“Like teddy bears?” Fu Yunshang glanced at Song Xi’s coat and continued to ask.
“I love them!” Regardless of why Fu Yunshang suddenly changed his attitude 180 degrees towards her, even if ahead was a mountain of knives and a sea of flames, Song Xi would willingly jump in!
“Get her one of every color on the display,” Fu Yunshang continued to instruct casually.
“Yes,” Shen Chuan replied.
Song Xi gasped, feeling so happy she was about to faint.
A teddy bear coat costs at least over 30,000, and limited editions are even more expensive! Getting one of each color… Song Xi couldn’t calculate it anymore; she was already overwhelmed by happiness.
“What else do you want?” Fu Yunshang asked her.
“Well… a few classic MaxMara coats…” Song Xi thought for a moment and spoke cautiously.
These were essential winter items, and even models with annual salaries of several million could only afford one or two after gritting their teeth for a year.
Occasionally, someone would wear a limited edition item to a show, and everyone would know that their sugar daddy was fawning over them.
Song Xi couldn’t imagine how much face she would have if she wore these clothes to work, and every day was a different color of the same style!
“Buy whatever you like,” Fu Yunshang replied casually.
Song Xi fell silent, afraid that if she asked for more, Fu Yunshang would change his mind and go back on his word.
Buying all these clothes would cost at most two or three million. Fu Yunshang had just taken her to pick up a pink Ferrari this morning, worth four million, plus that Cartier Custom Six Carat Bull Head Diamond Necklace, Fu Yunshang had spent at least twenty million on her in one day!
And this money was just a drop in the bucket for the man next to her. In the past, she wouldn’t have dared to imagine what it would feel like to spend twenty million in a day!
Moreover, it wasn’t anything of lasting value like real estate or a gold mine.
Although happy, Song Xi was still clear-headed. This money seemed to be spent on her, but it was actually for Qin Buwan, to keep her quiet.
For that niece-in-law, Fu Yunshang was throwing money around like water without even batting an eye.
It was clear how important Qin Buwan was in his heart.
“Remember clearly what you promised me. Otherwise, I have ways to make you blind and deaf,” Fu Yunshang said casually next to her.
He spoke as if he were just saying the weather was nice today.
Song Xi shuddered and remained silent.
“Thank you, Master Fu, I’m home,” Song Xi said gratefully to Fu Yunshang a few seconds later, looking at the familiar street scene outside.
Fu Yunshang glanced at the apartment complex gate, an old complex with at least twenty years of history.
Song Xi got out of the car, bent slightly, leaned into Fu Yunshang’s car window, and smiled sweetly: “See you at the event this weekend.”
Fu Yunshang glanced at her and said, “Starting next month, you’ll live in my Jinmao Residence apartment in the city center.”
“!” Song Xi’s eyes widened.
A Jinmao Residence apartment, the Jinmao Residence that costs 300,000 per square meter?!
“It’s not a gift to you, don’t get any ideas,” Fu Yunshang frowned and said, “Move out by the end of next year.”
“Oh,” Song Xi nodded.
Being able to enjoy living in a mansion worth hundreds of millions for a year was already a great blessing.
“Then I’ll start packing tonight.” Song Xi counted on her fingers, and there were still five days until the end of the month.
She couldn’t imagine how wonderful it would be to have a full set of MaxMara coats displayed in her 100-square-meter walk-in closet.
Her own home was only a little over 100 square meters. Anyone who could afford a 100-square-meter apartment within the inner ring of City A was considered wealthy.
She turned and walked into the night, skipping happily into the residential area.
Fu Yunshang stared at her back expressionlessly for a while.
Song Xi was certainly beautiful. She was a pretty face with brains, but her background was lacking. She had never experienced what the old money circles of City A were like, so she was easy to coax.
Qin Buwan, the famous beauty comparable to Song Xi, was born into a wealthy family. After the age of sixteen, her world was all sugar-coated. Without money, power, or background, it could be said that her starting point was already Song Xi’s destination.
However, precisely because her starting point was too high, the fall would be even more devastating.
Fu Yunshang suddenly remembered that night three days ago when Qin Buwan was about to kneel before him for 300,000.
For women like Song Xi, 300,000 was just the price of a few sweet words to please a man.
He coldly withdrew his gaze from Song Xi’s back and said loudly to Shen Chuan: “Let’s go.”
“Master, I don’t understand,” Shen Chuan couldn’t help but say as he started the car.
Although Fu Yunshang was generous to every romantic interest, the gifts he prepared were almost identical. What he was giving Song Xi today was different.
“Why are you giving Miss Song so many valuable things? Are you really moved by her?”
“You’ll understand soon,” Fu Yunshang replied casually without any explanation.
…
Xu Manor.
In the old lady’s room.
After resting for a while and taking a bath, Qin Buwan had calmed down. She sat silently in front of the old lady, while Xu Nanhe’s face next to her was extremely pale.
The old lady looked back and forth between the two of them for a few times, sighed, and said: “Did you quarrel so fiercely this time?”
She still understood Qin Buwan. Unless Xu Nanhe had really broken her heart, she would not be unwilling to forgive.
She stretched her hand towards Aunt Su, Aunt Su handed over a brocade box. The old lady opened it and handed the contents to Qin Buwan: “Nanhe picked it up himself last night. You really don’t want it?”
Qin Buwan glanced at it, it was the engagement ring she had thrown away.
“I naturally don’t want the trash I threw away,” she smiled and replied.
Xu Nanhe next to her looked down at her, the emotions in his eyes churning.
“That’s natural, she’s climbing up the social ladder.” After a few seconds, Xu Nanhe sneered: “Qin Buwan, I didn’t know you were this kind of person before.”
“I don’t need you to define what kind of person I am,” Qin Buwan retorted without thinking: “You also didn’t know I would be so kind-hearted!”
The Xu family’s old lady immediately scolded Xu Nanhe: “What nonsense are you talking about! What social ladder is higher than our Xu family? It’s okay to quarrel, but you are not allowed to insult Buwan like this!”
Xu Nanhe sneered even more: “Ask her yourself.”
When did she get together with Fu Yunshang, and he was completely unaware.
More than ten years of relationship, she said change and it changed, and she still had the face to accuse him?
The Xu family’s old lady looked at Qin Buwan. Before Qin Buwan could speak, she said: “I believe Buwan.”
The Xu family’s old lady knew that Fu Yunshang had caused a commotion at the Xu family in the middle of the night with Song Xi. Song Xi said that she couldn’t stand seeing Xu Nanhe bullying a young woman, so she asked Fu Yunshang to force his way in.
It sounded like there was nothing wrong with their reasons.
She thought about it, and said loudly to Aunt Su next to her: “Aunt Su, bring me your phone.”
Aunt Su had been with her for decades and knew what she wanted to do. She tacitly found a number in her address book, dialed it, pressed the speakerphone, and handed it to the old lady.
