The task of unwrapping the gifts and listing their contents continued with several breaks in between, and in the end, it was completed around sunset.

The contents of the gifts weren’t much different from what Elena and Seriana had received for their birthdays.

From other territories and countries, there were books or artworks and ornaments popular in those lands. From within our own domain, the now-familiar cushions, clothes resembling the nightwear I recently had tailored, and money.

As far as gift choices go, I’d say they were pretty standard.

Typically, alcohol from those regions is also included, but since I don’t drink, it’s irrelevant.

The senders are mostly the same people anyway, and the purpose is also the same.

No one’s going to choose something wildly eccentric.

Incidentally, the money I received totaled over 100 gold coins.

Converted to Japanese yen, that’s about 10 million yen.

It’s a considerable sum, but apparently, it also serves as a congratulatory gift for coming of age.

Merchants who go out of their way to promote their shops usually target high-ranking nobles.

The children of high-ranking nobles, upon coming of age, typically attend the Noble Academy in the royal capital, where they spend a lot preparing for their new life and during their leisure.

So they provide financial support in hopes of getting those nobles to promote their shops in return.

However, I won’t be going to the Noble Academy, and I earn my own money to begin with…

I doubt I can meet their expectations, so I’m thinking of asking Seriana to politely decline on my behalf.

Well… that covers the gifts from others.

Of course, I received gifts from my close ones as well.

From Seriana, I received a cloak, while Elena and the others gave me cold-weather gear like a lap blanket, a stole, and socks.

The designs are simple, but all in a deep navy blue, giving them a sense of unity—pretty good, I’d say!

There was a time not long ago when I wasn’t using the 【Floating Orb】, and since I’m usually activating Blessed Items or divine protection, those around me had grown numb to the difference—but apparently, seeing me walk around normally reminded them.

Even I had stopped feeling odd about my season-inappropriate appearance… It’s no wonder they did too.

They’re all practical items, so I’ll gratefully put them to use.

After that, we moved on to dinner, and afterward, we had tea in my room.

We could have used Seriana’s room, but mine had just been tidied up, after all.

The items I didn’t plan on using and had designated for the servants had already been taken away, and my room, once piled with packages, was finally clean again.

And now, here I am, standing in front of the mirror in my room, striking a pose.

“Nufuu…”

I’ve got the stole over my shoulders, the lap blanket wrapped around my waist, socks on my feet, and the cloak draped over me.

It’s a full set of gifted gear.

My hair really stands out against the cool tones of the outfit.

“I’m still not used to seeing that kid bundled up like that.”

“Right. Maybe we should prepare some gloves next time? As long as she doesn’t use the 【Shadow Sword】, there shouldn’t be a problem, right?”

“A hat might be nice too. Should we match the color to her hair?”

Seriana and the others were whispering among themselves while looking at me.

It sounded like they were talking about clothes and accessories… I hope they don’t go for anything too flashy…

“Well then, Princess, I’ll remove it now.”

“Okay.”

Teresa, who hadn’t joined in their conversation and was attending to my outfit, began removing the cloak.

This cloak doesn’t have the kind of string that ties around the chest—it’s secured with a more complex arrangement of cords and clasps, and I can’t put it on properly by myself.

It’s apparently the kind of cloak meant for women of status who don’t dress themselves but have servants to do it… I suppose that’s just how it is.

A cloak made for nobility, with no regard for convenience.

Teresa placed the removed cloak on a mannequin.

The shorter cloak gets rotated with my dungeon-exploration gear and used on its own.

The blue fabric looked nice under the light, but… when it’s just the cloak, it seems a bit plain. It definitely looks cooler when paired with an outfit.

The clothes are supposed to arrive soon, so I’ll wait and match them together!

I also handed Teresa the lap blanket and stole, and she stood there for a moment, thinking.

“These… let’s store them on the shelf in Madame’s bedroom. I’ll bring them over later.”

“Yeah. Good idea.”

Those are things I’ll use regularly, so it’s best to keep them somewhere I can grab them right after waking up.

There are multiple pairs of socks too, so it’s probably better to keep those in the other room.

Well, that can wait—for now, I’ll have some tea too.

Still… I’ve had more opportunities to have tea in my room than I expected…

This room connects the hallway and guestroom, and unlike Seriana’s room, it doesn’t have a kitchen.

I originally intended to use it as a storage room, so it’s not very well-equipped… Bringing things from Seriana’s room every time is a bit of a hassle.

But this place is convenient when I want to relax, so maybe I should get a tea wagon or something…
