And, the high performance as well.

I had a quick look at it, and it turns out that the base material is magical wood, coated with paint mixed with the bones of Demon King species.

It seems to be a technique similar to the one used in the dungeon hall before the Adventurer’s Guild.

It hardens by using the surrounding magical essence.

In other words, it’s very sturdy.

With this, even if it’s handled roughly, it probably won’t break.

I don’t think Teresa would treat it roughly, but there are times when we stand on the front lines, and there might be a chance that something could hit it by accident.

It’s always better if it’s sturdy.

I was impressed as I listened, and after finishing the explanation, Teresa raised the sword and headed toward the wall.

Right behind Seriana’s desk, there’s a map hanging, and next to it, seems to be the designated place for this sword.

Looking at it like this, the carvings and the overall appearance are quite nice.

As I nodded while admiring the sword hanging on the wall, Seriana called my name.

I turned around, wondering what was up, and saw the usual look of exasperation in her eyes.

“You… when you came back, it seemed like you were angry. Is that over now?”

Oh, right… I was angry.

I got so distracted by the sheath that I forgot about it!

Now I remember.

“Ah, right! Let me tell you what happened!”

I was about to tell everyone what happened outside when…

“Sera, don’t you think you should change first?”

Elena stopped me.

That’s right. I had come back without changing since I missed the timing.

“Right. Go change. Elena, could you make some new tea while he does?”

It wasn’t much of a change, just taking off my jacket and changing into something more comfortable. I threw the clothes I wore into a basket for collection, and that was it.

The jacket I was wearing was like a top-tier item for those wolves, so naturally, they were scared of it.

I apparently recognized that too.

If that was all, I could just take off the jacket, but… it seems like they also picked up my scent, so now they’re scared of me too.

So, I was told to leave because I was causing trouble.

And that wasn’t all.

I was also told that, until the wolves get used to their new master and life in the city, I should keep my distance from them to prevent any weird habits from forming.

Wolves live in packs, after all.

If I got too close, a weird hierarchy might form, and it could ruin the valuable summoned beasts.

“That’s kind of funny…”

After I finished speaking, Fiora seemed interested in the story, but the other three didn’t seem as intrigued.

Seriana had a look of exasperation.

Elena and Teresa looked troubled.

For Fiora, it was an unexpected side effect of using Demon King species materials, but for the other three, they probably didn’t find it that interesting.

“Even the First Division has horses, right? If you’re interested in summoned beasts, you should try there. The wolves won’t have much of an effect on the Demon King species there.”

And, I can’t ride horses, so I’m a bit scared of the big ones.

“Teresa. Isn’t one of the wolves going to be assigned to the mansion’s guard soon?”

“Yes. After finishing their training in discipline and forest combat, they’ll be taken by the lower headquarters. They’ll rotate between guarding the outside and the mansion. Your Highness, in spring, you’ll be able to see them with the guard dogs in the garden.”

“!?!”

I was surprised to hear this for the first time, and the conversation about the wolves ended there. The four of them had already moved on to another topic.

They really weren’t interested, huh… The discussion now was about the design for winter clothing.

But, I was more interested in the wolves.
