Senmu, what exactly did you do to me last night???”

Jiang Yuan saw the mess in the surroundings and let out another high-pitched scream.

“Wuwu, Lin Senmu, you promised you wouldn’t bully me!”

Jiang Yuan had always thought Lin Senmu’s hands were long and good-looking, but now…

She also noticed the scattered clothes all over the floor.

“Jiang Yuan, wait for me a moment. I’ll take a shower and come out to explain!”

Lin Senmu felt extremely uncomfortable and quickly rushed into the bathroom to take a shower.

In just a minute, Lin Senmu emerged and saw Jiang Yuan, who was hugging her knees and burying her face in them, crying sorrowfully.

He spoke to the girl with utmost seriousness, “Jiang Yuan, I will take responsibility!”

“How are you going to take responsibility?” Jiang Yuan lifted her tear-streaked face and looked at him sadly, “I always believed you were a good person, but you’ve completely betrayed my trust!”

“Jiang Yuan, will you be my girlfriend?” Filled with guilt, Lin Senmu still blurted out these untimely words from his heart, fearing that if he didn’t speak now, he might never get another chance.

“No, I don’t know you at all. We’ve only known each other for a few days!” If Lin Senmu had seriously pursued her before, Jiang Yuan, despite her disbelief in long-distance relationships, would have seriously considered it.

But now the situation was different. She had always thought Lin Senmu was an exceptionally good guy and believed she knew him somewhat.

However, upon waking up, all the trust and goodwill they had built between them had completely vanished.

“So, what do you want to do with me?” Lin Senmu asked silently.

Jiang Yuan instinctively grabbed her phone, about to dial the police, but as she looked at the boy who had been her first intimate contact, she couldn’t bring herself to do it.

“Move aside!” Jiang Yuan wiped her eyes, got out of bed, pushed Lin Senmu aside, and stumbled into the bathroom.

She took a quick shower and came out to pack her belongings directly.

Then she stepped out of the RV and trudged towards the roadside to wait for a ride.

Seeing the girl’s lonely and fragile figure, Lin Senmu couldn’t help but chase after her.

But he hadn’t gone far when Jiang Yuan suddenly turned around and shouted, “Don’t come near me!”

“Yuan Yuan, be careful!” Lin Senmu dared not chase further and called out the nickname he had long wanted to use, watching her back.

Jiang Yuan paused but did not turn around again.

Soon, the ride she had called arrived, and she still didn’t look back, escaping into the car as if fleeing.

Lin Senmu watched the departing vehicle with despair in his eyes; he was truly captivated by this girl.

“What is all this? Clearly, you were the one who ended up on my side of the bed. I sleep so soundly!” Lin Senmu recalled the situation upon waking; he hadn’t moved from the foot of the bed!

But in his memory, after falling asleep yesterday, he seemed to have had a dream.

The person in the dream was indeed Jiang Yuan, and in the throes of adolescent restlessness, he did things in the dream he wouldn’t dare in reality.

Little did he know, upon waking, reality would be just as absurd.

Lin Senmu returned to the RV, waiting for the rescue team to bring the fuel tank.

He knew the journey to the West was over, and he had no mood to continue traveling. He started packing his things, planning to leave this place once the RV was refueled.

Lin Senmu couldn’t help but think of Jiang Yuan again, feeling as if his heart was being pricked by needles.

Soon, the rescue team arrived.

Lin Senmu asked, “Do you have a cigarette?”

“Yes, give us a five-star rating, handsome!” The rescuer handed him a cigarette.

“Cough, cough!” Lin Senmu lit it and took a puff, immediately choking. It was his first time smoking.

“Buddy, if you don’t know how to smoke, don’t learn. It’s really not a good thing!” The rescuer advised kindly before leaving.

Distracted, Lin Senmu refueled the car, his mind filled with the girl who had unexpectedly captured his heart.

Suddenly, he noticed an external camera and remembered there was also an internal one in the vehicle. Lin Senmu couldn’t help but enter the car to check what had happened last night.

The RV was a hybrid, running on both electricity and fuel. Except for the first day when it was rented and used electric power, it had been consuming fuel ever since.

The vehicle’s surveillance system had been continuously powered.

Through the surveillance footage, Lin Senmu clearly saw every detail of what had transpired last night.

After Jiang Yuan fell asleep in the middle of the night, she became restless, unconsciously moving to the foot of the bed and treating Lin Senmu like a body pillow.

Lin Senmu, feeling cold in the low temperature, ended up holding the girl.

Indeed, many indescribable things happened between them after they both fell asleep…

Things had gone a bit too far.

“It was you who initiated it!!!”

Lin Senmu sighed with a look of lament, “I was clearly sleeping on my side…”
