The adventurer’s guild, bustling with people coming and going.

As I descended, those around me began calling my name…

“Good evening! Please let me through!”

It wasn’t difficult to pass over their heads, but ignoring the people calling me wouldn’t be good either, so I gave them a quick word before heading inside.

Even inside, it wasn’t much different from outside.

Groups had gathered all over the hall, raising their voices as if negotiating business, while others were speaking to staff members at the counters. The place was as noisy as ever.

However, it seems the tension from the battlefield outside has mostly dissipated, and instead, a sense of eagerness filled the air.

From the sounds of it, there are many merchants. Apparently, they made quite a profit from the last raid.

There are new merchants too, probably desperate to make a deal.

…But, putting that aside.

Looking around at the people gathered, I noticed representatives from the adventurer’s guild, the commercial guild, and the hunter’s guild. This will do.

“Hey, I brought this from the boss. The branch chief isn’t here, right? Who should I give it to?”

First, I handed over a letter addressed to the adventurer’s guild.

I pulled out Liesel’s instructions from my bag and waved it. The people gathered around looked up and saw it.

Perhaps they knew what it was, as a small murmur spread through the group.

The loud hall instantly grew quiet.

From the crowd emerged a staff member who occasionally handles my errands.

“Vice-Captain Sera, I will take that.”

“Okay. Thank you.”

When I handed it over, he said “Excuse me,” quickly opened the seal, and skimmed through it.

“Ah, if it’s this… The two are in the back, so please wait a moment.”

He quickly turned and walked away.

Though I had heard the contents briefly, the letter was about collaboration between the commercial and hunter guilds. Both need to act quickly, so it’s good that everything can be handled here.

“Vice-Captain Sera, please follow me.”

“Okay.”

“Well then, I will take my leave now.”

“I’ll be leaving too.”

The high-ranking officials from the commercial guild and the branch chief from the hunter’s guild immediately left after reading Liesel’s letter.

The commercial guild will begin preparations for the distribution of food.

The lord’s side can supply the ingredients and goods, but manpower, especially cooks, is a problem.

To have the local workers help, the best way is through the commercial guild.

Liesel is also carefully handling the rewards and other details…

Then, the hunter’s guild.

This time, monsters have been moving across a wide area, including Arrios’ town.

Though we’ve tried to limit the battle areas, there are still monsters fleeing with injuries, and some monsters are fighting each other after losing their leader.

Because of this, the bodies of monsters we can’t track are scattered all around.

I suppose leaving the bodies unattended is a problem.

Adventurers chasing the monsters are trying not to overlook any traces, but their expertise is in fighting monsters, not searching for them.

That’s where the hunter’s guild, specialists in this, comes in.

Their work will begin after dawn, but they’ll start preparing now.

“Vice-Captain Sera, are you heading back to the battlefield?”

After seeing the two leave, I was asked what I would do next.

When asked like this, my role is typically as a messenger or delivery person.

I suppose they were wondering what I was up to next.

“I’m done for now. It’s not suitable for many people to move through the forest.”

Even though I’m saying it myself, my strength lies in breaking through alone.

Moving in large groups is the least suitable for me, and both August and Liesel know that.

Seriana even said something rude about how I do strange things when I’m wandering at night due to sleepiness, but that’s certainly not the reason.

So, delivery is complete.

Should I head back to the mansion?

Back at the mansion, I reported that I had completed my delivery in Liesel’s room. My work for the day was done.

Dinner was ready, but before eating, I decided to take a bath.

I wasn’t terribly dirty, but I still had a feeling there was blood and other smells on me…

“Phew… it’s actually more comfortable to use this one when I’m alone.”

Today, I used the bath in the 【Hideout】, not the one in Seriana’s room.

The bathroom here is slightly larger, but the bathtub is standard, and it’s a bit cramped for multiple people.

However, it has better features, and I can even do laundry here, so it’s more efficient!

I quickly washed my body and hair, then got out of the bath and changed.

“It’s… almost 11 now.”

Looking at the clock in the living room, I noticed it was late.

I guess I’ll eat quickly.

As for my hair… I’ll just wrap it in a towel!
