Drama Queen’s Guide to First Love
Drama Queen’s Guide to First Love chapter 35

Xie Wanxing’s short film indeed only took a few days to film. Four days later, he flew back to Jiangcheng.

Fu Wenshan had kept him on edge with a phone call for the past few days, making it difficult for him to sleep at night. He had to apply a face mask while on the plane.

Their nanny car was parked directly at the airport, so after getting off the plane, Wang Xiaoming drove the car out of the parking lot and asked, “Ge, are we going back to Cuhe Bay?”

But Xie Wanxing stared out the window, lost in thought.

He came back a day early today, didn’t tell Fu Wenshan he was boarding the plane, and didn’t ask him to pick him up, so Fu Wenshan should still be at the company.

He had originally decided to shrink back, dragging it out for another day, and tell Fu Wenshan tomorrow that he had returned. Even if it was a major event, he would wait until tomorrow to face it.

But now as he looked at the gradually dimming sky outside, he suddenly felt a bit melancholy.

Even if he delayed for a day, what difference would it make? What changes could this day bring?

“No, let’s go to Canyu,” Xie Wanxing said.

Wang Xiaoming chuckled and glanced at him through the rearview mirror. “Xie ge, are you going to pick up Mr. Fu?”

Xie Wanxing absentmindedly murmured, “Um.”

He had just landed and exchanged WeChat messages with Fu Wenshan, who said he was still at the office and would leave in a while.

Xie Wanxing calculated the time. It would take about an hour to drive to Fu Wenshan’s company, just in time to pick him up after work.

He leaned his head against the car window. It was approaching dusk outside, and the sky was painted a beautiful purple.

He didn’t know what Fu Wenshan would say to him later. Maybe it would be a farewell, a complete end to this relationship, or maybe, there was a tiny possibility that Fu Wenshan, like him, had feelings and wanted to start a formal relationship.

But he didn’t want to speculate anymore.

He couldn’t wait to see Fu Wenshan, to ask for a kiss, and for a hug after being apart for so long.

The traffic was good that day. In less than an hour, Xie Wanxing arrived at the basement of Canyu Company.

Their family knew the CEO of Canyu, so since he got involved with Fu Wenshan, he had obtained a pass for himself and entered smoothly.

After Wang Xiaoming parked the car, Xie Wanxing checked the time and was about to call Fu Wenshan when he heard Wang Xiaoming say, “Ge, look, isn’t that Fu ge over there?”

Xie Wanxing looked up and indeed saw Fu Wenshan not far away. But before he could lower the car window to call him, he noticed a person in a white shirt catching up to Fu Wenshan from behind, eagerly grabbing Fu Wenshan’s arm.

At first, Xie Wanxing thought it was a colleague of Fu Wenshan’s, but he soon saw Fu Wenshan shaking off the person’s hand, his face full of annoyance.

Only then did he recognize the person. He hadn’t met him in person, but he had seen interviews about him trending online.

Wang Xiaoming also leaned against the car window to watch the excitement. He also saw the person’s face clearly and muttered, “Isn’t that Yao something, the little white lotus flower? Damn, he’s wearing just a shirt in this weather; isn’t he cold?”

Xie Wanxing didn’t call out to Fu Wenshan anymore. He silently lowered the car window a crack and eavesdropped shamelessly.

He wanted to hear what this little cunning guy wanted to say to Fu Wenshan.

The sound in the basement was amplified, and Yao Ren seemed to have no intention of lowering his voice, as if he wanted to attract attention. As Xie Wanxing listened, his face twisted.

Yao Ren was putting on a show of distress to Fu Wenshan.

Yao Ren came to Canyu today specifically to confront Fu Wenshan.

He had suffered a bit from the last online trending incident. Even the few endorsements he had were withdrawn, but he still wanted to see Fu Wenshan again.

What he was betting on was Fu Wenshan’s lingering affection for him. Based on their past relationship, maybe Fu Wenshan would forgive him.

Yao Ren’s voice couldn’t compare to Fu Wenshan’s, but it had a youthful charm. When he spoke with a hint of a crying tone, he seemed particularly pitiful.

He whispered to Fu Wenshan, “I know you hate me. I did betray you back then. We agreed to debut together, but I…”

He paused here, vaguely skimming over the past, as if he didn’t want to bring it up again. “I came to see you today, not to bother you. Perhaps you won’t believe it, but I truly liked you back then, and I genuinely wanted to be with you. But I was too young at that time. I was too eager to step onto the stage, which led me astray.”

Yao Ren stopped for a few seconds at this point, probably hoping Fu Wenshan would respond to him, but Fu Wenshan just stood there with his arms crossed, a hint of a cold smile on his lips.

Yao Ren’s heart skipped a beat. He could only continue according to the script he had prepared. “I know I’m no longer worthy of you. I didn’t intend to pester you. I just heard… that you’ve been single all these years, so I, I had a glimmer of hope.”

After saying this, he looked at Fu Wenshan with a somewhat timid yet hopeful look in his eyes.

Fu Wenshan internally applauded Yao Ren. With acting skills like his, he should have become famous as an actor long ago.

He didn’t want to linger with him any longer. If it weren’t for considering that Yao Ren’s petite frame couldn’t withstand a punch from him, he really felt like punching someone.

He picked up his phone to call security, but before pressing the dial button, he couldn’t help but reply to Yao Ren, “Who told you I’ve been single all these years? I have a boyfriend, thank you.”

He said this with a low voice, after all, it was just bragging; Xie Wanxing wasn’t his boyfriend.

Yao Ren was stunned, showing an expression of disbelief, but before he could say anything, a heavy sound of the door closing echoed in the empty underground parking lot.

