Chapter 59
Xiao Yuan’s black eyes grew deeper. He bent down, one hand bracing against the backrest of the sofa behind Xie Fuyi, and the other hand controlling Xie Fuyi’s wrists.
With a smirk on his lips and a hoarse, lazy voice, he said, “Did I say something wrong? Just look at yourself, what have you been turned into!”
“You…” Xie Fuyi was momentarily stunned, his lips trembling, and he stared at the man in front of him with a mixture of shock and anger. For a moment, he couldn’t find the words to speak. He had never expected that this person would speak such words.
Xiao Yuanyan couldn’t resist the temptation of Xie Fuyi’s dazed expression. He didn’t hold back, directly pressing down on Xie Fuyi’s shoulders with both hands and leaning in for a kiss.
Their lips intertwined, and Xiao Yuanyan’s dominant posture was anything but gentle. His tongue entered forcefully.
His large, distinct hands didn’t hesitate to grasp the full chest muscles that he had long desired.
Wide-eyed, Xie Fuyi felt a mixture of pain and pleasure as Xiao Yuanyan suddenly pinched him, and he felt the warm breath of the man’s lips on his skin. Regaining his senses, he quickly exerted force, reversing their positions and pressing Xiao Yuanyan down onto the sofa.
Xiao Yuanyan was strong, and he struggled, forcing Xie Fuyi to straddle him, using the weight of his body to restrain Xiao Yuansi’s attempts to break free. But it looked as if he was sitting in Xiao Yuansi’s lap.
“Xiao Yuanyan! Have you gone mad? We, we’re friends, right? Why would you…” Although he had been helping him all along, helping him out of difficult situations, giving him resources… now he was insulting him with such words?
Xie Fuyi clenched his lips, struggling to find words. His expression was a mix of sadness and anger as he stared straight at Xiao Yuanyan, stubbornly demanding an explanation.
Xiao Yuayan’s deep gaze assessed the man sitting on him. The muscles on his cold white skin were tense, and his chest muscles were heaving with anger. The part of him sitting on Xiao Yuanyan’s legs was both firm and soft.
His Adam’s apple rolled, and he stopped struggling altogether. He leaned back, allowing the other man to press him down, raised his eyebrows lazily, and said, “Friends? Are you really that stupid or are you just pretending? I did so much for you because I wanted to sleep with you! What, we finished filming, you got the money, took all the benefits, and you still won’t give me some action?”
Xiao Yuanyan’s words were casual, but Xie Fuyi’s face had turned pale. His expression was a mix of restrained anger and helplessness. “I didn’t want to take advantage of the benefits you gave me, and I’m not gay! I really thought of you as a friend, but you lied to me…”
Perhaps now was the real face of Xiao Yuanyan, and all the friendliness and gentleness before were just lies… Xie Fuyi’s sadness didn’t seem feigned.
Xiao Yuanyan’s eyes darkened. Whether the other was truly foolish or pretending to be innocent, he didn’t want to play this game of gradual approach anymore!
Since the other didn’t understand, he didn’t need to hold back anymore.
Taking advantage of Xie Fuyi’s distraction, Xiao Yuanyan quickly freed his hands, grabbed Xie Fuyi’s wrists behind him, and then brought them back around his waist, locking them behind him. Then, he hugged the man tightly to his chest.
Forced to lean forward, Xie Fuyi seemed to be deliberately offering himself to Xiao Yuanyan’s embrace.
Xiao Yuanyan didn’t hold back, Xie Fuyi’s well-trained body was quite good. Now that his hands were restrained, Xie Fuyi struggled, but Xiao Yuanyan’s action disoriented him, leaving him powerless.
“You wanted to be a movie star, didn’t you?” Xiao Yuanyan exerted force upward from his waist, his weapon brushing against the gap between Xie Fuyi’s legs, emphasizing each word, “Follow me, and I’ll make you famous…”
Xiao Yuanyan’s low, hoarse voice was barely recognizable. He pressed the man in his arms onto the sofa, almost wanting to drown in his body.
