Lu Yunxiang already had a plan in mind.

Zhou He sent her to Wei Shufen’s house.

Lu Yunxiang took out the red date cake she had made.

“Brother Zhou, you’ve worked hard. This is something I made myself. Take it back and try it. Don’t be shy.”

Zhou He wiped his hands on his clothes.

Wei Shufen’s eyes immediately softened.

“Okay.”

Wei Shufen’s health had improved recently.  She actually realized that it was due to the food Lu Yunxiang cooked for her and the food she gave her.  But she pretended not to know.  As long as Lu Yunxiang didn’t say anything, she would pretend to be oblivious.  She wanted to get better, she wanted to pursue her dreams, so she needed Lu Yunxiang’s cooking.  She wanted to get healthier and healthier.

After dinner, it was still early.  Lu Yunxiang prepared a fruit platter for Wei Shufen and then went out for a walk.  She needed to find someone, someone who could drag Zhang Qing into the abyss.

Lu Yunxiang remembered that this person lived in Yangliu Lane, but she didn’t know exactly where in Yangliu Lane.  After entering Yangliu Lane, she saw an old lady.  Lu Yunxiang quickly approached her.

“Auntie, I’d like to ask you something.  Do you know where Zhao Shanlin lives?”

The old lady immediately pointed to a location ahead.

“The first house on the left after you turn left is his.”

Following the directions, Lu Yunxiang arrived at Zhao Shanlin’s house.  The door was open, and she stood at the door and knocked.

“Excuse me, is this Zhao Shanlin’s house?”

Hearing her voice, a tall figure emerged from the house.  It was a man, but he was wearing black clothes and had a gloomy expression, giving off a sinister vibe.

Lu Yunxiang took a deep breath.

“Are you Zhao Shanlin?”

Zhao Shanlin squinted at Lu Yunxiang.  She was a beautiful girl, looking like a rich lady.  He scowled.

“This is not a place for you.  Leave!”

Zhao Shanlin was like a dark, venomous snake.  In her previous life, he was very ruthless.  But… he was too hasty.

Lu Yunxiang didn’t leave.  She looked at Zhao Shanlin, showing no signs of backing down.

“Zhao Shanlin, we have a common enemy.  Won’t you invite me in for a seat?”

Zhao Shanlin looked at her coldly.

“What common enemy do we have?  Leave, or I’ll chase you out with a stick.”

Lu Yunxiang looked into his gloomy eyes.

“Half a year ago, in the small forest of Wanli Village…”

Zhao Shanlin’s eyes instantly turned fierce, and he was beside Lu Yunxiang in an instant, radiating a terrifying aura.

Lu Yunxiang was startled and took several steps back to create distance.

“Calm down.  I’m here to provide you with clues about the perpetrator!”
