Forcibly Spoiled: The Vicious Fake Heiress Has a Powerful Cheat Chapter 15

Chapter 15: Is the Maybach a Ride-Hailing Car?

Su Baili confidently said, “That’s right, get in, it’s this car. I guess business isn’t doing well right now, and ride-hailing services have all sorts of cars. I even once got a Porsche.”

Wang Father didn’t understand, but he was greatly shocked.

Perhaps because he didn’t often take taxis, he didn’t realize that ride-hailing services had reached this point.

In fact, if he thought about it carefully, the private residences here were all occupied by wealthy or influential business tycoons. Why would an outsider’s car be allowed in?

Previously, Zhao Qing wanted to hail a taxi from outside, but that was unrealistic. As soon as she walked out the main gate, if no one notified the security guard today, there’s no way she could get back in.

So, the car in front of them couldn’t possibly be a regular ride-hailing car.

However, their narrow worldview limited their understanding. The Wang couple didn’t comprehend this.

Wang Father had only ridden in luxury cars twice. Once was when the Lin family sent a car to pick them up, and once was now.

But why did he always feel that this car under him was several times better than the one from the Lin family?

The accessories, the hardware—everything about this car screamed understated luxury.

Wang Father sat up stiffly and carefully touched the leather seat beneath him.

Unable to help himself, he asked, “Hey, Master, why would someone like you drive such a fine car but still run a ride-hailing service? Is business really that hard?”

Ride-hailing service?

The driver was taken aback when he heard this. He looked into the rearview mirror, but since the young lady hadn’t spoken, he didn’t dare to say anything.

Su Baili smiled, “Yeah, lately, there have been a lot of ride-hailing cars like this.”

Anyone who could be a driver for the Ji family wasn’t an ordinary person. They were more thoughtful than the average small business owner, and upon hearing this, the driver immediately understood.

He smiled and said, “Yeah, business isn’t great lately, so I came out to drive. The money helps with the household expenses.”

“Oh, you really have it tough,” Wang Father sighed.

“Yeah, yeah, nobody’s having it easy these days,” the driver responded calmly, while trying hard to suppress a smile. No matter how bad business got, which good person would drive a Maybach as a ride-hailing car?

Anyone who could afford this car, even if their company went bankrupt, would still have a life better than those of ordinary people.

It was just that the car he was driving today, with its black-themed color, looked somewhat ordinary. If they had taken one of the family’s other cars, there was no way to cover up this lie.

This was already the cheapest car in the garage. If the young lady wanted to continue hiding her identity, maybe he should apply to the butler to buy a regular sedan?

The car slowly drove out of the residential area, and the driver asked, “By the way, where are you heading?”

Wang  Mother quickly replied, “No. 13, Urban Village. It might be hard to park over there, so just stop wherever it’s convenient.”

When the driver heard the address, he was surprised for a moment, but he didn’t show it on his face. “Alright,” he said.

Urban Village was not a good place. It was notorious for being dirty and chaotic, with bad security. But because of the low rent, many migrant workers gathered there, and their manners were quite poor. It was easy for accidents to happen.

That wasn’t a place for the young lady to go. The driver, fearing responsibility, immediately sent a message to the head of the nearby security team as soon as he stopped at the next traffic light, asking them to send a few people over to stand guard.

The security captain, seeing the address, was naturally on high alert. He didn’t dare relax and immediately dispatched people to get there ahead of time.

So, when Su Baili and the others arrived, although the surrounding area was messy and dirty, the usual unpleasant sights were nowhere to be seen.

When Wang Father got out of the car, he curiously looked around. “Why is it that there’s no one around today in the alley?”

It was probably better that no one was around, as it spared scaring the child.

He turned his head and met Su Baili’s curious gaze, and then, feeling a bit self-conscious, said, “Because of my leg, our family has spent quite a bit, so our conditions aren’t great right now. We can only rent a place here. Don’t be fooled by the mess outside; your mother keeps the house very neat.”

“Yes, yes,” Zhao Qing said, looking at her obedient daughter, realizing how out of place she seemed in this environment.

But with their current situation, she couldn’t change much. All she could do was carefully remind her, “From now on, if you’re coming home, let me know in advance. I’ll pick you up at the bus station. Don’t be fooled by how empty the alley looks right now; there are all sorts of people here—youths from all walks of life, even debt collectors. As a girl, it’s best you don’t walk alone, understood?”

“I understand,” Su Baili obediently nodded, full of curiosity about the place.

Wow~ It felt like opening the door to a new world.

Although Su Baili had grown up in an orphanage, she had never been exposed to such an environment. By the time she was six, she had been brought to live with the Qi family, so this kind of culture shock was even harder to accept.

It wasn’t until she entered the Wang family’s house that the hidden bodyguards around them finally relaxed.

A man in a black suit ran into the shadows. “Captain, what should we do about those people?”

“Take them away and detain them at the police station for a while. They probably have a criminal record. It’s not appropriate for them to stay here. If they pose a threat to the young lady, we’ll all be in trouble.”

“Understood!” The man nodded quickly and left.

The captain grabbed the walkie-talkie. “Team 1, keep an eye on the hallway and watch everyone coming in and out of the Wang house carefully. Team 2, hide in the nearby buildings and report any issues immediately.”

“Understood!” came the response from the walkie-talkie.

The Qi family was no place for idle hands. In a short time, they had arranged everything, and some of the bodyguards had even moved into the house directly opposite the Wang family.

All of this effort was just for the sake of monitoring the situation…

This showed just how far Qi Shen’s protective instincts for Su Baili had gone.

Su Baili had no idea what was happening outside and had already stepped inside the Wang family’s front door.

The tidy living room came into view, just as Wang Father had said—it didn’t look as bad as it did from the outside.

Su Baili examined the room carefully. If she didn’t consider the outside environment, it wasn’t unbearable.

As soon as they entered the house, Wang  Mother anxiously said, “Come, sit down, make yourself at home. You can do whatever you like here. You must be thirsty after the trip. I’ll go get you some water.”

“It’s fine…” Su Baili reached out to stop her, but Wang  Mother had already hurried off into the kitchen.

Wang Father waved his hand. “Don’t worry about her, just look around the house. Oh, that room there is the one we prepared for you. You can take a look.”

Now that they were home, Wang Father no longer cared about appearances. He turned and grabbed the cane next to the shoe cabinet.

He needed the cane to walk every day, but today, to avoid losing face in front of the child, he deliberately didn’t use it and had Zhao Qing support him instead.

After all, it was better for others to support him while walking than for him to use the cane and look like a normal person.
