Chapter 24 Little White Flower Chu Yunxi
Su Xiwan looked at her grateful teacher and said:
“Teacher, I have mentioned to you before that I also know medical skills in the metaphysical field. For illnesses that hospitals cannot solve, maybe I can. For Tian Tian’s illness, I dare not say I can cure it one hundred percent, but I am eighty percent sure.
If you believe me, you can contact me anytime. Just one phone call from the teacher, and I will come!”
In fact, Su Xiwan is quite confident in treating Tian Tian’s illness, but she is only in her teens, and Tian Tian is the teacher’s only child. Su Xiwan can guess that any mother would not entrust her child’s life to an eighteen-year-old girl.
So Su Xiwan does not want to trouble the teacher. She wants to help Tian Tian as a way to thank the teacher for taking care of her. If the teacher contacts her in the future, she will do her best. If the teacher still does not believe in her in the end, then she has no choice.
So Su Xiwan stayed in the ward, accompanying the teacher and Tian Tian for a while. Before leaving the hospital, Su Xiwan gave the teacher a few health talismans and recovery talismans.
Health talismans and recovery talismans are very effective for minor ailments or small wounds. However, for serious illnesses like Tian Tian’s, they can only alleviate some pain.
After leaving the hospital, Su Xiwan went to the supermarket to buy some food. Before she could reach home, she received a call from Ji Hangyi, saying that the cutting machine and carving knife had arrived.
With the cutting machine, Su Xiwan could start carving. She wanted to make these talismans earlier. She also thought of making another trip to the deep mountains before the university started, as the spiritual energy there was abundant. She could cultivate while making pills.
However, carving talismans with jade was not as simple as she imagined, maybe because it was her first time using jade for carving and she was not skilled. It took Su Xiwan a whole afternoon to make the first talisman.
Fortunately, she became more proficient with her speed later on. The only downside was that the spiritual energy could not keep up. After all, she needed to infuse spiritual energy into the talismans to make them work at their best.
So these days, Su Xiwan kept meditating to absorb the spiritual energy from the heavens and earth, and then used the spiritual energy to carve the talismans. She was completely immersed in carving talismans and did not go anywhere.
Mu Family
Today is Monday, so everyone in the Mu family woke up early, as they had work and school to attend.
When they gathered at the dining table to prepare for the meal, they heard Mu Jinghao’s surprised voice:
“Big brother, didn’t you have the day off from the military today? Why are you still up so early?”
Mu Jincheng glanced at Mu Jinghao and said calmly, “I have something to take care of later!”
“You brat, do you think everyone is like you? Even when your big brother is at home, how many times have you seen him sleep in?” Mu Hongye, on the side, scolded his son in a rough voice. Seeing Mu Jinghao’s sleepy appearance, he knew the boy must have stayed up late playing games again.
Mu Patriarch sat at the head of the table, seeing Mu Jincheng’s slightly eager look, he already had a rough idea of what he was going to do.
After Mu Jincheng came back a few days ago, he briefly mentioned to everyone about him and Mu Hongtao looking for Su Xiwan. It had been a day since then, so the results should be coming out soon.
Mu Patriarch couldn’t help but sigh in his heart. Over the years, they had put in a lot of effort to find their granddaughter, but they had faced a lot of disappointment. So he dared not hope for this matter anymore. However, thinking of the dazzling girl he saw on TV that day, he couldn’t help but feel a glimmer of hope.
That girl was so beautiful and dazzling. If she really was their granddaughter, he could show off in front of those old men.
Mu Patriarch looked at Mu Jincheng and said, “Call me when you get the results.”
Mu Jincheng nodded solemnly at his grandfather’s words. Then he quickly finished his breakfast, said goodbye to his grandfather, and left the house for the parking lot.
At this time, everyone in the Mu family could roughly guess what Mu Jincheng was going to do. However, they had seen so many times of hope followed by disappointment over the years, so they had lost their initial excitement and anticipation.
On the other side, at the same dining table, Chu Yunxi couldn’t help but clench her hand under the table. Then, recalling Mrs. Chu’s words, her clenched fist slowly relaxed.
Her grandmother said that the girl grew up in Beijing, so she couldn’t be the missing child of the Mu family. She didn’t know why her grandmother was so sure, but she knew that it wouldn’t be wrong to listen to her grandmother.
After the elders of the Mu family finished their breakfast and left the dining room, Chu Yunxi looked at the remaining young members in the dining room. She deliberately acted sad and worried, sitting there in a daze.
Chu Yunxi’s unusual behavior finally caught the attention of others. Mu Jinghan, the youngest of the Mu family, asked curiously, “Sister Yunxi, what’s wrong with you? Why aren’t you eating?”
Mu Jinghao, who was sitting next to Chu Yunxi, followed up, “Yeah, Yunxi, what’s wrong with you?”
Chu Yunxi hesitated for a moment, looking at Mu Jinghan, then at Mu Jinghao on the other side. Then, seeing everyone else looking at her with concern, she finally seemed to make a decision and said, “I… I’m fine, it’s just that it would be great if the missing sister from Uncle’s family is found. Then, I can go back to the Chu family. It’s just… I will miss all of you brothers and Jinghan.”
As she spoke, Chu Yunxi’s eyes turned red, and tears welled up in them. She blinked slightly, and the tears immediately rolled down her cheeks.
Seeing Chu Yunxi’s appearance, everyone felt heartbroken. Among the young members of the Mu family present, they all loved Chu Yunxi dearly. In fact, in the entire Mu family, only Mu Hongtao and his wife, as well as Mu Jincheng, treated Chu Yunxi coldly. Everyone else treated her very well. After all, the Mu family had no daughters, and Chu Yunxi was the only little girl in the family, so she naturally received more love.
Even Mu Hongtao and his wife’s other son, Mu Jingyu, treated Chu Yunxi like a real sister. He seemed to have poured all the love he had for his missing sister onto Chu Yunxi.
Everyone had gotten used to pampering Chu Yunxi, so they couldn’t bear to see her suffer any injustice.
The youngest, Mu Jinghan, seeing Chu Yunxi’s tears constantly falling, quickly took out a tissue to wipe them away. “Sister Yunxi, don’t cry. Who told you that you have to go back to the Chu family? You’ve grown up in this family since you were little, this is your home. Who dares to drive you away?
Are you worried about your Uncle’s missing sister coming back and driving you away? I tell you, Sister Yunxi, even if she comes back, what does it matter? You’ve been in this family for eighteen years. In this family, no one can shake your position.”
“Yes, Yunxi, you are a part of this family. No matter who comes, you are our sister.
Besides, Big brother just went to get the results of the paternity test. It’s not certain if that girl is a member of the Mu family.”
Everyone else nodded in agreement with Mu Jinghan and Mu Jinghao’s words.
