Chapter 28: A Sudden Imperial Edict

Yunzhi picked up the agreement and glanced at it. When she saw that it stated she had to compensate 200,000 taels, her face immediately darkened. She said, “Father Yun, why don’t you just rob me?”

Yunzhi was genuinely angry, she didn’t even call him ‘father’.

“Once you sign this, you won’t be.” Yunzhi patted the agreement in her hand and said to Yuncheng, “I can sign this agreement, and I can give you the money. But only 10,000 taels, consider it as repayment for what you spent on me all these years.”

After speaking, Yunzhi instructed Rulan to bring paper and ink. She was going to rewrite the agreement.

After writing it, she signed her name first, then handed the pen to him and said, “Sign your name, and we’ll have no more connection.”
