Chapter 84
Kasro originally intended to fully mark the other, but unfortunately, the dominant alpha pheromones lingering in Xie Fuyi’s body were too strong and overpowering. Kasro could only grit his teeth and indulge in his desires.
…
Meanwhile, the two men who had taken the money and were preparing to leave Trash Planet happened to run into Ye Baixiao, who was searching everywhere for Xie Fuyi. He directly beat them up, forcing them to reveal Xie Fuyi’s whereabouts.
At this critical moment, the two men had no choice but to tell the truth.
Upon hearing that Xie Fuyi had been auctioned off, Ye Baixiao felt a surge of anger and regret. He should have dealt with these two men from the beginning; otherwise, he wouldn’t have let Xie Fuyi fall into such a dangerous situation.
No longer showing mercy, he swiftly snapped the necks of the two men before rushing towards the auction venue.
The people at the auction couldn’t stop the enraged Ye Baixiao at all. He kicked away those who tried to block him, hardly stopping along the way. When he kicked open a private room, he suddenly caught a whiff of familiar pheromones, but the room was empty, with only a pool of blood on the floor.
Ye Baixiao’s expression changed. He grabbed one of the men by the collar and pulled him over roughly, demanding, “Where is the person in this room?”
The man, beaten black and blue, trembled as he replied, “Earlier, soldiers from the Gara Empire came here and took that person away. Our boss was injured, and he led the men to chase after them…”
“Is it really Lu Shiyi who’s come?”
“They took Xie Fuyi away. What could they possibly want?”
“It seems he also needs to rush back to the Garo Empire immediately.”
…
Xie Fuyi woke up groggily, finding himself back on the starship. He had been cleaned up and was now wearing fresh clothes.
However, after all the previous “activity,” he felt sore all over his body.
“Awake?” A gentle voice sounded by the bed, followed by a strong arm helping Xie Fuyi sit up.
Xie Fuyi turned his head to see Lu Shiyi sitting beside him, smiling gently.
He instantly broke free from the other’s grasp and drew back, looking at him warily. “How could it be you? What do you want?”
Lu Shiyi watched as the other evaded him, his movements freezing for a moment before his smile quickly returned, warming up once more. He spoke gently, “Fuyi, perhaps there’s a misunderstanding. I didn’t intentionally hide my gender from you. In fact, I’m a prince of the Garo Empire. Concealing my identity was necessary to investigate some matters.”
His expression was earnest and gentle as he reached out to grasp Xie Fuyi’s wrist.
Xie Fuyi slapped his hand away with a snap, his tone cold. “That’s not what I’m talking about. I clearly saw you with that villain planning to kill Ye Baixiao!”
Lu Shiyi lowered his gaze to his reddened hand, realizing that, because of Ye Baixiao, the other now avoided him like a snake. His dark eyes chilled slightly, and the desire to kill Ye Baixiao grew stronger within him.
But as he raised his eyes again, they softened back into the gentle expression from before. “Fuyi, there’s a reason why I dealt with Ye Baixiao. I’ve found evidence proving his collusion with the rebels from the Northern Wasteland Star. That’s why I acted against him. He’s treacherous, and he’s the one who caused you to be sold into that place. Fortunately, I arrived in time to get you out.”
…In truth, he was too late. When he saw Kasro pinning the unconscious beautiful omega beneath him, anger surged within him, and he shot Kasro directly.
Kasro was injured, and his men were nothing but a ragtag bunch.
The people he brought were well-trained, so they quickly boarded the starship with Xie Fuyi and departed.
“Am I so easily deceived?” Xie Fuyi said coldly, his pitch-black eyes still clear but filled with annoyance and wariness towards him.
Was he supposed to trust Ye Baixiao like this?
