The Movie-Watching App

It was precisely for this reason that Lin Senmu didn’t want to live with his father.

Lin Senmu’s view on love was one of unwavering devotion and lifelong commitment.

“I want to watch a movie with you.”

Lin Senmu had met someone who made him understand the phrase “longing day and night.” Even a few days apart from that person made him feel lovesick.

Hearing this, Lin Senmu instantly became excited, “You mean I should come to Jiangnan and watch a movie with you?”

“If we’re not meeting, how can we watch a movie together?”

Jiang Yuan pouted slightly. This Sen Sen, always wanting to come to Jiangnan—was he just trying to sleep with Yuan Yuan?

Jiang Yuan called him a dummy, “Go download the Weiying App. This app lets you watch movies together!”

“Oh, I see!”

Lin Senmu immediately downloaded the app, “Alright, how does it work?”

Jiang Yuan sent him a link on Green Bubble, saying, “Copy the link I sent you, then open Weiying!”

Lin Senmu followed the steps and entered a small room.

In the room, the upper part of the screen was playing a foreign movie, and the progress bar showed it was nearing the end.

The lower part was a chat window.

“Beep beep beep!”

While Lin Senmu was still figuring things out, a voice prompt popped up on the screen.

He quickly answered.

Jiang Yuan’s melodious voice came through, “Lin Senmu, I’m watching a romance movie, and it’s almost over. What movie do you want to watch? I’ll go find it, and then we can watch it together!”

Lin Senmu looked surprised, “Is this app really that amazing? We can watch movies together and even talk?”

“Exactly! Except for not being face-to-face, it’s pretty much the same as watching a movie in real life!”

Jiang Yuan introduced the features to him, “Besides that, we can also listen to music together and play mini-games!”

“How do you know about this? Have you watched movies like this with someone else before?”

Lin Senmu’s tone was tinged with jealousy.

Lin Senmu felt that Jiang Yuan was really good at comforting him. He had been extremely angry and uncomfortable just moments ago, but with just a few words, she had soothed him.

“I knew it had to be a girl!”

Next, Jiang Yuan played *Mr. Vampire* in the small room.

The main characters were Uncle Jiu, Wencai, Qiusheng, and the Security Captain.

The main plot revolved around this group working together to deal with the reanimated Master Ren.

“Yuan Yuan!”

Lin Senmu called her.

“Yes?”

Jiang Yuan responded.

“I’m scared, I need a hug!”

“Lin Senmu, are you a girl? I’m not even scared, what are you afraid of?”

“Wah wah wah!”

“Fine, fine, I’ll hug you. Stop making noise and watch the movie quietly!”

After getting what he wanted, Lin Senmu smirked slyly. He found that using a girl’s tactics was really effective; even the girl herself couldn’t resist.

When the movie ended after more than an hour, it was already past midnight, marking the end of a wonderful day for the young couple.

Jiang Yuan mumbled, “I really can’t do anything with you!”

This phrase had unknowingly become a catchphrase between them.

The young couple, who were sleeping while staying connected via voice call, didn’t want their phones to run out of battery and shut down midway.

Because waking up to see the call duration was something they found romantic.
