Whether Xu Mo knows about his own palladium poisoning remains unknown; this medical report analysis is generally only comprehensible to trained medical professionals.
Others who look at it will mostly only notice anemia and malnutrition.
Xu Wanting needs to go remind him.
But if someone did make him ingest it… Xu Wanting dared not think further; such matters are too dark!
Xu Xuehui hurried over soon after.
Just now, Xu Xuehui was still crying; she didn’t dare to face Xu Mo, feeling deeply guilty. Xu Wanting could somewhat understand her feelings.
However, Xu Wanting temporarily decided not to bring Xu Shuying along; Xu Shuying was also one of the suspects.
“Let’s go! Let’s ask Xu Mo if he knows!” Xu Wanting said.
“Okay!” Xu Xuehui nodded, equally hesitant to dwell on the matter.
The two quickly drove to where Xu Mo lived. During this period, Xu Mo had been busy with driving lessons. Xu Wanting had already let the police find out where he lived.
…
In fact, these past few days, Xu Mo had been quite busy. The shared bikes had been launched, and there were quite a few people depositing money. Currently, the number had reached five hundred.
In the morning, a truckload of bicycles was delivered, totaling five thousand. Xu Mo, Tang Lei, and others stored and inspected the bicycles, preparing to continue placing them.
There weren’t significant issues with the initial promotion of the bicycles. However, with the increased quantity, there was a fear of urban management, so it was necessary to inform them. There wouldn’t be any immediate problems, but in the future, they would seek angel investors.
Xu Mo didn’t place all his hopes on shared bikes. He had bigger plans in mind. Shared bikes were just the beginning of his business. His plan was to get money quickly, secure financing, sell as soon as possible, withdraw the money, and invest in other industries.
That was his plan.
Before carrying out these plans, Xu Mo needed to obtain his driver’s license. He tidied up his room, prepared to leave, and suddenly saw two figures approaching from the other side.
Xu Mo paused, turned around, and then reopened the door, only to find the two already standing in front of it.
“Haven’t checked the horoscopes before going out today!” Xu Mo muttered to himself, unsure why the two of them were here. He didn’t bother to ask, turned around, and locked the door.
“Xu Mo!” Xu Wanting spoke up.
“Xu Mo, are you okay?” Xu Xuehui asked, her eyes red.
“What’s this about? Bad luck!”
Xu Mo locked the door and prepared to leave, but Xu Wanting hurriedly stopped him, saying, “Xu Mo, just wait a moment. We need to talk before you go!”
Xu Mo didn’t want anything to do with them. These people were truly disgusting. He had no intention of getting involved with them, but they kept coming back again and again.
Did they think he hadn’t cursed them enough last time? Although Xu Mo could only vent his anger verbally for now and couldn’t do much with his current situation, if they really provoked him, anything could happen.
“Get lost!” Xu Mo said coldly.
“Xu Mo, do you know that your health is not good? You need to take care of yourself. Sister is very worried about you. Just a few words with Sister, please!” Xu Wanting pleaded with a sorrowful expression.
“Are you two done yet? You think everything revolves around you, right? What a nuisance! Get lost!” Xu Mo yelled angrily.
“Xu Mo, I’m is here to see you! Over these years, I’ve let you down! Just let me say a few words, and then I will leave immediately. How about that?” Xu Wanting said with red eyes.
“I know I was wrong. I shouldn’t have treated you like that before! Can you let me speak first?”
Xu Mo suddenly laughed, “Xu Wanting, who are you trying to impress with your tears? Haven’t I already seen through your true colors several times? Are you trying to make me see through you again? How disgusting can you be!”
“Xu Mo, I truly want to apologize to you!” Xu Wanting’s eyes welled up with tears. Seeing Xu Mo about to leave, she hastily pulled out a medical report. “Xu Mo, your health is not good. You have anemia and low blood sugar. We are really worried about you!”
Xu Mo’s expression changed. “You investigated me?”
“No, no, I am just very concerned about your health. Can you talk to me for a bit, please?” Xu Wanting pleaded.
Xu Xuehui also chimed in anxiously, “Xu Mo, Second Elder Sister couldn’t treat you well before. Let me apologize to you. My past behavior is truly… beyond words!”
Xu Mo chuckled. “This approach isn’t fresh anymore! I’ve heard it all before! And please spare me! You dare to come here now, your courage is quite something. You know I can’t deal with you, right?”
“Xu Mo, there’s more! Do you know your blood heavy metal levels are elevated? There’s excessive palladium content, it seems you’re palladium poisoned!” Xu Wanting exclaimed urgently.
“Oh?” Xu Mo glanced at her.
“Xu Mo, take a look. This is your blood test report, and there’s an abnormality in the palladium element content! Did you eat something that caused palladium poisoning? Did you ingest it yourself?” Xu Wanting swiftly explained, showing him the medical records.
