Another team of detectives arrived at the wool mill.

“Hello, we’re from the Chaoyang Criminal Investigation Department. We want to ask you about your daughter, Shen Hongxing…”

Before the detectives showed their IDs, Shen Jianguo quickly denied any connection, “Officers, you must be mistaken. We only have one daughter, Shen Jiaojiao! Shen Hongxing has nothing to do with us!”

They were afraid of being associated with Shen Hongxing.

Shen Jiaojiao smiled silently.

Shen Jiaojiao listened to their conversation with mixed feelings.

She disliked and envied Shen Hongxing, but she never wanted her dead.

She just wanted to always be superior to Shen Hongxing and make everyone dislike her.

He pointed at Shen Jianguo and his wife, scolding them, “You’re her parents! You believe she killed someone? Didn’t you think of believing her or helping her prove her innocence? Are you even human?”
