“Bring Wenyue over here.”

After speaking, Shu Yuwan glanced at the Crown Prince’s expression and, seeing no displeasure, felt much relieved.

Wenyue had just been frightened, and now that she was awake, she wanted to find Shu Yuwan.

Shu Yuwan brought Wenyue today for two reasons. Firstly, after marrying into the  Palace, she would have to be separated from Wenyue. She wished she could see her at all times. Secondly, she wanted to observe the Crown Prince’s attitude towards Wenyue.

Qing Dai brought Wenyue in, and as soon as Wenyue saw Shu Yuwan, she reached out to her.

Shu Yuwan’s fondness for the Crown Prince increased even more.

However, she still said, “Your Highness, I plan to officially transfer Wenyue to my elder brother’s name and not bring her into the  Palace!”

The Crown Prince raised his head, “Why?”

“However, in my  Palace, there are no other women. Once you marry into the  Palace, you will be the only Princess Consort.”

After much consideration, Shu Yuwan confirmed that this was the best choice for Wenyue.

As long as she was well, it was enough. At least, she was still his adopted sister.

The dragon boats continued forward, and Prince Shinzi gradually pulled ahead of the others, surrounded by cheers and applause.

Many were cheering for Prince Shinzi.

Now that he was no longer a dandy but a guard in the front hall, with a prestigious status and handsome appearance, he had become quite popular in the capital.

Soon, the dragon boats reached the finish line, and the boat with the Prince Ning’s heir emerged victorious.

The Crown Prince stood up, saying, “I’ll go reward them for their victory. Wait here for a while; once it’s over, I’ll come back to take you home.”

Shu Yuwan nodded, carrying Wenyue, and rose to see him off.

With the Crown Prince seeing them off, there was no need to worry about anyone bothering them on the way back.

As soon as the Crown Prince left the room, Ah Qing came over to report, “Your Highness, after investigating, it was found that the assassin who targeted Miss Shu was a girl from the Anding Marquis’s residence.”
