From Peasant to Overlord: Rising in Rebellion with Billions in Supplies CHAPTER 1 Travelling through time

In the medical room of Fuchuan City’s largest silk factoryYe Sangwan, dressed in a pristine white coat, faced a lawyer in an expensive suit and polished leather shoes.

“Miss Ye, what I’m saying is true. You are the long-lost granddaughter of the director of Ye’s Silk Factory. As long as you sign this will, the entire Ye’s Silk Factory will belong to you.”

Ye Sangwan’s gaze fell on the paternity test lying on the table, her fingers trembling. Next to it was an inheritance certificate with an astonishing sum, followed by a thick stack of equity transfer documents.

She pinched her thigh hard—the sharp pain made her wince.

This isn’t a dream!

Her mind whirled with fantasies of becoming the youngest billionaire in Fuchuan City. Without hesitation, she picked up the pen and signed her name with excitement.

“Congratulations, Miss Ye—”

Before the lawyer could finish his sentence, the ground trembled violently. The beams above their heads groaned, and then—

Crash!

The ceiling collapsed.

Amidst the chaos, she barely heard the lawyer’s desperate scream:

“Run! It’s an earthquake—!”

Then, everything went black.

Ye Sangwan’s head throbbed as her consciousness returned. She struggled to open her eyes wondering how long she had been in coma and found herself in a dimly lit, cluttered storage room.

“I’ll go first!”

“Why? I saw her first!”

Ye Sangwan’s eyes widened in horror. In front of her stood two men—half-naked, leering at her like hungry wolves.

“What are you doing?! Back off!” Her voice came out high-pitched and unfamiliar, soft and delicate, as if trying to tempt criminals instead of warning them.

She moved, but a wave of dizziness and a sharp ringing in her ears made her grab her head in pain.

Suddenly, memories that weren’t hers flooded her mind.

“No way… I’ve time-traveled?!”

She barely had time to process the absurdity before rage surged within her.

“You filthy perverts! You dare touch an underage girl?!”

Her right hand moved instinctively—pinching a silver needle between her index and middle fingers.

With a swift flick of her wrist—

Swoosh!

The needle pierced a critical acupuncture point.

Thud!

One of the men collapsed instantly.

The remaining man grinned, thinking he had just gotten rid of competition. His yellowed teeth glinted as he sneered, “Oh, you’re feisty! I like that!”

Ye Sangwan’s eyes flashed dangerously.

“Like hell you do.”

A stone smashed into his groin with deadly accuracy.

“Arghhh—!” The man crumpled to the ground, clutching himself in agony.

Ye Sangwan glared at their pathetic figures, disgusted and thankful to her adoptive grandfather in her previous life, who saw her as a innocent girl worried that she might be bullied, so he signed her up for martial arts class. Later, she followed her grandfather to learn acupuncture and moxibustion which she combined with her martial arts techniques inventing her own set of Ye’s shadowless needles. Don’t underestimate this small silver needle, as long as one can hit the acupuncture point accurately it will be lethal.

“What kind of garbage dynasty is this?! Even scumbags like these can be officials?”

Just then, a piercing scream rang out—

“Eldest sister! Help me!”

Ye Sangwan’s blood ran cold.

Through the thin wooden wall, she saw a young girl struggling on a filthy bed. A man loomed over her, ripping at her clothes. It should be the original owner’s younger sister named Ye Sangyan. She was struggling like anything and hoped they here eldest sister would come to save her, but in her heart she clearly knew that her eldest sister may also be in a bad situation.

“No! Let her go!”

Ye Sangwan snapped.

Grabbing a kitchen knife from a nearby counter in left hand while pinching a silver needle in the right hand, she stormed into the room.

Bang!

She kicked the door open with brutal force. The fragile door damaged through the years got torn apart.

“Bastards! Can’t even spare a twelve-year-old child?!”

The two men inside turned, startled.

“Ergouzi, go! Hold her off!” one of them barked.

But how could Ye Sangwan give them upper hand, she moved like lightning.

Slash!

Her knife sliced into the man’s arm. Blood sprayed, and the metallic scent filled the air.

A fat man roared in rage, lunging at her.

She dodged and landed a vicious kick on his face.

“That’s it? Weaklings.”

“Eldest sister!” Ye Sangyan sobbed, relief flooding her face. But just as she reached for her sister, she was yanked back—choked by another man’s grip.

Looking at Ye Sangyan’s blue face and feet kicking in air,Ye Sangwan’s eyes turned murderous.

“Let go of my sister. Face me instead!”

The man sneered and threw Ye Sangyan aside. He pulled out a long blade and advanced toward Ye Sangwan.

She tensed, noticing scars crisscrossing his muscular body.

“Oh? A feisty one.” He licked his lips showing a lewd expression . “I like one who puts a good fight, come let this big brother pamper you.”

Ye Sangyan suddenly cried out:

“Eldest sister, run! You have a marriage contract with Brother Yunheng! If anything happens to you, you’ll be drowned in a pig cage!”

The man’s eyes gleamed with excitement even more and became even more enthusiastic.

“A married woman? Even better!”

Ye Sangwan grimaced in disgust.

“Disgusting.”

She flicked a silver needle straight at his weak point—but he dodged.

“Too slow!” he sneered and swung his sword playfully at her.

Ye Sangwan barely dodged, but the blade slashed her left shoulder. The man didn’t give her time to rest and continued to tease her as if a cat excited while catching a mouse, after more then twenty moves he Sangwan felt a little weak and when she stopped one can see multiple superficial wounds on her body except on her face.

The kitchen knife slipped from her grasp.

“Eldest sister!”

Ye Sangyan rushed forward—but was snatched up again.

“You let my sister go, and I’ll do whatever you want!” Ye Sangyan said trembling and struggling desperately but with unusually firm eyes, she wanted to save her sister .

Ye Sangwan’s heart clenched. This foolish, brave girl…

Just as the man grinned in triumph—

Whizz!

A small stone shot through the air.

Crack!

It hit the man’s knee, sending him staggering.

Ye Sangwan took her chance.

Swoosh!

A silver needle struck his pressure point.

Thud!

The man collapsed.

Ye Sangyan rushed to her sister. “Eldest sister, are you okay?!”

Ye Sangwan nodded weakly. Aside from exhaustion and hunger, she was fine.

But before they could catch their breath—

“Halt!”

The clanking of armor echoed as four soldiers surrounded them, swords glinting.

“Why did you kill these men?” one of them demanded.

Ye Sangwan’s neck went cold as sharp blades pressed against her skin.

Before she could respond, an elderly man rushed forward. He was Zhu Chaozhang, the village head of Banyuepo village.

“Stop! This girl is innocent!”

Behind him, a tall handsome young man dressed in coarse cloths, stood with his arms crossed, watching her with sharp eyes. At this moment, he was looking at her interest and a flash of surprise which Ye Sangwan ignored. Her sixth sense told her that the stone just now was his work.

Ye Sangyan gasped and clung to her sister excitedly . “Eldest sister! It’s Brother Yunheng! He’s alive! That’s great you won’t become a young widow “

Ye Sangwan turned to look at the man with suspicion and inquisitive gaze reminiscing about her supposed fiancé who was engaged since childhood , but wasn’t he the one who was just declared dead.

His eyes locked onto hers.

She swallowed.

Widow? She wasn’t ready for this conversation.

But one thing was certain.

She wasn’t dying today.
