Going to the bathroom and entering space. 

Jiang Ning opened the note with only one word written on it: danger. 

The handwriting was crooked, likely intentionally for disguise. 

It’s rare that Qiao Laosan actually warned them. 

“It’s not surprising, really,” Huo Yishen analyzed, “Qiao Laosan has the most contact with Feng Kunpeng, he’s the one who knows him the best.” 

The one surnamed Feng not only fears death but is also good at burning bridges, who would want to follow such a leader?

The banquet began at eight o’clock. Seeing that it was almost time, Huo Yishen patted Doudou’s head, “Go play, but don’t go too far.” 

Doudou didn’t want to leave, but the dog got excited, so they went to play together. 

The desperate survival battle had made the brothers of the base look at Huo Yishen with admiration, which made the major figures very uncomfortable. With this brat around, would the boss still need them in the future? 

Some of them had schemes in mind, exchanging glances with a beautifully dressed woman nearby. 

The woman understood, swaying her hips as she approached Huo Yishen. She reached out to touch him, but Huo Yishen had already sensed it and stepped back. 

“Brother Huo, I’m Xiaoman, let’s get to know each other, don’t be so nervous.” 

Her voice was seductive, and her soft body leaned in again.

This woman called Xiaoman had a graceful figure and she dressed differently from the other women, indicating that she wasn’t just serving ordinary tattooed men, but was well-connected. 

In the harsh world of the apocalypse, everyone had their own way of living, which was understandable, but when she became a tool in someone else’s hands and aimed at her and Huo Yishen, Jiang Ning couldn’t sit idly by. 

These scoundrels had little ability, but they were skilled at scheming and plotting. 

Jiang Ning didn’t hold back, grabbing the woman by the hair and dragging her over, then delivering a heavy slap. 

“Ah!” 

The woman screamed in pain, falling awkwardly to the ground, blood streaming from her nose and mouth. 

The instigating major figure stepped forward and hastily accused Jiang Ning, “Hey, what are you doing?” 

“So many men in the base can’t satisfy you?” Jiang Ning didn’t even spare him a glance, but coldly addressed the woman on the ground, “Why, can’t you seduce other men, and why compete with me for my man? 

Even doing it right in front of me, do you really think I’m dead? 

“Use your brain next time. He didn’t even want the woman sent by Brother Feng, why would he want trash like you? Get lost!”