Xu Mo fell silent, looking at the details on the medical record. He wasn’t sure how she got hold of it; the Xu family indeed had some connections.
“Xu Mo, did you eat random things before because you didn’t have food? Do you realize you’re poisoned?” Xu Xuehui also chimed in urgently. “Palladium poisoning is terrifying. Once it deepens, it’s worse than death! What did you eat?”
Xu Mo hadn’t anticipated that they would discover this.
It was somewhat beyond Xu Mo’s expectations.
For these two sisters, Xu Mo no longer harbored any goodwill. Despite once viewing them as lofty goddesses, he now knew what kind of nonsense they were after experiencing death once before.
In his previous life, he was killed, and these sisters were at least partially responsible.
He remained silent, turning to leave.
“Xu Mo!” Xu Wanting was startled and quickly grabbed his hand.
“Let go!” Xu Mo erupted in anger, forcefully shaking off her hand.
“Xu Mo, please listen to what Big Sister has to say! Big Sister is really worried about you. Please don’t leave yet, just let me finish speaking, okay?” Xu Wanting pleaded tearfully.
“What do you want to say? How much more do you want to disgust me?” Xu Mo retorted furiously. “Xu Wanting, do you still feel like you haven’t done enough? Do you really want to play games?”
Xu Wanting hurriedly explained, “I didn’t mean to stop you, I just wants to understand what’s going on. Xu Mo, this medical report has been shown to Fifth Sister, and now everyone is very worried!”
“Worried?” Xu Mo suddenly laughed, squinting his eyes with a hint of coldness. “What are you worried about? Xu Wanting, stop pretending to be compassionate! Others may not know your true colors, but do you think I don’t? And Xu Xuehui, I don’t understand why you keep coming to me?”
Xu Wanting was taken aback. “No, that’s not what I meant, Xu Mo. I just wants to tell you that you’re poisoned, did you know?”
“I’m poisoned, you ask? Xu Wanting, why are you so disgusting? Do you think I wouldn’t know if I were poisoned? Do I need you to remind me?” Xu Mo stared at her intensely.
Xu Wanting was momentarily stunned, her eyes widening slightly.
“And you, Xu Xuehui, I warn you, stay away from me! I don’t want to have anything to do with you anymore!” Xu Mo glared fiercely at Xu Xuehui.
“Xu Mo, do you know you’re poisoned?” Xu Wanting looked at him in astonishment.
“Your expression looks very surprised, very curious about how I found out, right?” Xu Mo sneered coldly. “Xu Wanting, you’re really hypocritical!”
“No, no, Xu Mo, that’s not what we meant. We just want to figure out what’s going on. Tell Big Sister, what did you eat?” Xu Wanting said hastily as she saw him about to leave again.
“Wasn’t it you? My idol! Wasn’t it you who poisoned me? And now you’re asking me what I ate?” Xu Mo exclaimed angrily.
Xu Wanting was shocked. “How could that be possible? I would never poison you!”
“And you, Xu Xuehui! Trying to kill me!” Xu Mo glared at Xu Xuehui, feeling disgusted as she continued to cry. He wanted to leave and turned to walk away.
Xu Wanting was taken aback and hurried to catch up. “Xu Mo, how could we want to poison you? There must be a misunderstanding!”
“I… I didn’t do it either, Xu Mo, what’s going on?” Xu Xuehui cried and asked.
“Move!” Xu Mo impatiently demanded.
“Xu Mo, please explain to Big Sister what’s going on first? I… couldn’t possibly want to poison you!” Xu Wanting pleaded urgently.
Xu Mo chuckled suddenly. “Xu Wanting, you really disgust me! You couldn’t have poisoned me? You couldn’t have wanted to kill me? Do you want me to expose your true colors?”
“I, I… I couldn’t possibly!” Xu Wanting widened her eyes in disbelief.
“Four months ago, you brought back a carton of milk from the company, put it at the bottom of the fridge, and left it there until it expired!” Xu Mo stared at her, then turned to Xu Xuehui. “Then, this so-called good Second Elder Sister took out the milk, saw that it had expired, and cheerfully said, ‘This milk is expired, nobody else dares to drink it, Xu Mo, you can have it!'”
“What a good sister indeed! She gave me the just expired milk to drink, with a smile on her face, knowing I had nothing to eat! I was ecstatic at that time, feeling like Second Elder Sister genuinely cared for me!”
“I still remember her expression! Truly a good Second Elder Sister, so compassionate!”
Xu Wanting and Xu Xuehui were both shaken to their cores.
“You haven’t forgotten, have you? Have you?” Xu Mo continued, his voice charged with accusation. “You ask who poisoned me? Well, I’ll tell you—it’s you!”
“It’s you who wanted to kill me!”
“Are you satisfied now? Have you got the answers you wanted?”
