Asking for help? 

That makes sense. 

All creatures have spirits, and whales are relatively more docile creatures in the ocean. There are many examples of them asking humans for help when encountering difficulties. 

For example, when they are entangled in fishing nets or ropes, or covered in barnacles to the point of unbearable pain. 

Lan Lan kept circling around the submarine and it’s emitting some mournful cries. 

Could it be that after all this time scratching its itch, it has developed feelings? 

This left Jiang Ning in a difficult position. 

With Lan Lan’s enormous size and its mutation, who would dare approach it easily? 

Not to mention pulling out the spear from its body—one would likely get swallowed whole, and it is not enough to fill the gap between its teeth. 

However, Lan Lan continued on hitting the submarined, and the force was getting stronger and stronger.

Jiang Ning planned quickly. The submarine’s fastest speed is 30 knots, and the normal speed of the blue whale is 20 kilometers per hour, and it can reach 50 kilometers per hour when sprinting.

The spear used was different from the one equipped on 2688. It wasn’t from the same type of submarine.

Before the apocalypse, a submarine typically had around 40 crew members. If they succeeded in killing Lan Lan, they wouldn’t have to worry about meat for several years.

The same question arises: Why did this group slaughter such a large whale? How many mouths do they have?