But just as his hand touched Xie Fuyi’s belt buckle, the next moment, he felt a knee press against his abdomen, and then a heavy punch landed on his face.
“Get lost!” Xie Fuyi quickly stood up, put on his shirt, and his voice turned cold. “Even if I become a movie star, it will be based on my own abilities, not relying on anyone else!”
Xiao Yuanyan staggered from the punch, his lips split, and his internal organs ached from the impact.
As he wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, Xiao Yuanyan dark and cold, stared at Xie Fuyi, who had already put on his clothes, and walked to the door. With a cold sneer, he called out to him, “Xie Fuyi, if you dare to walk out that door, I can make sure you won’t make it in the entertainment industry!”
Xie Fuyi’s hand on the doorknob paused. That would be great! Quickly shut him out! What use were one or two people who acted as if they hadn’t seen the world? He couldn’t stand this ridiculous plot for another day!
Seeing Xie Fuyi hesitate, Xiao Yuanyan felt a surge of joy in his heart. But in the next moment, Xie Fuyi’s light voice echoed, “As you wish. But, we’re not friends anymore.”
“Wait…” Xiao Yuanyan watched him leave briskly, his throat choking up, a hint of panic rising in his heart.
If he just agreed, the other could have everything he wanted. But why did he refuse him?
Xiao Yuan’s panic only lasted for a moment before his black eyes darkened again. No matter what, this person would only belong to him!
—
After the rift between Xie Fuyi and Xiao Yuanyan, Xie Fuyi quickly lost all his endorsements, and the director of the idol drama, feeling embarrassed, asked him to take a break and go home.
For a while, all of Xie Fuyi’s work came to a halt, leaving him with leisure time.
He wasn’t in a hurry at all. In fact, he hoped the other would be even more ruthless.
But just a week later, Xiao Yuanyan couldn’t contain himself anymore.
The wrap-up banquet for the previous costume drama invited Xie Fuyi to attend.
It seemed he wasn’t in a hurry, but some people couldn’t wait.
—
When Xie Fuyi arrived, most of the guests were already there. As he glanced around, he saw Xiao Yuanyan sitting at the head of the table.
He was seated next to Chen Shan, with an empty seat next to him, and then Mu Ziming.
As soon as he saw Xiao Yuanyan, Xie Fuyi turned to leave, but Xiao Yuanyan smirked and spoke up, swirling his wine glass lazily. “Director Chen, when will our drama be ready for broadcast?”
Although Chen Shan was somewhat arrogant, he knew better than to offend Xiao Yuanyan. He smiled and replied, “The post-production is almost done. It should be ready in about two months.”
Xiao Yuanyan chuckled lightly. “That’s good. Just make sure there are no hiccups. It would be a waste of everyone’s efforts if it couldn’t be aired.”
His words seemed casual, but everyone present felt a sense of unease. They suddenly realized that something was amiss today.
Even Chen Shan was stunned, pondering where he had offended the young master.
But Mu Ziming, sitting on the side, seemed to sense something. He glanced at Xie Fuyi standing by the door.
Sure enough, as Xie Fuyi prepared to leave, he paused. Then, he turned around and walked back, intending to find a seat at the side.
Xiao Yuanyan locked eyes with Xie Fuyi and tapped the table next to him. With a low voice, he said, “Sit here.”
Everyone was shocked, following his gaze and realizing that his eyes had been fixed on Xie Fuyi all along.
Xie Fuyi hesitated for a moment. He knew that the other was threatening him. He could ignore his own role, but this drama was the result of everyone’s hard work.
In front of so many people, he eventually walked past expressionless.
Xiao Yuanyan finally smiled satisfactorily, and the stagnant air seemed to flow again.
The crowd breathed a sigh of relief, finally understanding the reason for Xiao Dashao’s bad mood.