Lu Shiyi could hardly maintain the smile on his face. His expression gradually became more restrained, and his intense gaze seemed to carry a hint of pressure. “Actually, none of this matters. Fuyi, you don’t need to concern yourself with these matters. We’ll return to the Garo Empire immediately. Ye Baixiao has encountered some trouble, and I’ve just taken over the army…” He paused for a moment, his lips curling slightly. “Of course, there’s also his fiancé. I’ll take good care of him too.”
“So, Fuyi, go home and rest. I’ll come to get you as soon as I’ve sorted out the military affairs.”
“What do you mean?” Xie Fuyi was stunned. Wasn’t he Ye Baixiao’s fiancé?
Realizing the situation, he became angry and grabbed a pillow, throwing it at Lu Shiyi. “Get out! I have nothing to do with you!”
Lu Shiyi easily caught his hand and leaned forward, pressing him onto the bed.
He smiled faintly, but his eyes were dark. “Fuyi, you’ve been away for so long. Don’t you miss your family? I heard that Master Xie has been searching everywhere for his young master. If something were to happen…”
Xie Fuyi stared at him angrily, his eyes slightly red at the corners. “Are you threatening me?”
His clothes were slightly disheveled at this moment, and his red and black eyes were moist with a forced calmness, which made him particularly endearing.
Lu Shiyi leaned in, his breath involuntarily drawing closer. Xie Fuyi instinctively turned his head away, letting Lu Shiyi’s hot lips land on his cheek.
Lu Shiyi paused for a moment, his voice hoarse. “Fuyi, I just hope you can behave and not anger me by refusing me again. Otherwise, I can’t guarantee the safety of the Xie family. Trust me, I have the capability.”
Lu Shiyi knew that although Fuyi was willful and indulgent, he was inherently kind and wouldn’t allow any harm to come to his family.
Sure enough, Xie Fuyi stiffened, ceasing all movement.
Even as Lu Shiyi’s kisses trailed from his cheek to his earlobe, down his neck…
He remained still, lips tightly sealed.
…
Xie Fuyi lay back on the bed, his face flushed, tears glistening in his black eyes. He clenched his lips shut and closed his eyes — it was over, this world was beyond redemption, he should prepare to leave!
…
Xie Fuyi finally returned to the Xie family. Xie’s father breathed a sigh of relief at seeing him safe, while Xie’s mother was on the verge of tears.
Xie Fuyi was somewhat moved by their concern. However, after Lu Shiyi sent him back, his men kept the Xie family under guard, not allowing anyone to leave.
Meanwhile, Lu Shiyi, with the forces he had cultivated over the years and the addition of Ye Baixiao’s army, quickly eradicated dissidents and became the new king of the Garo Empire.
His first act was to marry Xie Fuyi as his queen.
Some who remained loyal to Ye Baixiao were displeased, especially considering Xie Fuyi was previously engaged to Ye Baixiao.
But Lu Shiyi was now the new king, and those who opposed him had been dealt with.
Soon, the wedding was scheduled for seven days later, as there was much preparation to be done. However, given Lu Shiyi’s eagerness, he might have preferred to marry the very next day!
Xie Fuyi: …He had already figured out a way to leave this world.
…
Seven days passed in the blink of an eye.
Xie Fuyi wore a platinum-colored gown, intricately embroidered with exquisite patterns on the collar, and a gem-studded belt accentuated his slender waist. He looked like a dazzling little prince.
Lu Shiyi stood tall, also in a platinum gown that highlighted his broad shoulders and narrow waist, his handsome and gentle face adorned with a smile that genuinely conveyed his happiness.
In contrast, Xie Fuyi’s expression remained devoid of emotion.
Lu Shiyi came over to hold his hand, planting a gentle kiss on the back of it, his smile deep. “My queen, today is our wedding day. Why aren’t you happy?”
Xie Fuyi gave him a cold glance but remained silent.
His demeanor made it clear to everyone that he was being forced into this marriage.
Lu Shiyi’s movements paused slightly, his gaze deep. He knew that as long as he held the Xie family in his hands, the other wouldn’t resist. Once they were married, someday, he would make Fuyi forget about Ye Baixiao.
