The other day, I obtained the newly acquired 【Monkey’s Arm】 from a gacha pull, and after some testing, I’ve roughly grasped its capabilities.

To put it simply, it grows an extra arm… That’s all there is to it, but surprisingly, there’s more depth to it than expected.

First, let’s talk about where it can grow.

On the torso, it can sprout anywhere—front, back, left, or right.

Maybe because of that, the arm doesn’t have a designated right or left side. Even though it has five fingers, there’s no distinction between a thumb and a pinky—every finger is the same.

When I first activated it, I instinctively reached out for a handshake with my right hand, but it twisted and curled in all directions, both forward and backward.

Since it’s easy to imagine moving it, I’ll probably grow it around my shoulder most of the time, but there’s plenty of room for creativity.

Now, onto its strength.

It’s probably about the equivalent of two arms’ worth of strength.

Since I’m not that strong to begin with, even doubling my arm strength isn’t that impressive… but it can still be used in combination with 【Prayer】.

Unfortunately, unlike a tail, I can’t change its size, and its reach remains short. However, it does allow me to do more things, like supporting the launch of 【Danrem’s Thread】 or throwing items.

That said, it doesn’t seem to be reflected in 【Floating Orb】, which serves as my legs. Even if I lift something with 【Monkey’s Arm】, my carrying capacity doesn’t change.

【Prayer】’s effects do apply, though… Maybe it has something to do with the difference between a Blessed Item and a Divine Gift.

Finally, let’s talk about its usability and functionality.

Since it has fingers, I tested equipping 【Shadow Sword】 on it, but unfortunately, it didn’t activate.

Well… 【Shadow Sword】 is a bit too powerful, and even if it could activate, I wouldn’t want to use it with anything other than my own arms to avoid accidents, so that’s not a problem.

On the other hand, while activating 【Amber Sword】 still requires my own hands, I was able to hold it with 【Monkey’s Arm】 just fine.

Naturally, the effect was applied properly.

It seems like I could at least lift 【Red Sword】 as well, but considering its interaction with 【Floating Orb】, that one is definitely meant for Teresa.

That about sums up its functionality.

As for its control…

“Here, here, here…!”

I tossed a small juggling ball made of cloth, wrapped in another cloth, and tied with a string—essentially, a beanbag.

Three of them danced in the air, manipulated by my three arms.

The location was the reception room adjacent to Liesel’s office, with the usual group and some children as my audience.

Lately, Seriana has been getting busier, so she spends more time here rather than in her own room, and since I accompany her, I end up here too.

After lunch, she returns to the office to resume her work, and in the early afternoon, the nanny brings the children over to visit.

This has been the routine for a while now, but kids grow fast.

Where they used to quietly stay in the nanny’s arms, now they get restless and squirm.

Being brought into a place full of unfamiliar adults must make them uneasy, so it’s no surprise.

That’s why we always move to the reception room.

Today was no different, but for some reason, the kids were fussier than usual, so I decided to entertain them with some juggling.

In my past life, I could juggle up to four beanbags, two per hand, but with my current small hands, that’s impossible.

However, by combining them with 【Monkey’s Arm】, this is the result.

As expected, when the juggling is within my field of vision, I can control it smoothly.

Trying to move it behind me felt awkward, and I had to consciously direct it, but in front, it felt just like using my own arms.

As I tossed the beanbags up and caught them repeatedly, I decided it was about time to wrap it up.

One by one, I caught them with 【Monkey’s Arm】 and gently tossed them to the children.

The force and control were perfect.

“Ha ha ha! How was that?”

The children cheered excitedly, waving their arms in joy.

They were still flailing around, just like before, but this time, it wasn’t out of frustration—it was out of excitement.

Well… getting them all riled up before naptime might not have been the best idea… but I’ll leave that to the nanny’s expertise.

“That was impressive. Your control over that Blessed Item is remarkable… You’re quite dexterous, Sera.”

Liesel, who had been enjoying the performance along with the children, offered his praise.

There should be street performers in this world too.

I’ve never seen one myself, but juggling is just a repetitive process of throwing and catching.

Even in a different world, I’m sure the concept exists.

However, not many people would use a Blessed Item for juggling.

Even someone like Liesel, a royal who has spent much of his life in the capital and has seen plenty, seemed entertained by my performance.

I’m not aiming to be an entertainer, but juggling is surprisingly good training.

When I focus too much on the beanbags above me, 【Floating Orb】 tends to drift after them.

It’s not a strong reaction, and I can compensate by stabilizing myself with my tail, but I feel like this could help me overcome any strange movements it makes in the rain.

It doesn’t take much space, and it pairs well with flexibility training—maybe I should make this a daily practice?

Meanwhile, Seriana was watching with an exasperated expression.

Balancing on 【Floating Orb】 while using 【Serpent’s Tail】 to anchor myself… Even I have to admit, it’s quite a sight.

I can understand why she’d have something to say about it.

Elena, on the other hand, was sitting with Luka on her lap, enjoying the show with him.
