Her sisters bear some resemblance to Wang Fei, both at the age of blooming flowers, exuding a fairy-like grace and beauty.

The two of them respectfully greeted Wang Fei, and one of them spoke crisply, “Sister Gui’er has heard about them and knows that Mother came to see you yesterday. Sister Gui’er is here today to tell you  that whatever you wants to do, she can do it. Sister Gui’er believes that with our talents, character, family background, and appearance, you doesn’t need to compromise for us.”

The other girl nodded in agreement and said loudly, “Sister is right.Sister Ling also doesn’t want you to compromise.”

Upon hearing this, tears welled up in Wang Fei’s eyes, feeling embarrassed, she held back the tears.

Looking at the two nieces in front of her, confident and radiant like pearls, she saw a reflection of her younger self. Her once firm decision to divorce was now involuntarily wavering.

Wang Fei beckoned to the Wang family sisters, and they walked over to sit beside her. Wang Fei held their hands affectionately and said, “In my eyes, you too are also outstanding. You two have come a long way, have lunch before leaving.”

“Okay.” The two girls crisply agreed.

The sisters spent the morning with Wang Fei, and her mood was greatly lifted.

Wang Fei shook her head gently and said tenderly, “I don’t blame you. Everyone has their own standpoint. You are considering this matter from your perspective, advising me for Shinzi and your future children. What is there for me to blame?”

Chen Shiyi felt a bit embarrassed. She didn’t think she had done anything wrong, but now she felt a sense of self-consciousness.

In the past few days, Ning Wang had been returning to the Ning Mnsion every day.

Wang Fei calmly responded, “Pass the throne to Shinzi now, and I will go teach at the academy. You handle things with the royal family, and I agree not to divorce.”

Ning Wang fell into silence for a moment. Seeing that Wang Fei wasn’t joking, he hesitated, “Let me think about it.”

Wang Fei sneered coldly, showing a hint of contempt, “You were just so resolute earlier, and now you need to think about it? You’re as unreliable as ever, breaking your promises.”

Feeling a bit overwhelmed, Ning Wang hesitated for a while before reluctantly saying, “Alright, I agree.”

The throne would eventually be passed to Shinzi, and he had never considered passing it to the son from outside. As for the her teaching at the academy?

To be honest, he didn’t care much about these matters. He didn’t see anything wrong with running a girls’ school or teaching at one. Of course, there was nothing particularly good about it either. If she wanted to go, she would go.

The throne will eventually be passed to you. Shinzi is now much stronger than me. It’s better to pass the throne to him early so he can share the burden with the Emperor. It’s better than me holding onto the throne and doing nothing.”

Ning Wang pondered silently. He felt embarrassed to admit that he agreed to pass the throne to his son only because his wife wanted him to do so to avoid divorce.

The Emperor raised an eyebrow and chuckled, “Father, don’t underestimate yourself.”

“Have you truly made up your mind?”

Ning Wang nodded repeatedly.

His father nodded, “Then it shall be as you say.”

At the palace, when the Emperor mentioned this matter to Shu Shu Yuwan, she immediately understood why Wang Fei had decided not to divorce.

If that was the case, indeed there was no need for a divorce. Ning Wang was just a figurehead!
