Chapter 47: If You Have the Guts, Punish Me
Ning Qiutang returned to the classroom and saw Shen Wanwan sneaking around, doing something at her desk.
As soon as she entered, the thing in Shen Wanwan’s hand fell to the ground.
It was a piece of cake.
“Ning, you’re back. I heard you like the cakes from Forest of Mystery, so I bought one for you. Can you please let Shu Hui off the hook? She didn’t mean it. She’s young and doesn’t understand. Don’t hold it against her.”
“Besides, she’s just a student. You can’t ruin her life over this. You’re so kind, you’ll definitely be willing to forgive and forget.”
Shen Wanwan was acting all innocent again. She went to get a broom and dustpan to clean up the cake on the floor, and then used a mop to wipe up the cream.
She seemed sincere.
Ning Qiutang didn’t want to have anything to do with her: “Get out of my way. I’m a cruel and ruthless person, don’t beg me. If the judge sentences her to death, I’ll be happy to celebrate with champagne.”
“Ning Qiutang, why are you being so petty? She’s just a clueless girl. You should be willing to forgive her. Why are you trying to get her killed?”
Shen Wanwan was glowing with kindness, like an angel.
Ning Qiutang was even more disgusted by her. Did she really lose to someone like this in her past life?
“Get out of here. Every word I waste on you is a waste of time. Are you going to keep going? I can still make you die without a burial.”
She walked over and shoved her.
Shen Wanwan fell perfectly, accidentally hitting her head on the corner of the desk, and fainted.
Just then, someone came in.
Everyone saw Ning Qiutang push her.
“Shen Wanwan, are you okay?” They were classmates, so they would naturally help and go over to help her up.
Shen Wanwan was unconscious.
“Call 120.”
Ning Qiutang rolled her eyes. She took a sharp tack from the table: “I heard from the doctor that the easiest way to wake someone up is to use pain to wake up someone who is unconscious.”
She took the tack, grabbed Shen Wanwan’s hand, and forcefully stabbed the sharp end into the palm of her hand.
Shen Wanwan didn’t expect her to be so ruthless and couldn’t help but scream.
“She woke up!” The classmates were shocked to see Ning Qiutang. This method was quick, accurate, and ruthless.
Shen Wanwan glared at Ning Qiutang, her face ugly. She continued to act: “Oh, my head is so dizzy!”
“Shen, hold on. The ambulance will be here soon.”
The classmates surrounded her and comforted her.
The teacher also came. Seeing Shen Wanwan, who was weak and had a big bump on her forehead, she was worried. This was their school’s top student. What if she was hurt?
“Shen Wanwan, are you okay?”
Shen Wanwan said with tear-filled eyes: “Teacher, I’m fine. But Ning, why did you push me?”
The teacher looked at Ning Qiutang with displeasure: “Ning Qiutang, how can you bully your classmate like this? This isn’t the first time.”
“I did push her, but the force wasn’t enough to make her hit her head and fall like this. She deliberately provoked me, forcing me to do it, then pretended to be innocent so everyone would see me push her. This girl is cunning and can’t be trusted.”
Ning Qiutang was speechless. Was Shen Wanwan only capable of such low-class tactics?
Shen Wanwan’s tears flowed: “My head hurts so much. Why is my hand bleeding!”
The teacher said to Ning Qiutang in a bad tone: “Alright, I’ll report this to the school leaders. You’ve bullied your classmates more than once. Just wait for your judgment.”
He had someone help Shen Wanwan downstairs and into the ambulance to go to the hospital.
Ning Qiutang wasn’t afraid of anything, she just felt disgusted, like she had swallowed a fly.
After school, she was called to the administrative office.
A bunch of school leaders were there, making it feel like a trial.
Ning Qiutang walked in with a calm and composed expression.
But she found Jiang Sheng there.
It was quite lively, Chen Jinshi’s group was there, and Lu Feisheng was miserably complaining, his legs unable to stand.
Jiang Sheng raised his eyebrows slightly as he looked at Ning Qiutang entering.
Director Lin looked at his nephew with displeasure: “Can you stand straight, what does it look like?”
Jiang Sheng slowly stood up straight, staring at Ning Qiutang’s unhappy face, wondering who had angered this little ancestor.
“If I stand straight, wouldn’t all the leaders have sore necks?”
He was just too tall.
Director Lin glared at him: “Shut up, you still have the nerve to say that.”
Ning Qiutang looked at the boy who was indifferent to this oppressive interrogation environment and thought he was truly arrogant and presumptuous.
“Ning Qiutang, according to the truthful accounts of many people and the surveillance footage, you did push Shen Wanwan. Do you have anything else to say?”
The long-haired woman with glasses was the head of the senior year group, and it was most appropriate for her to speak.
Ning Qiutang hadn’t done anything wrong, so she didn’t like this interrogation feeling.
“Pushing her once and pushing her to the point of disability are two different concepts. It’s like you buying insurance, just because someone pushed you, would you claim compensation from the insurance company?”
“If I really pushed her and she hit her head, even if she became mentally disabled, I wouldn’t mind admitting it. But it wasn’t me, why should I admit it? Besides, the police investigate cases based on evidence. You say I pushed her to this state based on her word alone, isn’t that too rash?”
That’s typical of someone who studied the humanities. Their arguments are clear, well-supported, and actually make sense.
As expected of someone who studied the humanities, her logic was clear, her arguments were valid, and she was quite reasonable.
Another vice principal said: “You’re still arguing in front of everyone. The surveillance footage is also evidence. Besides, they all know you don’t get along with Shen Wanwan, there’s no problem with you deliberately retaliating.”
“Also, you said you can’t just listen to her side of the story, but isn’t that also your side of the story? How can you prove that you just gave a gentle push and it wouldn’t cause her to hit her head and bleed?”
Jiang Sheng found their debate somewhat amusing. He said with a sarcastic tone: “Alright, come on, Little Rose, push me and see if you can make me hit my head and bleed.”
Ning Qiutang rolled her eyes at him, everything was already in chaos, and he was still causing trouble: “I don’t need to prove anything, just punish me.”
As soon as these words came out, the leaders present all fell silent.
Not to mention Ning’s family’s status and background in the capital, the Jiang family was already a towering mountain, how could they punish her.
Another vice principal said: “Just let it go, it’s just a little squabble between kids. What Ning Qiutang said isn’t unreasonable, this kind of thing is hard to tell who’s right and who’s wrong. Two people fighting isn’t just one person’s fault, just criticize and educate both sides and let it go.”
The others nodded, there was no need to stir up this muddy water. Although Shen Wanwan was still the real daughter of the Xu family, the Xu family’s attitude was unclear, so they could only favor her.
Finally, Ning Qiutang politely left.
Jiang Sheng stood tiredly: “If you have anything, go find my grandfather, I’m leaving.”
He didn’t give the leaders any face and followed Ning Qiutang out.
Lu Feisheng grumbled: “The school can’t do anything to him, my Lu family isn’t just here to eat.”
Director Lin glanced at him: “The school’s food is too dry?”
“Tomorrow, tell the cafeteria to add more water.”
Lu Feisheng: Does no one speak up for me?