Fu Wenshan and Yao Ren both looked up, their eyes widening in surprise.

Under the dim lights, Xie Wanxing walked over as if taking a leisurely stroll. That day, he wore a pure black windbreaker, his long hair was not tied up, just casually draped over his shoulders, making his skin appear even whiter than snow, with a touch of coldness in his brows and eyes. He was well-suited for wearing a windbreaker, appearing slender and flexible, with straight legs that looked like blades, making the underground parking lot seem like a catwalk.

He stood in front of Yao Ren, half a head taller, looking down at him with a commanding presence.

Yao Ren almost immediately felt the pressure, not just from the height difference, but also from the aura that brooked no infringement.

Fu Wenshan’s gaze remained glued to Xie Wanxing, as he asked, “Why are you here?”

Xie Wanxing glanced at him before shifting his gaze back to Yao Ren. “Someone laid hands on my person. Don’t I need to come take a look?”

After saying this, he raised his chin slightly towards Yao Ren. “You might not know me. Let me introduce myself. Xie Wanxing, Fu Wenshan’s current boyfriend. I overheard what you were saying to him just now, and I didn’t like it. So I’ve come to correct you.”

Fu Wenshan looked at Xie Wanxing, both shocked and delighted.

But Xie Wanxing didn’t even spare him a glance, just coldly staring at Yao Ren.

Internally, Yao Ren’s alarm bells were ringing. How could he not recognize Xie Wanxing? As one of the hottest young actors now, how could he suddenly become Fu Wenshan’s boyfriend?

He subconsciously glanced at Fu Wenshan, only to find Fu Wenshan looking as happy as a husky.

Yao Ren: “…”

“We’re all in the entertainment industry, so there’s no need to pretend to be innocent. You just said that your feelings for Fu Wenshan back then were genuine, but you couldn’t resist the temptation?” Xie Wanxing sarcastically laughed, looking at Yao Ren as if he were looking at an ant, “Such lies can only deceive children. You clearly left him because you didn’t know Fu Wenshan’s background back then and thought he was just a poor boy, so you abandoned him and ran to your sponsor. Now that you know he’s a true young master, you’re shamelessly trying to reconcile.”

Yao Ren’s face turned pale at his words, and before he could react, Xie Wanxing didn’t give him a chance to retort.

“Secondly, you said you wouldn’t pester him. That’s also a joke,” Xie Wanxing said leisurely. “If I were you, I’d look in the mirror. Do you look better than me? Are you more successful in your career, or from a better family? Who would be blind enough to not like me and choose you? Even if you were to pester him, you’d better have something to offer.”

“But I don’t like others coveting what’s mine, especially a partner. Furthermore, you’ve stolen things from Fu Wenshan before. He didn’t hold you accountable, but I will,” Xie Wanxing said, lowering his head to look at Yao Ren, his beautiful and compelling face turning cold. When his face became cold, his imposing aura fully emerged. He stared into Yao Ren’s eyes, “If you ever come out again and cause trouble for Fu Wenshan, I’ll let you know what it’s like to be truly blacklisted.”

Xie Wanxing has never used his family background to coerce anyone since he entered the entertainment industry. All his current work has been earned through his own efforts.

But today, Yao Ren made him break that rule.

“If you understand, then get out of here.” Xie Wanxing glanced disdainfully at Yao Ren.

?

Even after Yao Ren left, the underground parking lot was so quiet that you could hear a pin drop.

Xie Wanxing looked down seriously, trying to find a hole to crawl into.

He had just sat in the car, listening to Yao Ren’s words, getting angrier as he listened.

This Yao Ren was just an ex, who actually dared to flirt with Fu Wenshen right in front of him.

Talking about it with such innocence, like a lost little white flower waiting for Fu Wenshen to rescue him.

He got out of the car in a fit of rage.

Now it was done. He had spoken harsh words, and not only had Yao Ren heard them, but Fu Wenshen had heard them too.

This time, even a blind man could see that he liked Fu Wenshen.

Xie Wanxing felt like dying a little.

He immediately tried to justify himself, though he couldn’t lift his head, “Don’t get me wrong, I just can’t stand seeing you being used for clout by such people. I was just trying to save face for you…

He sneered, “You’re also foolish, putting up with someone like that…”

He stopped there, feeling disheartened again. He enjoyed arguing, but Yao Ren had at least had a relationship with Fu Wenshen, even if it was in the most innocent and naive years.

And what was he?

Fu Wenshen couldn’t help but smile, his heart warming at Xie Wanxing’s tone.

Maybe he really was being foolish?

Xie Wanxing didn’t just like him a little.

Maybe he liked him a lot more than just a little.

He could see that although Xie Wanxing had never asked about his relationship with Yao Ren, he was probably deeply troubled by it.

Fu Wenshen’s lips couldn’t help but curl up.

He said to Xie Wanxing, “I wasn’t putting up with him, I just hadn’t had the chance to react yet. When you got out of the car, I was about to call the company’s security to throw him out.”

Xie Wanxing finally shifted his wandering gaze back to Fu Wenshen’s face. He didn’t say anything, but he felt a little happy inside.

“Have you had dinner?” Fu Wenshen asked softly.

Xie Wanxing shook his head.

Fu Wenshen walked over and took Xie Wanxing’s hand, “That’s perfect, let’s go eat. I’ll take you somewhere.”

Xie Wanxing didn’t resist and followed Fu Wenshen into his car.

With the world so big, eating was the most important thing.

Anyway, his dignity was already lost, so he might as well fill his stomach.

Wang Xiaoming, who was left in the car, looked puzzled after watching the whole scene, seeing his boss just follow Fu Wenshen like that.
