Chapter 103: Do it Yourself
Su Yin raised her knife and cut off the ropes that bound them, freeing everyone.
When it was the middle-aged man’s turn, the man stared intently at Su Yin.
Su Yin looked at him warily and stopped moving her hands.
The middle-aged man said excitedly to Su Yin: “Little girl, don’t you recognize me? It’s me, Shopkeeper Li of Dongtu County Pharmacy.”
Shopkeeper Li of the pharmacy!
Su Yin naturally knew this person.
When she was preparing supplies to escape the famine, she had visited his pharmacy to buy a lot of medicine.
He had enthusiastically told her about the customs and traditions of other places in the Yong Dynasty.
“It turns out to be Shopkeeper Li.” Su Yin carefully looked at the middle-aged man, who looked like a homeless person.
If she hadn’t looked closely, she wouldn’t have recognized him.
They had only met a few times, so if he hadn’t mentioned it specifically, she wouldn’t have noticed.
“Yes, yes, it’s me, it’s me.” Shopkeeper Li was very excited.
Su Yin immediately untied his rope.
The woman and a five-year-old boy huddled behind Shopkeeper Li were revealed.
Shopkeeper Li introduced: “This is my wife and son.”
Su Yin looked at his wife and children. Although they were also embarrassed, they were much better off than Shopkeeper Li, especially his wife, who was in the same position as the other women in the cave.
Compared to them, there was a world of difference.
“This is not the place to talk. Let’s go outside first.”
“Okay.”
After Shopkeeper Li calmed down, he got up and left with his wife and children.
The four women in the cave also came out together.
As soon as they stepped outside the cave, several people instinctively raised their hands to shield their eyes from the blinding light, allowing their pupils to gradually adjust to the brightness.
Shopkeeper Li closed his eyes, took a few deep breaths of fresh air, and tears welled up in his eyes.
“I haven’t smelled such good air in a long time,” he said.
Thinking back to the stench inside the cave, he vowed never to experience it again.
Su Yin kicked open several thatched huts, found some clothes inside, and handed them to the four women.
“Put these on first,” she instructed.
The four women carefully accepted the clothes and timidly thanked her, “Thank you.”
Su Yin led them back to the front, where Yang Dashan and the others had already begun tending to the wounds.
Shopkeeper Li and the four women saw the demons bound and busy. Their eyes were filled with hatred, but none dared to approach.
This was an instinctive reaction born from years of oppression.
Suddenly, a thin woman with an oval face knelt before Su Yin and kowtowed.
“What are you…get up quickly,” Su Yin hurriedly tried to help her up.
The thin woman shook her head and said, “Please avenge us and kill these demons. They are not human.”
As soon as the woman spoke, it was as if a switch had been flipped, and the other three women followed suit, kneeling down.
“Please kill them.”
“These people killed my son. They… they… boiled my son.”
The woman burst into tears.
These people had held her down and forced her to watch her son being raped by them…
“These beasts are not human beings.”
“My husband-in-law, parents-in-law, and brother-in-law were all killed by them. My children also…” Another woman cried.
They had already guessed what these people had done, but after hearing the victims’ stories with their own ears, they felt differently.
The eldest son of the Zhang family and Zhou Youcai are both parents of children and can best understand that feeling.
They looked at these gangsters with murderous intent in their eyes.
They counted the crimes committed by these people one by one, and none of them could escape the eighteenth level of hell.
Shopkeeper Li then spoke, “What they said is correct. These people cannot be called human beings.”
He couldn’t help but feel grateful that his ability had protected his wife and children.
“If I hadn’t had medical skills, they would have attacked my wife and children long ago.”
People will always get old, sick, and die, and these people are no exception.
They needed someone who could treat them, so they were especially kind to their family.
The captured gangsters did not dare to say a word. They all lowered their heads and did not dare to look at Su Yin and others, for fear of becoming the first souls killed by the sword.
“Please the female hero kill these beasts.”
The four women kowtowed to Su Yin and begged.
Su Yin failed to help them up and did not continue.
She waved the knife in her hand in front of them, “If you want revenge, do it yourself.”
The four women were stunned when they looked at the dazzling knife in front of them.
“They can’t move anymore and can’t cause harm to you. It’s easy to kill them. If you want to avenge your family, do it yourself.”
In such troubled times, it is already difficult for a woman to survive. If she can’t even do this, they will not have a long way to go in the future.
Perhaps what happened today will happen again.
The thin woman reacted first, picked up the knife, and walked towards one of the gangsters step by step.
Seeing her approach, the gangster was frightened and terrified. He began to beg for mercy, “Don’t kill me. I always listen to the boss.
If you want to blame him, blame the boss. I didn’t want to do this either. They forced me to do it. Mine. Don’t kill me, please don’t kill me.
I will never dare to do it again.”
However, no matter how much the gangster begged for mercy, the thin woman seemed to ignore him.
She squeezed the knife in her hand tightly, her hand trembling slightly, but as she approached the other party step by step, the hatred in her eyes stopped her fear.
“Beast, give back my son’s life.”
The thin woman stabbed the man’s chest with the knife in her hand, then pulled it out fiercely, bringing up a drop of blood.
The knife missed the vital point, and the man was not dead yet.
The thin woman plunged in again.
One stab after another, from the trembling at the beginning, her eyes gradually became more and more cruel, and her expression became harder and harder.
Everyone around her can feel the change in the thin woman, which starts from the inside out.
The gangster had been stabbed dozens of times, and his body was filled with blood.
The thin woman stood up, wiped the blood from her face, and threw the knife to the other woman.
The woman looked at the blood-stained knife, took a deep breath, picked up the knife, and walked towards the other gangster.
The gangster was shaking like chaff and tried to escape, but Yang Dashan kicked him over.
“No, don’t kill me.”
“I was wrong, I really know I was wrong.”
“Don’t kill me.”
The woman ignored him and stared at the man with eyes full of hatred.
“You deserve to die!”
The woman stabbed the gangster directly in the heart.
After pulling out the knife, she stabbed it in again.
One knife after another, until she vented the hatred in her heart, until her hands could no longer hold the knife, and she fell limply to the ground, tears pouring out of her eyes.
“Father, mother, husband, I have avenged you.”
This time, no one asked, the other two women stepped forward, each picked up a knife, selected a gangster and walked away.
The selected gangsters looked ashen.
