Xu Wanting hesitated for a moment and then nodded.
“I knew you went to see him! Otherwise, he would have slinked back long ago! Let me tell you, Xu Wanting, you are not allowed to see him again. I want to see how long he can defy me!” Xie Bingyan sneered.
Xu Xuehui quickly interjected, “Mom, elder sister is worried about Xu Mo’s college entrance exam. Half a month ago, you mentioned in the group chat that the exam should be the priority, letting other matters slide. Xu Mo is also taking the exam!”
Xie Bingyan stared at her mockingly, “With his grades, what can he achieve? Can he blossom in the exam? I’ve said it before, don’t pin your hopes on him! I want you to focus on Junzhe; his exam success is paramount now! As for Xu Mo, I have a way to deal with him!”
“Perhaps elder sister also wants to guide Xu Mo a bit!” Xu Xuehui timidly spoke up.
Xie Bingyan chuckled instantly, then turned to mockingly glare at Xu Wanting, “Wanting, what are you so concerned about? I know what you’re worried about! However, if Xu Mo had even half of Junzhe’s excellence, I wouldn’t be upset with him! Look at what he’s done. Running off and not coming home for a month; this rebellious child doesn’t need guidance!”
Listening to these words, Xu Wanting felt a sense of desolation in her heart.
Xie Bingyan was aware that Xu Mo’s performance at the No. 27 High school was actually quite good. However, she still harbored prejudice against the school, considering it only a third-rate institution incapable of producing good students. She likely dismissed the school principals’ words as false.
With the college entrance exam approaching, she naturally didn’t want these messy issues to affect Xu Junzhe. Therefore, she didn’t want Xu Wanting to be distracted by Xu Mo and take away time from guiding Xu Junzhe.
Sometimes, prejudice can truly kill a person.
She may seem alive, but inside, she is already dead.
“Mom, is Xu Mo really your biological child?” After some contemplation, Xu Wanting couldn’t help but ask.
Xie Bingyan was taken aback and responded, “I had the same doubt! Xu Mo, this rebellious child, doesn’t resemble me, your father, or any of you! However, we have tested multiple times, and the doctors confirmed it to be true. We even had it verified abroad!”
“If he is indeed our biological child, then Xu Mo… should also excel in his studies, right?” Xu Wanting struggled to speak and continued, “Otherwise, Mom, why bring him back?”
“Since he is our biological child, naturally we must bring him back. Should we leave him wandering outside?” Xie Bingyan exclaimed angrily. “Let me tell you, Xu Wanting, Xu Mo’s deep-rooted bad habits are hard to eliminate. Right now, I am trying to save him and teach him. If he doesn’t learn, then he doesn’t deserve to be a part of our Xu family or enjoy anything we have!”
“Furthermore, I warn all of you, do not follow his example! If he doesn’t learn well, he is doomed to be a pile of mud!”
Upon hearing Xie Bingyan’s words, Xu Wanting and Xu Xuehui fell silent.
They were unsure of what to say!
Xie Bingyan continued, “Take a few more days off this month and come back. Try to assist Junzhe as much as possible in the evenings, go over questions with him! Also, notify your younger siblings to come back as well! All of you sisters must ensure Junzhe excels in his exams!”
Xu Wanting and Xu Xuehui could only nod in response.
The household was fully prepared and on high alert for Xu Junzhe’s college entrance exam.
The entire family was tense, fearing any misstep.
Xie Bingyan had been preparing for this since a month ago.
However, it seems that almost the entire family has not asked Xu Mo about taking the college entrance exam.
If Xu Mo had not caused a huge commotion this time and left home directly, she and Xu Xuehui probably wouldn’t have noticed this issue either.
Thinking about it seriously, she felt suffocated!
Is Xu Mo really their biological child?
