Embers of Love A Military Rebirth Chapter 39

Chapter 39: Wedding Night

Back in Yuhu Village, they first went to the educated youth point and called Tang’s family to come to Song’s house for dinner.

Originally, they were supposed to wait until the third day after the wedding to go back, but Tang Mu’s vacation was limited, and he had to drive his parents back to Beijing and then back to the army.

They needed to leave time to sleep in a guesthouse at night, so Tang’s father decided to leave early.

Knowing that the in-laws would come over for dinner that night, Song’s mother had specially reserved a table when preparing the meal for the banquet.

“In-law, I’m entrusting Xiaoxiao to you from now on.” Tang’s mother held Song’s mother’s hand and said with a smile.

“Xiaoxiao is a good girl. Don’t worry, in-law, I will treat her like my own daughter.”

Over there, Song’s father and Tang’s father were drinking and chatting, already calling each other brothers.

Song Jingzhi accompanied his father-in-law for a couple of drinks, but Tang Mu was not allowed to drink anymore by Tang’s mother because he had to drive the next day.

After dinner, Song Jingzhi sent Tang’s family back to the educated youth point and chatted with his father-in-law and mother-in-law for a while.

When he came back, Tang Xiaoxiao was in the room, facing the mirror, taking out the hair clips from her hair.

Two large red candles were lit on the desk, prepared by Song’s mother.

She had changed out of her daytime clothes and into a pink pajamas, clearly having taken a shower.

The red candlelight made her already charming features even more radiant, like a rose blooming in the night sky.

Song Jingzhi’s eyes flickered. He walked over, wrapped his arms around her from behind, and rested his chin on her neck.

“Wife.”

“Hmm.”

“Wifey.”

“Hmm.”

“I’m going to take a shower.” He whispered in her ear, then released her and turned to leave the room.

Tang Xiaoxiao watched him leave, her cheeks flushed.

After combing her hair, she quickly got into bed. It was her first wedding night in two lifetimes, and it was impossible to say she wasn’t nervous.

Her heart was pounding, as if it was about to jump out of her chest.

Not long after, the door opened. She unconsciously looked up. Song Jingzhi was topless, wiping his hair.

He was tall and slender, with well-proportioned muscles, eight-pack abs protruding, his lines smooth and handsome.

He saw Tang Xiaoxiao’s gaze fall on him, and he curled his lips, revealing a mischievous smile.

“Now you know I have abs?” He raised an eyebrow at her, walked to the bed, and lifted the covers.

“I think I forgot to put on my lotion.” She pretended to get up, nervous. What if she wanted to escape?

“You already put it on, I smelled it just now, it’s very fragrant.” His voice was magnetic, he leaned down and trapped her on the bed, lowering his head to kiss her lips.

Tang Xiaoxiao’s head buzzed, she felt like her whole body was floating, she couldn’t help but cooperate with him.

Although she hadn’t drunk, she felt like she was drunk, her hand unconsciously touched his abs.

Her touch was like a fuse, igniting the last bit of his reason.

He suddenly clasped the back of her head, deepening the kiss.

His breathing was rapid, and she was panting.

Gradually, they fell onto the bed, her body curled slightly, his big hand stroking her waist.

“Xiaoxiao.” His voice was husky, low and magnetic, making her bones melt.

Tang Xiaoxiao’s face flushed, she opened her eyes and saw his dark pupils, the color as deep as unmelted ink.

“I love you!” As soon as he finished speaking, his lips landed on her lips again.

Tang Xiaoxiao felt like her body was about to burn up, she couldn’t help but reach out and wrap her arms around his neck, responding to his kiss.

Song Jingzhi’s kiss became more and more intense, his big hand gently stroked her back through the fabric, sending shivers down her spine.

The two buttons on her pajamas had been unbuttoned at some point, revealing her white skin and delicate collarbone.

His movements became wilder, kissing her, kissing her lips, kissing her nose, her face.

Tang Xiaoxiao felt her whole body burning up, she didn’t know what to do, her hands could only cling to his back, letting him do as he pleased.

“Wife, call me husband.” His voice was husky and seductive, with a hypnotic magic.

“Husband…” she called out softly, her cheeks burning, her heart racing.

“Wife.” He whispered in her ear.

“Husband, husband…” she continued to call out.

He said in a husky voice, “Wife, you’re a vixen.”

After saying that, he pressed her down under him, using his actions to prove his strength.

Tang Xiaoxiao felt like she was being electrocuted under his teasing, her body couldn’t stop trembling.

“Ugh…” Her voice was intermittent.

His movements became more and more frantic, she only felt a wave of dizziness coming over her.

She finally couldn’t take it anymore and fainted.

Seeing her faint, Song Jingzhi stopped. He lay beside her, looking at her sleeping face, a doting smile appeared on his face.

In the middle of the night, Tang Xiaoxiao was woken up by an itch, because she felt something crawling on her face.

She opened her eyes drowsily and saw Song Jingzhi’s handsome face magnified before her.

A faint smile played on his lips, his dark eyes fixed on her.

Tang Xiaoxiao instantly became more alert. She pushed him with her hand, “You didn’t sleep at all, did you?”

Song Jingzhi’s arm wrapped around her waist, “I’ve been waiting for you to wake up.”

“…” What did that mean?

Before she could ask, his big hand caressed her waist, moving upwards.

“I heard a phrase before.”

“What?” she asked, not immediately understanding.

“Once you taste the marrow, you know the flavor.” After saying that, he leaned down and kissed her lips.

Tang Xiaoxiao was startled, then she understood what he meant.

This man was really…

His kiss went from a light touch to a deep one, she felt her body become uncontrollable.

Song Jingzhi’s fingers went into her hair, pressing her head towards him.

Their breaths mingled, their lips and tongues intertwined, unwilling to let go of each other.

His breathing became more and more rapid, Tang Xiaoxiao’s head buzzed, her whole body felt like she was thrown into the clouds.

The large red candles on the desk emitted a red glow, the young couple on the bed intertwined.

A room full of ripples…

The next morning, Tang Xiaoxiao was woken up by Song Jingzhi.

Looking at the man who was already dressed and smiling at her, she was furious.

She was still sleepy. This man had tossed and turned with her for half the night, and he was standing here so energetic.

“Get up, okay? After breakfast, we have to go see off your father, mother, and brother.” He leaned down and kissed her lips.

“Oh no, oh no, I still have to make breakfast.” She woke up abruptly when she heard that.

Many places have the custom of the new bride making breakfast.

“Don’t worry, Mom has already made breakfast. We don’t have those old rules in our family.” Song Jingzhi helped her up and put her cotton coat on her.
