So, that’s how I ended up going to the dungeon with Fiora—a rather unusual combination.

The Burning Sphere had already been made public, but since this was an experiment with a new item, we opted to use the underground passage to avoid drawing too much attention. However… in the end, the lobby in front of the dungeon entrance was crowded with adventurers, and they were all shocked at the sight of Fiora.

Well, she is a rare character… And their surprise probably included her outfit as well.

There are about a dozen female adventurers that I know of who use this Riana Dungeon.

There are probably just under twenty in total.

These female adventurers all wear armor that balances mobility and defense.

While there are some differences in design and materials, their outfits are generally similar.

Even I, despite my lightweight appearance, wear equipment made from Demon King Type materials, which provides far greater defense than ordinary armor.

And then, there’s Fiora’s outfit…

A flowing robe.

Sure, she floats around on 【Small Orb】 and has enough power to repel monsters, but to those who aren’t used to it, it must be quite a shock.

All eyes were on her.

Noticing the attention, Fiora quickly urged us to move on.

Unlike in the past, she no longer seemed to find other people’s gazes unpleasant, but she still had no intention of becoming a spectacle.

Without waiting for my response, she headed straight for the passage leading to the dungeon.

Not wanting to be left behind, I hurried after her.

The lower levels were as lively as ever, with adventurers fighting monsters all over the place.

Only the best adventurers take on this dungeon, after all.

They’ve adapted to the poor visibility and unstable footing, handling it without issue.

Unless some major disaster happens, there shouldn’t be any big accidents.

Since they have room to breathe, they don’t immediately attack just because they see me floating in the air.

That’s why I usually don’t bother playing my flute while passing through here.

I might end up distracting them instead.

It wasn’t just me—Fiora was flying too.

I wasn’t sure how they’d react to an unfamiliar sight like this.

So, I played my whistle while slowing down a bit.

If it were just me, it wouldn’t be a problem. But since Fiora was with me, I needed to be able to cover for any accidents caused by distractions.

When the adventurers heard the sound of my flute and looked up, they were momentarily startled to see something large flying above them, but they quickly accepted it and resumed their battles.

I had confirmed that no flying monsters appear on this floor, but… weren’t they being a little too careless?

I mean, isn’t seeing someone flying in the air supposed to be a pretty big deal…?

Maybe they’re just used to it.

Just as we passed through the shallows and approached the passage to the upper levels, Fiora suddenly spoke as if she had remembered something.

I took the flute out of my mouth and responded, though I had made a weird noise because I’d been focused on the adventurers below.

“That girl from your group recently obtained a Blessed Item, didn’t she?”

Apparently, Monica had become the subject of rumors among the mages.

We hadn’t been keeping it a secret, and since female soldiers were rare, it had naturally spread.

Normally, it wouldn’t be wise to let word get out that a commoner owned a Blessed Item, but in her case, she was a soldier, and her father was a well-known adventurer, so no one would dare try anything foolish.

Still, was it really something Fiora would be interested in?

“Yeah. 【Green Shoeskeep】, right?”

“Yes. From what I knew, it only increased running speed, but I heard it also enhances jumping ability?”

“Seems like it. She’s been hopping around quite a bit.”

It wasn’t clear whether people were intentionally keeping it under wraps or simply weren’t using it acrobatically, but most assumed the Blessed Item only improved running speed.

Had Fiora come up with some unique way to utilize it?

“I want to ask for assistance with adjusting and maintaining the city’s barrier and large-scale magic tools. Many of them are installed on towers and rooftops. I do ask for your help sometimes, but some of them require considerable strength to remove.”

Now that she mentioned it, I recalled being asked to do something similar a few years ago.

It did seem like Monica would be able to reach those places by jumping across rooftops.

“Alright. I’ll talk to Teresa about it when we get back.”

“Yes, please do.”

Hmm… I’d only been thinking about using 【Green Shoeskeep】 for reconnaissance or patrols outside the city, but it seemed like it could also be useful for city maintenance work.
