Chapter 42 Helping Tiantian Relieve his Condition

Fang Qinghui was thinking, when Su Miaowen saw her mother in a daze, she hesitated and called out:

“Mom? Are you alright?”

Su Miaowen’s words brought Fang Qinghui back to reality. Fang Qinghui raised her eyes, looking at her daughter’s worried expression, reached out and patted her daughter’s shoulder, then sighed and said:

“Ai, Miaowen, I’m thinking, maybe our family’s Feng Shui is really bad, so we’ve been having so many bad things happening recently!”

Upon hearing Fang Qinghui’s words, Su Miaowen’s face instantly turned pale, a hint of panic flashing in her eyes. She hurriedly said:

“I… Mom, you wouldn’t really believe what Su Xiwan said, thinking that all this is because I returned to the Su family?

Mom, then… then I’ll leave the Su family. Maybe then, Dad and Mom won’t have so many bad things happening.”

Su Miaowen said, but she was afraid that Fang Qinghui would really agree to her words, so she quickly continued:

“But Mom, my relationship with Gu Zhixun is going well recently. Can I go say goodbye to Gu Zhixun before I leave?”

Fang Qinghui was surprised to hear her daughter’s words. Although she had some doubts about Feng Shui, she had never blamed her daughter for the Su family’s recent misfortunes.

So Fang Qinghui quickly stepped forward to comfort her daughter:

“You silly child, you must have taken that bitch’s words to heart?”

Upon hearing Fang Qinghui’s words, Su Miaowen pretended to nod aggrievedly, her eyes welling up with tears.

Fang Qinghui looked at her daughter and then tho ught about her cautious behavior at home recently, feeling a pang of sympathy. She said gently:

“Miaowen, Dad and Mom would never doubt you because of that Su Xiwan. Don’t take everything upon yourself, okay?”

Hearing Fang Qinghui’s words, Su Miaowen felt as if she had found an outlet for the suppressed emotions she had been experiencing lately.

Her tears instantly started rolling down her cheeks, she threw herself into Fang Qinghui’s arms, and cried out loud.

She had been very cautious at the Su family recently, trying to minimize her presence and constantly racking her brains to figure out how to prove her value to the Su family.

She was afraid that her biological parents would kick her out of the house because of the Su family’s recent string of bad luck.

So she used some of the tactics she had learned in society on Gu Zhixun. Now, she had broken through the final barrier with Gu Zhixun, and Gu Zhixun was also very good to her.

Actually, she had been planning to take things slowly, but the events that had happened at the Su family these past few days forced her to put these things on the agenda.

She was now full of hope that her relationship with Gu Zhixun would develop steadily until they got engaged and married.

After all, the Gu family’s status was even better than the Su family. As long as she could marry into the Gu family, would she still be afraid of her parents abandoning her?

Thinking about this, a determined gleam appeared in Su Miaowen’s eyes.

———

Mu Xiwan arrived at Tiantian’s ward. Besides Tiantian and Teacher Zhang, Tiantian’s grandmother was also there.

Mu Xiwan politely greeted Teacher Zhang and Tiantian’s grandmother, then turned her attention to Tiantian.

When Mu Xiwan saw Tiantian, she was startled. It had only been a few days, but Tiantian had lost a lot of weight. His originally chubby face had become thinner, and his big eyes looked even more prominent.

Upon seeing Mu Xiwan, Tiantian immediately pouted his lips and said in a somewhat aggrieved tone:

“Sister Wanwan, Tiantian feels very uncomfortable. Can you save Tiantian?”

At that moment, Tiantian’s thin face, his big eyes were full of hope, looking directly at Mu Xiwan.

Seeing Tiantian like this, Mu Xiwan couldn’t help but feel a pang of pity. She was about to say something, when she heard Tiantian’s grandmother say to Teacher Zhang:

“Is this the master you mentioned? She’s too young. No, we can’t put Tiantian’s life in the hands of this little girl!”

Actually, Tiantian’s grandmother and Teacher Zhang were speaking in low voices, but Mu Xiwan’s hearing was very sharp, and she heard Tiantian’s grandmother’s words clearly.

Mu Xiwan sighed inwardly. She couldn’t do anything if Tiantian’s family didn’t cooperate. Looking at Tiantian, who was still waiting for her reply, she stroked his forehead and said softly:

“Then sister will help you relieve your discomfort first. When you feel better, you have to eat well, okay? Only by eating well can you save your energy to fight the little monsters, okay?”

Teacher Zhang heard Mu Xiwan’s words and quickly walked over and said:

“Xiwan, Tiantian just started using chemotherapy drugs these past two days, but for some reason, he reacts very badly to the chemotherapy drugs!

The talismans you gave last time can reduce his pain, but the chemotherapy reaction makes him uncomfortable and he can’t eat!”

Mu Xiwan nodded after listening to Teacher Zhang. She said to Teacher Zhang:

“My talismans can relieve the pain caused by the illness, but they don’t work on drug reactions!

I’ll relieve Tiantian’s symptoms first, so he won’t be so uncomfortable for now. Do you think that’s okay?”

Tiantian’s grandmother, who was standing by, heard Mu Xiwan’s words and was about to say something, but Teacher Zhang quickly stopped her.

Teacher Zhang trusted Mu Xiwan, so she smiled and said to Mu Xiwan:

“Xiwan, I’m going to have to trouble you again! Also, Xiwan, you can take a look at the talismans you gave last time, and the cost of this treatment, I’ll transfer it to you on my phone later.”

Mu Xiwan smiled and said, “Teacher Zhang, those talismans were gifts for Tiantian. As for the treatment cost, no rush, we can talk about it later.”

Mu Xiwan had a feeling that Teacher Zhang would be looking for her again.

Teacher Zhang thought to herself, “Later is fine.” She did believe in Mu Xiwan’s medical skills, but Tiantian’s condition was serious, and she couldn’t completely trust Tiantian to Mu Xiwan. After all, she couldn’t have any more children, and Tiantian was her only son for the rest of her life.

Without hesitation, Mu Xiwan stretched out her hand, gently placed it on Tiantian’s chest, and slowly infused some spiritual energy into his body. This spiritual energy was pure and gentle, and it could help Tiantian relieve his discomfort for a few days.

After Mu Xiwan withdrew her hand, Tiantian said in surprise:

“Sister Wanwan, I actually feel warm and comfortable in my chest. Thank you, sister. I don’t feel uncomfortable anymore!”

Tiantian’s grandmother was also surprised to hear Tiantian’s words, but she didn’t fully believe that it was the little girl’s merit.

She muttered to herself, “It must be that the effects of the chemotherapy drugs have worn off, so Tiantian doesn’t feel uncomfortable anymore.”

Teacher Zhang saw that her son’s tightly furrowed brows had now relaxed, and a joyful smile appeared on her face. She quickly walked towards Mu Xiwan and said:

“Wanwan, thank you so much!”

Mu Xiwan looked at Teacher Zhang, who was looking at her with gratitude, and said a little embarrassedly:

“Teacher Zhang, it’s nothing. I just helped Tiantian relieve his discomfort for these few days, hoping to help him get through this most difficult chemotherapy cycle.”

“Mom, I’m hungry. I want to eat!” Tiantian, who was no longer experiencing the drug reaction, felt hungry for the first time in days, as he hadn’t eaten properly in a while.

“Ai, ai, grandma will go buy you some food now!” Before Teacher Zhang could speak, Tiantian’s grandmother quickly said, and then she eagerly pushed open the ward door to go buy some food for her grandson.
