Chapter 6
“Qingwan, it’s me.” A familiar female voice sounded outside the door.
Song Qingwan was stunned for a moment, then stood up and opened the door.
“Cousin, it’s so late, do you have something to talk to me about?” Song Qingwan said calmly.
Seeing her calm face, Song Zhaodi, who was standing outside the door, was unsure for a moment. How much did she remember about what happened last night?
“Is it convenient for me to come in?” Song Zhaodi raised her chin and pointed inside the house.
“Of course.” Song Qingwan moved aside. She also wanted to find out why Song Zhaodi came to her at this time.
After letting Song Zhaodi into the house, Song Qingwan casually closed the door, leaving a gap of half a meter wide.
In case a conflict occurs between the two in the room, the parents in the opposite room can arrive first.
Song Zhaodi looked around the room, and when her eyes fell on the exquisite and small dressing table, a hint of envy flashed in her eyes.
“Qingwan, actually you don’t have to marry him. After all, you didn’t make any substantial progress last night.” Song Zhaodi advised.
Secretly, she really didn’t want the Song family to split up.
Because the only one who can earn money in the Song family is the second wife, Song Zhen. If she wants to study and go to college, she will have to spend money on many things.
Song Qingwan’s eyes flickered slightly, “How did cousin know that? We don’t have it?”
“Of course I know…” Song Zhaodi seemed to have suddenly realized something, and her face changed color instantly, “What? I don’t believe it!”
Song Zhaodi’s knees went weak and she barely managed to sit down in front of the dressing table.
Song Qingwan felt that there was nothing much to explain about this matter. It was a matter of mutual consent.
“Impossible! How is this possible?” Song Zhaodi muttered to herself, as if possessed by a demon. “Then what was I in my previous life?”
The man she had tried so hard to win over all her life but still couldn’t, Song Qingwan easily won over in just one night?
Song Qingwan sat down on the edge of the bed and looked at her cousin with sympathy. As expected, there must be something pitiful about a hateful person!
But this cannot be a reason for her to push herself into the fire pit as soon as she was reborn!
Suddenly, there was a flash of light near the door, and Song Qingwan noticed from the corner of her eye that there was an extra figure at the door.
She didn’t need to guess to know that Jiang Chunlan must have heard the noise here and was worried, so she came over quietly to see what was going on.
Song Zhaodi was still immersed in the intertwined memories of her two lives. With her back to the door, she did not notice that there was an extra person outside.
Song Qingwan’s eyes rolled and a plan came to her mind.
“Cousin, why did you get me drunk and carry me to Lu Zheng’s bullpen last night?”
“Isn’t Lu Zheng your sweetheart?”
“You went through so much trouble to get Lu Zheng to drink the drugged water you put in it, but I got the advantage. Are you willing to accept that?”
Song Qingwan’s three consecutive questions stunned the two people inside and outside the room.
Jiang Chunlan stood outside the door and almost rushed in.
Even though Song Zhaodi was mentally prepared, she did not expect that her usually silly cousin actually knew everything.
Song Zhaodi looked at her with complicated eyes, “So what if I’m unwilling? I regret it!”
Seeing that she knew the truth clearly but did not report it in broad daylight, Song Zhaodi guessed that she was not going to reveal the truth of the matter.
So, I just admitted it.
“Although we are cousins, I am not as good as you.” Song Zhaodi said jealously.
“You are good-looking, and you are loved by your uncle and aunt, and protected by your brother. No matter what bad situation you encounter, there will be someone to support you.”
“I’m different. I have no way out. If I have to do it again, I will never make the wrong choice again!”
Jiang Chunlan, who was outside the door, couldn’t bear it anymore and rushed in like crazy.
She first grabbed Song Zhaodi’s hair, then strangled her neck tightly. Her usually gentle face became almost ferocious.
“So it’s you! It’s you who killed my Qingwan!”
Song Zhaodi was caught off guard and fell into a passive position.
When she reacted, her face turned pale with fear, “Second Aunt?”
“Bah! Who is your second aunt! You black-hearted beast!” Jiang Chunlan raised her hand and slapped him in the face, using all her strength.
Song Qingwan was frightened. She didn’t expect that her usually gentle mother could be so strong in fighting ability and would do things as soon as she said so!
When she came to her senses, Jiang Chunlan had already dragged Song Zhaodi outside, and the sound of Song Zhaodi howling like a ghost could be heard from the yard.
“Help! Murder!”
Song Qingwan hurriedly followed him out and picked up the carrying pole as she passed under the corridor.
Mother and daughter soldiers go into battle, and we must not let our mother suffer any loss tonight!
The noise in the yard soon woke up the whole family, and even the neighbor’s dog started barking.
Soon, the barking of dogs in Qingxi Village became one after another.
“What are you still doing in the middle of the night?” Old Mrs. Song came out, draped over her clothes and cursing.
Under the moonlight, as soon as she saw the situation in the yard clearly, Old Lady Song was frightened by the murderous look of her second daughter-in-law.
He immediately trotted back to his room, “Old man, this is bad! The second son’s wife wants to kill Zhaodi!”
Jiang Chunlan, filled with resentment, suppressed Song Zhaodi.
Before everyone arrived, he slapped him again.
When the Song family arrived and finally separated the two, Jiang Chunlan was already exhausted and out of breath.
Song Zhaodi’s face was so swollen that it was unsightly. There was blood at the corner of her mouth and she couldn’t speak clearly.
“Jiang Chunlan, you are crazy!” Song Tieniu, the head of the family, stomped his feet on the steps of the main house.
Xu Xiu Lian from the first wife’s house began to roll up her sleeves, ready to rush up and fight at any time.
But fearing the threat of the carrying pole in Song Qingwan’s hand, he hesitated to act and just jumped up and down and cursed.
“Jiang Chunlan! I’m going to fight you!”
“Why are you taking it out on my daughter when your own daughter did something shameful?”
Everyone stared at the mother and daughter, hoping she could give an explanation.
“Yinsheng, what’s going on?” Song Jinsheng’s expression was extremely ugly. “Even if you want to split up the family, there’s no need to make the whole family restless!”
Although Song Yinsheng didn’t know what happened, he saw his wife in his arms was furious, and he stiffened his neck and shouted:
“Is that even a question?”
“Look how angry Chunlan is! Zhaodi must have done something wrong!”
When Song Yinsheng said this, all the Song family members present were speechless.
However, this is not the end yet. Song Yinsheng thought about the incident just now, which broke out in his daughter’s room, and combined with a series of events today.
“Song Zhaodi, I have a question for you!”
“Qingwan, was this a good thing you did?”
Song Zhaodi had already been beaten dizzy and dazed, and she only blamed herself for accidentally letting the cat out of the bag.
Seeing his uncle pressing him, he quickly shook his head and denied it, saying incoherently, “It’s not me, it has nothing to do with me!”
Seeing that her mother was so angry that she was about to stand up and tell the truth, Song Qingwan quickly grabbed her.
Then he leaned close to his mother’s ear and whispered something.
Jiang Chunlan was puzzled at first, but gradually, a confident look appeared on her face.
Without waiting for everyone to react, Jiang Chunlan rushed towards Song Zhaodi’s room.
Song Zhaodi panicked as soon as she saw that something was wrong and started to chase him. “Well, what are you doing?”
Song Qingwan held the carrying pole in her hand and blocked the way. She said in a clear voice, “Cousin, you are the one who caused the disaster, but you want me to take the blame. Isn’t that inappropriate?”
