Jiang Ning was shaken to the point where she saw stars, but luckily the safety belts protected her; otherwise, she would have been tossed around like a rag doll. 

The escape pod was moving wildly, and just when her stomach acid was about to erupt, it finally got stuck. 

It was dark all around, with only a small view through the circular glass.

Huo Yishen must have anticipated this, otherwise, with a sister to care for, how could he have agreed to spend the rest of his life in a dept of cracks?

In just two minutes, the escape pod floated out of the sea, rolling, spinning, and jumping in the stormy waves… 

It flew up, drifting away like a piece of floating duckweed, completely at the mercy of fate. 

The light fluctuated, and Doudou felt dizzy from the shaking. “Brother, I want to throw up.” 

Jiang Ning unbuckled the double safety belts, reached out, and pulled the curtain of the hatch, and the escape pod fell into darkness. 

She asked Huo Yishen to manually modify the curtain.

 

Then, with everyone inside, the escape pod flashed into the space to avoid the disaster. 

She stuffed a plum into Doudou’s mouth. “Hold it, close your eyes and rest; you will be fine in a while.”

 

Plum candy helps with nausea, so everyone got one.

The sour and sweet taste of the plums stimulated their taste buds, and their scattered consciousness gradually soared. Doudou felt much more comfortable. 

Jiang Ning turned on the light. “Are any of you injured?”  

They each checked themselves. There were no external injuries, just dizziness and the feeling of being squeezed by the safety belts. 

Jiang Ning carefully checked on the dog. It was clearly frightened, its eyes dazed, but thanks to the trainer’s protection, it hadn’t gone into a full panic. 

It collapsed on the ground and stuck out its tongue. After resting for half an hour, it felt much better.

They stayed in the space for almost two hours before going out again. The escape pod floated up and down with the waves.

Her heart rate and blood pressure were a little high, probably because of anxiety and seasickness. 

Huo Yishen asked with concern, “I have melatonin; it might help you sleep better. Do you want to take it?” 

Doudou nodded, “Yes.” 

After feeding his sister the medicine, he touched her head and comforted her, “Seasickness is indeed uncomfortable, but you will get used to it. Don’t think too much, get a good sleep and rest, we will get through it.” 

Doudou closed her eyes obediently, but she didn’t let go of her brother’s hand. 

Half an hour later, she fell asleep. 

Jiang Ning put the escape pod into the space. 

It was so shaky that she even felt seasick. Since they were not in the best condition, Jiang Ning endured the nausea and went upstairs to rest. 

Huo Yishen carried his sister back to the room. In order to let her sleep more peacefully, he did not forget to light a calming incense. 

After a quick shower, he changed into pajamas and lay down on the bed to rest.

When the time was up, Huo Yishen wanted her to sleep more, so he first carried his sister into the escape pod, then came back to help Jiang Ning change clothes, and also carried her in and fastened her seat belt.
