Ye Hancheng had a better grasp of English, given that his mother had remarried and lived in the United States. During holidays, he occasionally went there to stay for a while.

After an hour, Ye Hancheng had completed his English test paper, except for the listening section, which he had not done due to the absence of an audio recording.

He turned to look at the girl beside him, and Qin Yumian had just finished her math test paper.

Ye Hancheng naturally chose the jungle role.

Qi Yin said, “Can I stick with Big Brother Ye first? I’ll follow Big Brother Qiu after Big Brother Ye hits level four, okay?”

Qiu Gaotiao’s voice had a teasing tone. “No problem. You can stay with Big Brother Ye the whole time if you want.”

Ye Hancheng ignored him and began to control his hero to farm the jungle.

Qi Yin’s hero followed closely behind Ye Hancheng’s in the game, her voice sweet as she said, “Big Brother Ye, I’ll help you take down the red buff.”

Ye Hancheng: “…”

Ye Hancheng remained silent, focusing on his jungle farming.

After clearing the jungle, Ye Hancheng’s hero reached level four. He then moved to the bottom-lane to assist Qiu Gaotiao in catching the enemy marksman.

Qi Yin stayed close to Ye Hancheng, and the three of them coordinated to secure a kill.

“Big Brother Ye is amazing,” Qi Yin said with a beaming smile.

Qiu Gaotiao chimed in, “Only Big Brother Ye is amazing? What about me?”

Qi Yin seemed to be shy, and her voice sounded delicate, “You’re both amazing.”

Ye Hancheng appeared to have not heard the girl’s praise, quickly securing the dragon and then making a round through the mid-lane.

Qi Yin followed and suggested, “Big Brother Ye, let’s invade the enemy jungle.”

“Mm.” Ye Hancheng responded noncommittally.

The hero controlled by Qi Yin led the way. “I’ll go in front. If anyone comes out, I can help block damage for Big Brother Ye.”

The enemy’s red buff was still up. After Ye Hancheng and Qi Yin took it, they went to the top-lane to assist with a gank.

Coincidentally, the enemy mid-laner came over to help, leading to a chaotic skirmish. Qi Yin’s hero was killed, but Ye Hancheng managed to secure a double kill.

Qi Yin cheered on the other end of the phone. “Big Brother Ye is so cool!”

Qiu Gaotiao had just taken down the enemy marksman and was displaying his victory like a peacock spreading its feathers. “Yinyin, look at me! Your Big Brother Qiu managed to solo kill the enemy marksman.”

“But Big Brother Ye got a double kill, so Big Brother Ye is still a bit better.”

Qiu Gaotiao playfully said, “That’s heart-wrenching. Big Brother Qiu’s heart is hurt now and needs a kiss from Yinyin to feel better.”

The girl’s laughter was as clear and melodious as bells. She replied in a coquettish tone, “Big Brother Qiu, you’re always bullying me.”