The wedding proceeded smoothly until the last moment, when suddenly, there was a loud noise outside, shaking the ground.
Everyone’s expressions tensed. “What’s going on?”
Only Lu Shiyi anticipated what was happening, his eyes fixed on the door.
In front of everyone, a tall figure slowly appeared at the doorway.
Ye Baixiao’s face was stern, his body covered in blood. Standing there, he exuded a chilling pressure.
The people around were startled, whispering to each other—
“Isn’t that General Ye?”
“What general? Wasn’t he said to have colluded with the enemy, betrayed the empire, and died already?”
However, Ye Baixiao paid no attention to them. His gaze carefully swept over Xie Fuyi to confirm he was unharmed before turning to Lu Shiyi, his eyes as sharp as a sword. “Lu Shiyi, for your own selfish desires, you united with the Star Pirates to kill so many people. You’re cunning and selfish. Are you even worthy of marrying him?”
Instantly, all eyes turned to Lu Shiyi.
Lu Shiyi wasn’t particularly surprised by Ye Baixiao’s appearance. He just glanced at the bodies scattered outside with some regret. “You didn’t die, I knew you would come. I didn’t expect these people couldn’t stop you for even a moment.”
He paused, his lips curling. “However, I’ve prepared a special gift for you. I believe you’ll like it.”
Lu Shiyi was prepared. He clapped his hands, and countless tall soldiers emerged from the hidden corners of the hall, surrounding Ye Baixiao. These soldiers were specially trained, robust and pain-resistant, wearing custom-made helmets and clothing that completely blocked pheromone attacks.
“Just them?” Ye Baixiao sneered lightly. His sharp brows were ice-cold, and he effortlessly tossed tables and chairs, knocking down the people in front of him.
However, these people were not afraid of pain. Even with limbs broken, they continued to attack him. Ye Baixiao had to break their necks.
But there were too many of them, and more kept coming.
The surrounding people had already scattered in fear. Xie Fuyi, who had previously shown no expression, now displayed some concern as he looked at Ye Baixiao.
Lu Shiyi’s smile had long disappeared. “Are you so concerned about him?” His eyes darkened as he gripped Xie Fuyi’s wrist firmly. “Then let him die before you.”
Seeing Lu Shiyi grab a plasma gun and aim it at Ye Baixiao, Xie Fuyi, noticing that Ye Baixiao was not paying attention to this side amidst the attack, hurriedly stepped forward to shield him.
With a “bang,” Xie Fuyi’s white gown was soon dyed red with blood at his chest.
“Fuyi!”
This scene shocked both of them, almost shattering their courage!
After Ye Baixiao cleared the obstacles and caught the fallen Xie Fuyi, Lu Shiyi snapped out of it. His hands trembling, his eyes red and panicked, he shouted outside in a panic, “Someone, a doctor! Quickly, call a doctor!”
Seeing Xie Fuyi’s wound continuously bleeding, Ye Baixiao felt as if his heart had been hollowed out. With tearing pain, he clumsily tried to press down on Xie Fuyi’s wound, but countless blood gushed from his fingers. His hoarse voice suppressed fear and panic, trying to comfort, “Baby, don’t be afraid, you’ll be fine, you must be fine…”
But Xie Fuyi had already found the opportunity to deliver a fatal blow himself. In this doomed drama world, he didn’t want to stay any longer.
Just as he gazed dazedly into Ye Baixiao’s bloodshot eyes, he murmured involuntarily, “Don’t be sad… We should… still meet again.”…
…
That day marked the darkest day in the history of the Garo Empire’s royal family.
What was supposed to be a joyous occasion of the new king’s wedding turned into chaos, with the former imperial general crashing the event, resulting in the accidental death of the new queen. The former general, driven mad, unleashed a massacre that nearly wiped out the entire royal family of the Garo Empire.
