As soon as it was announced that He Han would appear in the next episode of Let’s Travel, netizens immediately flooded the show’s official comment section.
“Did I see that right? He Han is actually joining a reality show??”
“You saw it right! My favorite duo is reuniting—I feel like running laps outside to celebrate. I’ve waited so long for this!”
“Ahem, let’s be mindful here—He Han and Ye Fan’s couple name is HanYe, not YuanFang.”
Shortly after the announcement, #HeHanLet’sTravel shot to the top of the trending topics list.
Soon after, HanYe couple also made it onto the trending list.
Within an hour, five out of the top ten trending hashtags were about the two of them.
Normally, whenever some up-and-coming celeb tried to link themselves with He Han—either openly or subtly—they’d be immediately swarmed by his fans.
But for the HanYe couple, He Han’s fans didn’t show the slightest resistance. In fact, many even converted into CP fans.
No one could quite explain why, but there was just something about these two that felt right together.
He Han was the untouchable flower of the entertainment industry, while Ye Fan had sharp, striking features paired with a naturally cool demeanor. When they stood side by side, there was an oddly convincing resemblance—almost like a married couple.
Of course, everyone online knew this was all just wishful fan speculation. In reality, the two had nothing to do with each other and definitely weren’t a couple.
Thanks to He Han’s participation, the popularity of Let’s Travel began to surge once again.
For the first time in a while, the gossip forums had something positive to say about the reality show.
“It was just that one bad apple ruining the whole pot. Since the production team seems genuinely remorseful, I guess I’ll reluctantly give the next episode a try.”
“Producer Han’s shows are always high quality! The special fan cut of Ye Fan’s violin performance from yesterday’s episode was released—I was honestly speechless. Stunning.”
“As a low-key CP fan, I’ll just wait patiently for He Han and Ye Fan to set off together for filming.”
The next episode aired.
This time, the plot revolved around the female celebrities getting lost in Hallstatt, unable to find their way back.
During the first half-hour of the broadcast, ratings were a bit sluggish. But once Gu Yachen started scolding Ding Ruoyi for not being able to navigate, viewership began to climb.
When Ye Fan and Tang Jin got into a conflict over getting lost, the ratings spiked sharply.
Of course, the production team didn’t air the more cutting words exchanged during their argument. All of that was carefully edited out.
From the audience’s perspective, it simply looked like a minor disagreement between the two.
Then, as Ye Fan led the guests in finding their way, the camera stayed focused solely on her. The other A-list celebrities faded into the background—just set dressing. And yet, the ratings suddenly hit a peak.
This episode of Let’s Travel marked a major rebound, reclaiming the top spot in its time slot!
The production team finally breathed a sigh of relief—Ye Fan’s star power had clearly become the show’s saving grace.
Even Tang Jin, the most popular among the rising actresses, couldn’t match the ratings boost brought on by Ye Fan’s presence.
It was undeniable proof of just how well-received Ye Fan had become with viewers.
Judging by the string of trending topics over the past few days, the hype surrounding He Han and Ye Fan as a CP was impossible to ignore.
It was clear the production team already knew exactly what to do for the next round of filming.
Whether it was the filming or the editing, everything had to lean heavily toward the HanYe CP.
…
That evening.
Ye Fan and Dudu were sitting in front of the TV, watching Let’s Travel.
Dudu’s little mouth hung open slightly. “So pretty,” he murmured.
His round eyes stayed glued to the screen, completely enchanted by the scenery of Hallstatt.
A moment later, Ye Fan appeared on screen.
Several female guests were walking through Hallstatt with backpacks, sightseeing together.
Suddenly, Dudu’s expression changed. His little face puffed up, clearly upset.
Ye Fan gently cupped his chubby cheeks. “What’s wrong, baby?”
“I know that bad guy! She’s the one on TV who bullied Mommy,” Dudu said, pointing straight at Tang Jin.
His soft, childish voice pitched high with emotion—like a tiny, fierce little puffball of a hamster.
The next second, Dudu suddenly threw himself into Ye Fan’s arms, his chubby little arms wrapping tightly around her.
