Chapter 38: Attribute Boosts Galore
After finishing the picking, Su Ning went home early to organize her equipment. After all, hunting snakes was a big deal, and she couldn’t afford to be careless.
The leather set she was making for Huoyang had been finished early, though there had been a small incident.
One day:
Su Ning looked at the completed bull skull specimen. It was heavy and large—completely unsuitable for a hat. She took the prepared horned bull skull to show Huoyang and Duoduo. Unexpectedly, Huoyang loved the skull at first sight, completely ignoring whether it could be made into a hat. Luckily, Qiao Duoduo immediately spotted the problem.

“Sigh~ I didn’t want to be this strong, but I’m just too exceptional, I can’t suppress it.”
Her words made Duoduo and Huoyang want to hit her. A normally humble person, once unrestrained, becomes unstoppable.
“Enough, be a normal person.”
Duoduo laughed until she cried. Su Ning’s mix-and-match gear style for attributes was truly hard to describe. But it wasn’t her fault—time was tight, so she wore everything she could craft or imagine.
Still, once they stepped onto a crowded street, Duoduo’s neatly matched pure cotton sportswear actually looked more out of place. Why?
Because rare equipment was extremely hard to get. Every owner treated each piece like treasure. Regardless of appearance or material, they proudly wore it.
Thus, in a crowd, 8 or 9 out of 10 people looked bizarre—mixing different gear. Pre-apocalypse sportswear, lacking attributes, was ignored regardless of how beautiful. Unless one had no other gear, it wouldn’t be worn.
