The microwave let out a soft ding, and Li Wenshui took out the buns, placing them on the table.
The soft, plump buns exuded a tempting aroma. Wei Sibai was the first to reach out, grabbing a bun the size of a steamed bread roll. Though his face showed disdain, his hands betrayed him as he brought the bun to his mouth. “Could this even taste good? Let me try.”
Li Wenshui felt that the nickname he’d given Wei Sibai—brat who needs a beating—was spot on. He pushed the remaining two buns toward Liang Jin. “These are for you. Try them.”
Liang Jin didn’t reach for them. “I already had breakfast; I’m not hungry. I’ll save them for lunch.”
Muttering under his breath, Wenshui put the buns into the fridge. “Could’ve said that earlier—then I wouldn’t have heated them.”
“It’s actually delicious,” Wei Sibai said, looking like he wanted more. “Why’d you only bring three buns? That’s so stingy! They’re not even enough to fill the gap in my teeth.”
Wenshui felt that Wei Sibai was even pickier than Liang Jin. “Too few? If it’s not enough, make them yourself! They weren’t meant for you anyway. Besides, these buns aren’t cheap—they cost over 200 yuan.”
Just thinking about it made Wenshui feel the sting of wasted money. Two hundred yuan for just a bit of crab meat—it could’ve bought him ten kilos of pork.
“Two hundred? That’s supposed to be a lot?” Wei Sibai, now sitting next to Liang Jin, gave Wenshui a scornful look. “Jin Ge, where did you find such a stingy friend?”
Wei Sibai didn’t have a good impression of Li Wenshui. He found him too sharp, like a prickly thorn—overly sensitive, too. He hadn’t said anything particularly offensive, but Wenshui had already thrown jabs at him. Earlier, Wenshui even called him uncivilized. As if his own manners are any better, Wei Sibai thought.
But what annoyed Wei Sibai the most wasn’t Wenshui’s personality. It was how comfortably he behaved in Liang Jin’s home, as if he were the real master here. Wei Sibai didn’t like it. He liked Liang Jin too, but he knew their relationship could only ever be familial, never romantic. It wasn’t just about their feelings—it was about the impact on their families.
Standing up, Wei Sibai said, “My sister should be arriving soon. I’ll go meet her—brother-in-law.”
He deliberately emphasized the last word, his gaze pointedly landing on Wenshui’s face.
He didn’t believe Liang Jin would be with someone like Wenshui, but he could tell that Wenshui liked Liang Jin. No matter what the truth was, he wanted to give this overly presumptuous man a taste of reality.
Feeling smug, Wei Sibai left the room.
Li Wenshui stood frozen in place, his mind blank. That one word—brother-in-law—hit him like a brick.
What did that mean? Did Liang Jin have a girlfriend?
Li Wenshui knew too little about Liang Jin. He didn’t know what Liang Jin usually did, nor did he know if he had other bed partners.
Li Wenshui suddenly leaned forward, and by the time he came to his senses, he was already sitting in Liang Jin’s lap.
Liang Jin stared at Li Wenshui’s dazed expression, his hot breath spraying against his lips: “What are you thinking about?”
“Why does he call you brother-in-law?” Li Wenshui’s hands naturally rested at his sides. Even though he had slept with Liang Jin countless times, he still wasn’t used to being held so intimately.
Although sometimes, he would uncontrollably feel a little elation, happy and wanting to be close to Liang Jin, he would take the initiative to put his arms around Liang Jin’s neck.
But often after taking the initiative, he would also feel shy, feeling like he wasn’t himself.
Liang Jin’s hand reached into Li Wenshui’s clothes, caressing his smooth, tender skin, and casually explained: “His sister and I were betrothed by our families when we were young. Don’t worry about it, it’s not set in stone.”
Liang Jin unbuttoned Li Wenshui’s cardigan, the garment slipped off his shoulders, hanging loosely around Li Wenshui’s wrists, revealing a patch of snow-white skin.
He pressed Li Wenshui’s back against his own, it had been a while since he had held the little liar. The other was soft and delicate, beautiful and captivating when he cried, and comfortable to manipulate. Liang Jin gradually felt that Li Wenshui was a pretty good bed partner.
“Liang Jin… will you get married?” Li Wenshui looked at Liang Jin, his eyes filled with curiosity and urgency.
Actually, with his status, he shouldn’t have asked such a question, but once he was caught in the ambiguous atmosphere created by Liang Jin, he would lose his mind and always ask questions he shouldn’t.
Liang Jin reached out to touch Li Wenshui’s slightly flushed cheek, his eyes curving: “Where is my bride? Is it you?”
Li Wenshui’s earlobes visibly turned red, he lowered his head, his heart pounding: “Don’t lie to me.”
The wind blew through the hall, Liang Jin had stripped Li Wenshui bare, only his own belt was undone.
Li Wenshui’s body trembled slightly, he pushed away the person who was teasing him in his chest, whispering: “Liang Jin, it’s a little cold.”
Liang Jin suddenly stood up, scaring Li Wenshui into hugging Liang Jin’s neck tightly, his legs wrapped around Liang Jin’s waist, panicked, afraid of falling.
“Liang Jin… put me down…”
Liang Jin blocked Li Wenshui’s mouth, holding the person in his arms and walking towards the bed, kissing him as he went.
Li Wenshui could only helplessly open his mouth to endure, his tongue was numb from being bitten, his whole body was burning, his lips and teeth were filled with the other’s breath.
Liang Jin’s breath was too invasive, Li Wenshui didn’t know how to react, he was numb from head to toe, the feeling was terrifying.
His heart was also pounding, aching, as if it was about to jump out.
The moment Liang Jin placed Li Wenshui on the bed, Li Wenshui was flushed all over, his legs trembling, his eyes unfocused.
Their lips parted, leaving a trail of liquid.
Li Wenshui gasped for breath, his lips red and moist.
Liang Jin glanced down at Li Wenshui’s body, a knowing smile appeared in his eyes: “Baby, you…”
Li Wenshui’s cheeks were flushed, he weakly covered Liang Jin’s mouth: “Don’t, don’t say it.”
He was embarrassed and unbelievable, he had been kissed to the point of… cumming.
Li Wenshui’s shy appearance was really cute, he tilted his head, trying to bury his face in the blanket, his skin was flushed red.
Liang Jin’s eyes were gentle, he removed Li Wenshui’s hand and kissed him again.
Outside the door, Wei Sibo stood in shock, unable to calm down for a long time.

Inside the orphanage, the children sat quietly in the classroom, grading papers.
Li Wenshui stood under the large tree outside the window, unable to stand or sit properly. His back ached, his legs felt weak, and he was clearly uncomfortable.
Leaning casually against the tree, Liang Jin seemed completely at ease, as if unconcerned about the test results.
Noticing Li Wenshui’s discomfort, Liang Yuting asked, “Wenshui, are you feeling unwell? Since we arrived, you’ve been restless.”
“No, it’s nothing,” Li Wenshui replied, glancing at Liang Jin, who responded with an enigmatic smile.
At that moment, the classroom door opened, and Grandfather Liang walked out holding the results.
“Do you want to know the outcome?” he asked.
