Chapter 63 Why Are You Always So Stupid
Jiang Sheng laughed, his smile both handsome and cold, as if he were a million miles away. His voice was extremely thin and cold: “Murder is against the law, I’m not that beastly.”
“Besides, you said I wronged you, and you want to vent your anger. I can relate to how you felt chasing after me before, it was really unpleasant.”
Ning Qiutang didn’t expect him to reflect on himself: “They deliberately set me up.”
Jiang Sheng nodded, a wicked and arrogant smile playing on his lips: “I’ll help you deal with them.”
“Then can you forgive me a little?”
Ning Qiutang was burned by his sincere gaze. Thinking of the words on her arm, she hesitated for a few seconds before saying directly: “Forgive you 0.1%.”
“Okay, less is less, at least it’s some progress, isn’t it?” Jiang Sheng really wanted to thank this idiot. Without Qin Dang, he wouldn’t have been able to make Ning Qiutang’s unbreakable city wall crumble so quickly.
Ning Xiaoyao winked at his sister, “Look, look, Sheng Ge really has a thing for you, okay? He’s really super nice to you.”
Ning Qiutang pushed away her silly brother, not wanting to speak.
Qin Dang couldn’t take it anymore. Why were they ignoring him and talking about love as if he were air?
“Jiang Sheng, I’m really giving you too much face!” He fearlessly grabbed a chair nearby and smashed it at him.
Jiang Sheng pulled Ning Qiutang back, raised his hand to block the chair, and then grabbed the edge of the chair, throwing the person away: “Looking for death.”
Then the young man charged forward like a swift leopard, a mighty tiger, pressing the man to the ground and beating him mercilessly. Every punch felt like it was hitting his bones.
Qin Dang fought back, struggling to push him away. He quickly got up and the two of them fought, both going for the kill.
Lin Zhiyuan took out his phone to record a video: “This year’s first early-stage competition.”
Yu Molly heard a lot of things breaking around her. She was afraid and hid in Lu Feisheng’s arms: “Let’s go home!”
“Okay, I’ll take you back.” Lu Feisheng sighed, holding her little hand and taking her away.
Ning Xiaoyao wanted to help.
He was pulled back by Ning Qiutang: “If you go over there, they’ll each slap you into a pig’s head, believe it or not.”
Ning Xiaoyao smiled sheepishly: “Then I won’t go.”
Mainly because those two were fighting and couldn’t be stopped. Anyone who went over would get beaten up.
Shen Wanwan had two screens in front of her.
One was that the plot had broken down to fifteen percent.
The other was that the male lead’s favorability towards her had reached -20.
So she discussed it with the system and decided to change the male lead. As long as she killed the current male lead, whoever she fell in love with would be the male lead.
But it wasn’t that easy. They say that the male and female leads are the children of destiny, no one can kill her, and no one can kill Jiang Sheng either.
[The male lead’s wrist beads are strange, my power is being suppressed.]
Shen Wanwan was about to move.
Ning Qiutang stood in front of her: “What, you want to fight too?”
Shen Wanwan was about to speak.
Ning Qiutang slapped her: “I don’t understand, why do you have to go against me?”
“You instigated Qin Dang to frame me.”
Shen Wanwan couldn’t take it anymore. She directly retaliated with a slap: “So what if it was me, you hit me and you don’t let me hit back!”
“You put your face in front of me to be hit, and you blame me for hitting hard. Then you have to ask Newton why force acts reciprocally, and why you’re always so stupid.”
Ning Qiutang dodged, grabbed her hand and slapped her again.
But the next second, her body seemed to freeze again, just for a few seconds.
Shen Wanwan’s slap came over, her face full of vindictive pleasure.
Fortunately, Ning Xiaoyao bumped into her, pulling his sister away.
Ning Qiutang regained control of her limbs. Her face was grim. Once or twice could be an accident, but a third time? This Shen Wanwan was fishy.
She didn’t doubt the existence of ghosts or gods, after all, she had been reborn.
What other absurd things could she accept? Thinking about the recent strange events, she felt increasingly terrified.
“Sister, are you alright?”
Ning Xiaoyao protected his sister.
Ning Qiutang immediately rushed over, grabbing Shen Wanwan and demanding, “Who are you, or what are you?”
“You’ve been controlling me repeatedly!”
Shen Wanwan pushed her away forcefully, laughing maniacally, “Heh, you’re not worthy of knowing.”
“What are you all standing around for? Do it.”
Those bodyguards charged forward.
Jiang Sheng beat Qin Dang to a pulp, his face was unrecognizable, bruised and swollen.
Seeing the people on Ning Qiutang’s side, the young man wiped the blood from his mouth, his gaze turning cold and ruthless as he went up against ten.
Qin Dang was a bit better at fighting, those bodyguards were just show-offs, he took them down in two or three moves.
Ning Qiutang remained unscathed throughout.
Jiang Sheng took her hand and led her out.
Screams echoed from the private room.
Lin Zhiyuan passed by Shen Wanwan with his phone in hand, his unfathomable eyes like black holes, “Speaking of which, who are you really?”
Shen Wanwan felt a chill down her spine, how did everyone know something was wrong with her?
But Lin Zhiyuan didn’t delve deeper, he smiled enigmatically, “You’re quite interesting.”
The young master walked out, his back betraying a deep cunning.
【Host, as this world is on the verge of collapse, bugs will become more frequent. You’re on your own.】
Shen Wanwan wanted to curse, was this how you assisted the conqueror?
【Host, it’s because you’re not working hard enough.】
Shen Wanwan: I really don’t want to do this anymore.
But she wouldn’t give up, she didn’t believe she couldn’t handle this world.
Still, she called 120 for an ambulance, Qin Dang was useless.
After they went out.
They got into the Ning family’s car.
Ning Qiutang looked at the young man’s injured mouth, took out a medical kit from the bottom and applied medicine to his wound, “Thank you today.”
“I went to the library, I knew you weren’t there and had people look for you. When they said Qin Dang set up a trap to get you, I drove over as fast as I could, my car was impounded and I got fined.”
Jiang Sheng explained, watching her calmly and gently apply medicine to him, he felt it was worth it.
He wouldn’t have been injured, but he got punched because he was distracted watching her.
Ning Qiutang probably guessed as well, her heart filled with mixed emotions, “Does this injury affect your eating?”
“I want to eat crab roe buns tomorrow.” Jiang Sheng was quick to take advantage of the situation, this was his reward for a hard day’s work.
Ning Qiutang nodded, it was a simple favor, “Anything else?”
“Red bean glutinous rice cakes.” Jiang Sheng felt his treatment had improved, two kinds of food for breakfast.
Ning Qiutang asked, “You didn’t eat breakfast before, you always ate what I ate.”
Jiang Sheng leaned back in his seat, “I didn’t even have enough time to sleep, let alone eat.”
Hence the lateness.
Ning Qiutang handed him the medicine, “Apply it yourself if it hurts.”
As they neared home, she said, “I think Shen Wanwan is very strange.”
Jiang Sheng’s tone became serious, “Yeah, she’s definitely strange, she kept sneaking glances at the Buddhist beads on my wrist.”
“Her purpose seems to be more than we thought.”
