Clock Trap
Clock Trap chapter 61

So awkward!

After Yu Sen yelled that out, Si Nan’s face instantly turned red. Glancing at Si Xuanyang with a murderous look, he took two steps back and whispered, “Do you want me to take care of him? I need to be alive to do that…”

Yu Sen, crouched down with a look of stubbornness, clung tightly to the railing, displaying a defiant attitude. Seeing Si Xuanyang coming up the stairs step by step, he felt a familiar sense of danger.

“I’m telling you! Don’t come over here, Little Chef of China. If you take one more step, I’ll jump from here!”

Si Xuanyang was bewildered: “What is this ‘Little Chef of China’ nonsense? And jumping off the railing, what kind of performance is this?”

Yu Sen clung to the railing. During these days, Si Xuanyang had learned the lesson of ‘medicines should not be taken in excess’ and hadn’t forced him to drink those awful herbal medicines anymore…

But he became obsessed with food supplements! He transformed into the modern equivalent of a Chinese Little Master Chef.

To care for Yu Sen’s stomach, he couldn’t eat too much at once, but eating too little would be ineffective. So, it was necessary to eat at every meal.

Now, every meal Yu Sen had was packed with blood-enriching ingredients. When Si Xuanyang looked at those ingredients meant to enrich the blood, he saw not dishes but rather a torrent of blood joyfully rushing into Yu Sen’s body. He was extremely satisfied, feeding him meal after meal, never stopping.

But the problem was, Yu Sen hated all those foods!

He loved cakes and desserts, hot pot and spicy soup, cold drinks and sodas, and all junk food, but he hated those blood-enriching dishes. Every meal was like chewing wax! It was extraordinarily painful!

It was driving him to the brink!

Yet, Si Xuanyang, as if possessed, began to put great effort into these ingredients, finding ways to make him eat, no matter how Yu Sen pouted, acted cute, seduced, went crazy, or threw tantrums… he would still feed him according to schedule.

It was too domineering!

Without delicious food, Yu Sen increasingly felt that his happy life was heading towards darkness, on the verge of tears: “You can worry about whatever act I’m putting on, but I really will jump.”

“Go ahead and jump, Yu Ge, I’ll catch you.” Si Nan fueled the situation from below.

Si Xuanyang shot a warning glance at Si Nan, then walked over to Yu Sen and reached out to him: “Stop crouching, it’ll make you dizzy if you stay like this.”

That made perfect sense!

After thinking carefully, Yu Sen adhered to the principle of ‘the world is vast, but one’s own health is most important’, gave Si Xuanyang an angry glance from below to above, pretended to adjust his clothes, and calmly stood up.

However, he forgot that often there’s only a thin line between showing off and making a fool of oneself.

The moment he stood up, a sudden numbness surged through his legs, as if electrified. At the same time, his vision went black, and he felt dizzy, with his head leaning unsteadily towards Si Xuanyang’s embrace.

As expected, he was caught in a warm embrace, tightly held between two arms, with the familiar, comforting scent of Si Xuanyang’s body.

“Ah, starting to throw yourself into my arms and seduce me again?” Si Xuanyang teased, blowing gently in his ear, happily watching Yu Sen’s nearly transparent ear gradually turn red.

“… I’m not seducing you, my legs are numb,” Yu Sen closed his eyes to regain composure, leaned against Si Xuanyang’s chest, gritted his teeth, and weakly added, “And my head is spinning…”

“Well then, are you still going to eat the nutritional meal later?”

“… Fine, I’ll eat it!”

Yu Sen reluctantly bit Si Xuanyang’s smooth neck, but his head was still dizzy, and his bite was light, dragging his tongue across his skin like a flirtatious gesture, making Si Xuanyang’s embrace tighten a little more.

“Hiss—why do I feel like I’ve adopted an unweaned kitten?” Si Xuanyang pinched Yu Sen’s waist, not moving, letting him lean against him until the dizziness passed, and said softly, “How about we go inside and rest for a bit? I’ll carry you, no need to walk.”

“No…” Yu Sen weakly agreed, “I want to go downstairs and chat with Si Nan. We haven’t seen each other for a long time.”

“What’s so good about chatting with him?”

“Why wouldn’t it be good,” Yu Sen chuckled softly, “You used to believe in my relationship with him so firmly. By that logic, isn’t Si Nan my ex-boyfriend?”

As soon as he finished speaking, Yu Sen felt the person he was leaning on’s breath stop for a couple of seconds, and he thought to himself that he was in trouble.

Even though he had no relationship with Si Nan beyond that of friends, and was completely innocent, it seemed that the misunderstanding during that period had left such a big shadow on Si Xuanyang that he still harbored a hint of jealousy towards Si Nan. Yet, Yu Sen enjoyed teasing him about it, and it seemed that instead of desensitizing him, it only made him more sensitive.

Yu Sen quickly straightened up and saw the silent, small, angry dragon in front of him. The once-clear eyes now held some ominous depth and hostility, making him shiver involuntarily. He turned and tried to run downstairs.

However, a powerful force pulled him back, lifting him up by the waist.

“Shit—!”

Yu Sen cried out in surprise, reflexively wrapping his arms around Si Xuanyang’s neck, feeling dizzy and pinching him, “Going crazy again? Do you have to show off your fitness results now?”

“With you around, it’s hard not to go crazy,” Si Xuanyang held him steadily, thinking deeply about himself, “In fact, I’m naturally a very easily agitated person. Yet you’re constantly stoking the flames; be careful not to set yourself ablaze.”

“That’s right! You’re just a freakishly strong, irritable maniac!” Yu Sen rolled his eyes internally, completely unable to understand how, despite being around the same height and looking slim without big muscles, Si Xuanyang could princess-carry someone so easily! Without breaking a sweat, like he was just holding a big cabbage!

Or maybe it wasn’t that the strength difference was that big, but rather that he was just pretending to be tougher than he actually was?

Well, if he’s pretending, he’s doing a great job!

“How am I playing with fire? I’m still a patient, you know. What are you planning to do to me?”

Since he was already being carried, and it seemed so effortless, Yu Sen relaxed and wrapped his arms around him, looking at him with a calm expression, like a dead pig not afraid of boiling water.

He couldn’t believe it. As an adult man, was he really that easy to carry? Besides, with his own health, prone to fainting every day, could this person really afford to mess with him?

“What do I want to do to you?” Si Xuanyang echoed, a dangerous gleam flashing in his eyes as he smirked, “I want to completely erase any thoughts you have about those ex-boyfriends of yours—and make sure we cross the line—by sleeping with you!”

Yu Sen: “!!!”

An immediate level-one alert went off!!!

He tightened his grip around Si Xuanyang’s neck, his voice turning sharp, “No way! That kind of up-and-down movement… It’s too intense! I’ll be exhausted to death!”

Si Xuanyang paused, then smiled meaningfully, “Don’t worry, it won’t tire you out.”
