Chapter 160. Jurassic (14) The Mining Tyrannosaurus Rex

     Plesiosaurs, as the name suggests, are most notable for their necks, which are extremely long, resembling a giant python, accounting for more than four-fifths of their body length. The remaining less than one-fifth consists of a turtle-like flat body and short tail, as well as thick and slender fin-like limbs.

     Living year-round in the deep sea region of over 8,000 meters, one can easily guess from their size that these two plesiosaurs are quite formidable.

     The fin-like limbs of the two plesiosaurs act like oars, allowing their bodies to move freely forward, backward, and turn in all directions.      Ye Mo increased her speed.

     The tyrannosaurus rex’s swimming posture is far from perfect. Its pair of short forelimbs always instinctively paddle around, having very little effect. They might exist for the purpose of being cute and foolish (not really). Her propulsion in the ocean mainly relies on her powerful hind limbs and her tail, which constantly swings with small, high-frequency movements like a paddle. Her swimming speed is definitely far inferior to the marine overlords.

     Ye Mo wasn’t flustered. Every so often, she would leave behind the coordinates for space arrays, sometimes even taking detours to arrange the space arrays in a fan-shaped pattern with an equal diameter at another one or two locations centered around the battle.

     Space arrays in the ocean also required added waterproofing. Each space array coordinate was fueled by burning spirit stones or magic cores, and the potential for recovering these resources at the end was very limited.

     Even so, Ye Mo meticulously placed each space array, her heart aching with every resource spent, knowing they were vital to her survival.

      The speed of sound transmission in the deep sea is far greater than in air. Ye Mo, who had temporarily escaped and reappeared at another location, could still hear the clash of the Tylosaur upper and lower jaws across a great distance, followed by a roar that shook the seabed and stirred the ocean!

      The Tylosaur’s scales were a blend of black and blue, a testament to its water-ice affinity. With a thunderous roar, it transformed the surrounding seawater into a barrage of countless ice swords, indiscriminately attacking all creatures in the vicinity.

     Anger aside, the battle had to continue.

     The waves surged, and the six colossal creatures –the plesiosaurs couple, the pliosaur, the two tylosaurs, and the kronosaurus – were locked in a fierce battle

     Ye Mo always remembers that her core target is the Plesiosaur. At least the two Plesiosaurs must be separated. Only under this premise will she pay attention to the other deep-sea overlords that should not be underestimated.

     As long as there was an opportunity, she would appear around the battle center, delivering a fierce blow to a plesiosaur’s weak point, and then temporarily retreat from the battlefield, sometimes even having to provide a little support to the other dinosaurs.

     When the multicolored tyrannosaurus rex first appeared before the marine overlords, they were wary and surprised.      Terrestrial carnivorous dinosaurs are generally smaller than marine carnivorous dinosaurs, not to mention compared to herbivorous dinosaurs. Fortunately, the combat power of different dinosaur species cannot be judged by size alone. Only within the same species and attribute can size be used for comparison.

     Summary:

     The Five-Colored Tyrannosaurus Rex is, so far, the slowest-growing species of dinosaur among all three habitats: land, sea, and air.

     The plesiosaur’s outstretched giant head only managed to eat dirt, and its head slammed heavily onto the ground, causing another deep-sea earthquake. The nearby Kronosaurus and Pliosaur immediately seized the opportunity and joined forces.

     After three or four such attempts, Ye Mo, as expected, also had a mishap, unable to escape. With all her might, she veered to one side, opened her massive jaws, and bit down hard on the plesiosaur’s neck.

     The Tyrannosaurus’s head was still larger than the plesiosaur’s, and even though her size was smaller, her bite force was absolutely no less than these ocean overlords. With a snap, fine cracks appeared in the neck’s bones. Super high-energy blood entered her body, resisting the plesiosaur’s magical attacks.

     Ye Mo was reluctant to let go, but she knew this one bite wouldn’t kill the plesiosaur.

     At the most opportune moment, taking advantage of the other plesiosaur being entangled by the Kronosaurus and Pliosaurus, she leaped to the other side. Since the plesiosaur had been injured, the Tylosaur, being the closest, naturally went after the weaker one first, allowing her to escape once again, and plunging the plesiosaur into danger once more.

     Ye Mo continuously stirred into their territory, disrupting the dangerous situation. To emerge victorious as the ultimate winner, rash advances were ill-advised. Patience was key, the longer the drawn-out battle, the more advantageous it became for her.

     Gradually, with the exception of the Five-Colored Tyrannosaurus Rex, almost every dinosaur sustained significant injuries.

     Ye Mo remained unperturbed. When a plesiosaur’s final weakness was exposed during a battle with a Tylosaur, she instantly used spatial teleportation, using a weapon as a point of leverage, and precisely jumped in that direction.

     A plesiosaur collapsed in its struggle, its massive body forming a small mountain within the Thunder God Space.

     The tail’s ability to influence swimming speed in the sea is absolutely crucial and cannot be ignored.

     Ye Mo killed a plesiosaur, making the battles among the ocean’s overlords unpredictable. She didn’t side with anyone, maintaining a neutral stance, waiting for the opportune moment to swoop in and reap the benefits.

     Ye Mo not only acquired the energy of so many ocean overlords but also became the new owner of the water spirit jade and earth spirit jade mines.

     The water spirit jade is black, and the earth spirit jade is yellow. Both have a moist luster, and compared to gemstones and pearls, any creature can perceive and sense the spiritual energy surrounding them.

     Besides, she had Hawk Eye for company.

     The ocean was truly vast. Ye Mo initially thought she might spend the remaining time of this instance entirely at sea until she witnessed a chaotic battle in the waters around 1000 meters deep.