His tiny fists clenched, looking like two soft white dumplings. “Don’t be scared, Mommy. Dudu will protect you and fight the bad guys!”
Ye Fan couldn’t help but laugh at his serious little face. “Mommy’s not afraid of anything.”
In the quiet of the night, her voice was especially gentle. “Because when I’m with you, Dudu, I’m the bravest person in the world.”
Dudu looked up, his eyes sparkling. “Really?”
He tilted his little head and studied Ye Fan with wide eyes. This pudgy little warrior looked like he was ready to charge into battle for his mom at any moment.
With Ye Fan’s comforting words, Dudu finally began to calm down.
Nestled in her arms, he continued watching the show.
“Mommy went to such a beautiful place for work.”
“Next time, can Mommy take Dudu with her?”
“Of course!”
…
Later that night, on his little bed, Dudu rolled around in his sleep. His soft arms stretched out, legs straightened, but his eyes stayed shut.
He was still lost in his dreams.
When Ye Fan walked in and saw the scene before her, she smiled silently and softened her steps.
She walked over to Dudu’s little bed. He had kicked off his blanket, one foot sticking out, and his chubby hand was resting on his round belly.
Ye Fan reached down, picked up the blanket that had been pushed to the foot of the bed, and gently covered his stomach with it.
Just as she was about to pull her hand away, Dudu rolled over, his plump little cheek pressing right against her hand. Soft and warm—it was an adorable feeling.
Half-asleep, Dudu instinctively grabbed her hand. His eyes opened to a narrow slit at first, then slowly lifted to reveal a pair of big, shiny black eyes.
Still groggy from sleep, he rubbed his eyes.
“Mommy…” he murmured, rubbing his face against her hand, his eyes starting to close again, ready to drift back to sleep.
But the next second, Dudu’s eyes popped open. He suddenly sat up straight in bed.
Gripping the bedrail with both hands, he pointed toward the door, his eyes lighting up.
“Mommy, I want to see the goldfish!”
He stretched out his arms, asking to be picked up.
Ye Fan burst into laughter—she had just been wondering when he’d remember that.
Ye Fan bent down slightly and scooped Dudu into her arms.
As soon as his feet touched the ground, Dudu dashed off toward the living room with quick, eager steps.
He leaned over the fish tank. “Good morning, Little Fatty and Spot!”
“Sorry I overslept,” he added shyly with a sheepish smile.
Dudu picked up the fish food container from the table. He opened the lid and poured a small amount into his tiny palm.
He remembered what the kind old lady at the pet shop had said yesterday: just a few pellets each day were enough.
Dudu carefully counted them out, then added a few more—just in case.
After a moment’s thought, he hesitated again and reached for the container to pour a bit more into his hand.
Now his little palm was nearly full.
Ye Fan sat down beside him. “Dudu, why are you giving them so much?”
Dudu looked torn. He wanted to follow the old lady’s advice, but he was also worried the fish might go hungry.
He thought and thought, but just couldn’t figure out what to do.
Dudu could only turn to Ye Fan and ask, “Mommy, if the goldfish eat so little every day, won’t they get hungry?”
Then he quickly added, “Dudu eats way more than they do, and I still get hungry. Won’t the fish be hungry too?”
Ye Fan couldn’t help but laugh. She pointed at the little fish swimming in the tank.
“Dudu, look at your size and then look at the goldfish. They’re much smaller than you, so of course they don’t need to eat as much.”
Hearing that, Dudu finally nodded. In his soft little voice, he said, “Okay then.”
He carefully cupped his hands, gathering the excess fish food and pouring it back into the bottle.
He counted several times, just to be sure, then gently sprinkled the right amount into the tank.
Immediately, the two little fish swam up, mouths opening and closing as they nibbled at the food.
Dudu watched with fascination. Even when it was time to eat his own meal, he insisted on dragging a little stool over to sit by the fish tank.
He ate his food while watching the fish eat theirs.
Ye Fan pointed toward the window. “Dudu, do you want to move the goldfish into the sunlight?”
“If they get more sunshine, they’ll be less likely to get sick.”
Dudu’s eyes widened. “Really?”
He suddenly remembered the last time he was sick. Pinching his nose in protest, he shook his head with a pout. “No getting sick—medicine tastes yucky.”
