The members of the Arceus Salvation Party have been neutralized for now.

I’d like to uncover the whole mystery while I’m at it, but… it’s probably too early for that.

I just chased them down on a whim.
I didn’t make any preparations or anything.

For now, I’ll restrain the three who’ve been neutralized and take them to the guild. After that, I can leave the rest to the Guildmaster.

I could take them with me, but it’s going to be a bit of a hassle. If I had a carriage, this would be much easier.

The moment I chanted those words in my mind, the space near me began to distort.

Though, it wasn’t a very large distortion.
Roughly the size of my waist, I’d say.

And once the distortion settled, something appeared—something that definitely didn’t look like any kind of living creature.

To put it simply, it looked like a lump of metal.

Two black dots, possibly meant to be eyes, were marked on its gray metal body. It had no legs, but somehow, it seemed capable of moving on its own.

Its height came up to about my chest.

Truly, it resembled the ancient weapons you’d hear about in fairy tales.

Its cute appearance belied its incredible combat power.
In fact, there are many legends about this thing’s feats on the battlefield.

The awkward voice asked politely, and I responded with a wry smile.

The ancient weapon extended iron rods from its sides and skillfully began lifting the members one by one.

Could this really be the same ancient weapon from those stories…?