“Then you have to remember to let the fish sunbathe often,” Ye Fan said, pointing to the fish tank on the table.
Dudu patted his chest proudly. “Of course!”
He carefully picked up the fish tank and carried it to the windowsill.
Sunlight poured in, making the water sparkle, and the little fish darted around happily.
Dudu returned to his usual self, watching the fish without blinking. Even after staring at them for so long, he was still completely fascinated.
Ye Fan sat on the sofa, and every now and then, she heard Dudu’s soft giggles.
With his chubby cheeks resting in his hands, he grinned at the tank, showing off a row of tiny pearly baby teeth.
Ye Fan smiled as her gaze settled on Dudu.
The warm sunlight spilled into the room, and tiny specks of dust floated gently in the golden beams.
Even the smallest things felt especially cozy and peaceful.
…
Later, Ye Fan received a call from Cheng Ping.
“Ye Fan,” Cheng Ping began, “I know you’re really busy with work, so I’ve already found a new piano teacher.”
Back when Cheng Ping had first asked Ye Fan to teach her daughter piano, she hadn’t known Ye Fan was a celebrity.
Now that Ye Fan’s popularity was rising, it no longer felt appropriate to have her come over just for lessons.
Ye Fan was not only skilled at piano but also a patient and dedicated teacher. Although Cheng Ping felt a little regretful, she understood.
With a smile in her voice, she said, “Xiaoxiao has her piano exam in a few days. Would you be able to come by tomorrow and give her some last-minute guidance?”
Ye Fan was a true professional, and Cheng Ping would feel much more at ease if she could offer a few tips before the exam.
Ye Fan, of course, agreed. “Sure.”
Ye Fan hung up the phone and looked down. Dudu was standing at her feet, silently watching her while she was on the call.
Now, Dudu’s big, round eyes, like black grapes, were fixed on her.
Ye Fan bent down and gently ruffled his little head. “What’s wrong, baby?”
Dudu asked, “Mommy, are you going to work?”
His little head drooped, and his chubby face fell with a touch of disappointment.
Ye Fan lightly tapped his small nose and smiled softly. “I’m just helping someone with something.”
Dudu tilted his head back, raising his little hand high in the air, his body bouncing with excitement.
“Mommy, I want to go too.”
Fearing she hadn’t noticed, Dudu stretched his hand even higher.
In his soft, baby voice, he repeated, “I want to be with Mommy.”
Ye Fan took his hand and placed a gentle kiss on it.
“Alright, we’ll do whatever you say, baby.”
Ye Fan understood what Dudu meant. He was worried she might leave again and wanted to stay by her side as much as possible.
Dudu said earnestly, “Even though I’m just a baby, I can still help!”
Ye Fan’s lips curved into a smile.
“Since you’re so capable, Mommy certainly trusts you.”
Hearing her words, Dudu grinned widely.
The next day, Ye Fan took Dudu out with her. The car started, and they drove off.
When they arrived, Ye Fan picked Dudu up, preparing to walk forward.
At that moment, Dudu gently squeezed Ye Fan’s fingers.
“Mommy, I want to walk by myself.”
Ye Fan looked down at him.
Dudu straightened his little body, and with his chubby hand, he patted his chest.
His soft voice rang out.
“Baby is very sensible. I can’t always let Mommy carry me. I have to set a good example for others.”
Ye Fan leaned down and kissed Dudu’s little chubby cheek.
“You’re such a good boy.”
Ye Fan gently set Dudu down, and he waddled along beside her, his short legs moving quickly.
When they arrived at Cheng Ping’s house, Ye Fan rang the doorbell.
A few seconds later, the door opened.
Ye Fan held Dudu’s hand as they walked in. She smiled and greeted, “Aunt Cheng.”
Cheng Ping saw them and smiled warmly. “You’re here.”
Cheng Ping looked down, her gaze stopping in surprise.
Standing there was a small, adorable child.
His eyes were large and dark, and he was absolutely charming.
Cheng Ping gasped, her face lighting up with joy. “Where did such a beautiful little one come from?”
Ye Fan smiled and replied, “This is my child.”
She looked down at Dudu and softly asked, “Baby, what should you say now?”
Dudu stood by Ye Fan’s feet, tugging at the hem of her pants as he peered up with a curious little head.
Dudu obediently called out in his soft, sweet voice, “Auntie, hello.”
Before they came, Mommy had already explained to him how to address them.
Cheng Ping smiled warmly and asked, “Little darling, what’s your name?”
Dudu replied, “I’m Dudu.”
Cheng Ping’s smile deepened. “Dudu, what a cute name!”
Dudu tilted his head, looking up at Ye Fan, his little eyes sparkling. “I like this name too. Mommy picked it.”
Cheng Ping couldn’t help but fall in love with Dudu.
Yan Xiaoxiao, who stood next to Cheng Ping, also looked curiously at the adorable little bundle of joy.
Ye Fan gently squeezed Dudu’s little hand and pointed toward Yan Xiaoxiao.
“Baby, how should you address this sister?”
Dudu looked at Yan Xiaoxiao and, in his soft, sweet voice, said, “Sister, hello.”
Yan Xiaoxiao smiled warmly. “Teacher Ye, your baby is so cute.”
Cheng Ping glanced at Ye Fan, feeling a slight sense of regret.
She had always thought that Ye Fan and He Han made a perfect pair and had hoped they might meet, thinking they might have a special connection.
But now that she knew Ye Fan had a child, that idea was momentarily put aside.
Ye Fan took Dudu’s hand, ready to begin teaching Yan Xiaoxiao how to play the piano.
“Dudu, Mommy is going to teach the sister how to play the piano now. Could you sit on the side for a little while?” Ye Fan asked, concerned that Dudu might find the piano lesson boring and hoping he would play nearby.
Dudu shook his head, his small hand clutching Ye Fan’s sleeve tightly.
“I want to watch Mommy play the piano.”
Ye Fan smiled and agreed, “Then can you sit next to Mommy?”
Dudu happily clapped his hands and cheerfully replied, “Okay!”
At that moment, Cheng Ping brought over some fruit and drinks.
Cheng Ping asked with concern, “Is Dudu hungry? Would you like some snacks?”
Dudu shook his head and replied, “I’m not hungry. I don’t want to eat.”
After thinking for a moment, he added, “Thank you, Aunty.”
Cheng Ping felt her heart melt at the sight of this adorable little one.
She smiled and said, “Well, the snacks are here. If you get hungry, remember to come and have some.”
Dudu nodded his little head, “Mhm.”
Dudu knew that Ye Fan was about to start playing the piano, so he hurriedly climbed up to the piano bench.
He looked up with effort at the chair, which was much taller than him.
He blinked, realizing how high the chair was.
Turning his head, he reached out his little hand toward Ye Fan.
“Mommy, pick me up.”
Ye Fan gently lifted Dudu and placed him on the bench.
She looked at him carefully and said, “While Mommy plays the piano, you need to stay still and behave. Don’t move around.”
She was worried that Dudu might fall.
Dudu replied in his soft voice, “I’m very good.”
Ye Fan, still concerned, reminded him a few more times.
Yan Xiaoxiao sat on Ye Fan’s left, while Dudu nestled against her right side.
As Ye Fan played the piano, she guided Yan Xiaoxiao, explaining what to pay attention to during the exam.
Yan Xiaoxiao listened carefully, occasionally asking a few questions.
From time to time, Ye Fan glanced back at Dudu to check if he was sitting properly.
Dudu noticed that Ye Fan kept talking to Yan Xiaoxiao and wasn’t paying attention to him.
He pouted, feeling a bit aggrieved.
His mom’s playing sounded so beautiful—so why wasn’t he happy?
When the piece ended, Ye Fan was still talking with Yan Xiaoxiao.
Dudu stared blankly. Was this big sister trying to steal his mom?
For the first time in his young life, Dudu felt a sense of crisis.
He looked at Ye Fan and tugged at the corner of her shirt.
Ye Fan turned to him and asked gently, “What’s wrong, sweetheart?”
Dudu raised his little hand and insisted, “Mommy, later I want to sit between you and the big sister.”
