The Beginning of Natural Disaster, I Won by Hoarding Tens of Billions of Supplies
The Beginning of Natural Disaster, I Won by Hoarding Tens of Billions of Supplies | Chapter 432: Sucked In Violently

Huo Yishen and Jiang Ning were completely unaware of what was happening on the enemy’s side. They quickly steadied themselves and worked together to stabilize the submarine.

“They have five submarines…”

Before Jiang Ning could finish speaking, she saw several black shadows emerging outside of 2688 and quickly forming a team in front.

One, two, three, four, five, six…

A total of six submarines.

No, they are not submarines.

They looked like hexagonal underwater vehicles, and they were much smaller in size compared to the 2688, but significantly faster.

Moreover, they were actually merging underwater.

Two of the vehicles started combining into one, resulting in a larger volume and increased weight.

Oh, this is not just a submarine but a detachable and reassembled underwater fortresses

She had to admit that these monsters were clever. Limited by their geography and facing rising sea levels, they knew they couldn’t expand their land and could only look out to the vast ocean.

Although they lacked the military sovereignty, it does not hinder their idea of building an underwater city.

Jiang Ning thought it was merely a concept, but she didn’t expect it had already become a reality.

The polygonal vehicle in front of them resembled underwater. It can be disassembled and assembled vertically and horizontally at will, which is giving off a Transformer vibe.

Although the size of a single vehicle is less than half of 2688, it is very powerful once assembled.

If there were enough of them, they could easily form a base.

Normally, they could operate separately, but when united, their size and weight were enough to withstand the changing weather at sea. In the face of a large storm, they could split apart quickly, and with their fast speed and familiarity with the sea, they could avoid most disasters.

The enemies excelled at using small forces to defeat larger ones, and they are the kind who seek wealth and honor in danger. They especially like to launch sneak attacks or invasions.

They were extremely confident, otherwise, they wouldn’t have charged in blindly.

But once they realized their mistake, they could correct it immediately.

And there it was—transformation!

Transform, transform, transform—six submarines combined and completed the merging on the seabed, with both their weight and firepower surging.

Having narrowly escaped death once before, Jiang Ning and Huo Yishen wouldn’t be foolish enough to engage in a direct confrontation before understanding the enemy’s combat capabilities.

As soon as the enemy merged, without a second thought, they pushed 2688 to full speed and fled.

2688 raced ahead, while the enemies were chasing closely behind.

If there is any disadvantage in their combine submarines, it was that they were large and slow, and the movement is not as agile as before.

On the vast seabed, a thrilling game of chase is being played.

The enemies were very determined. They chased from day to night and never showed any signs of giving up.

But Jiang Ning thought her ancestors fought bloody battles for 14 years, and they won with millet and rifles.

She has no reason to be afraid.

She also had great confidence in the newly launched 2688. It hadn’t yet encountered the devastating tsunamis caused by tectonic plate collisions, so not only was its nuclear power fuel abundant, but all its other components were also in optimal condition.

But the enemy’s submarines are different. They have been tossed in the sea for several years. Even if they are lucky, they must have endured countless storms, which have made them old and worn out.

So all they needed to do was wear them out!

And so, the chase continued from night to day again.

Jiang Ning took the time to look at her watch, her brows knitting together. “The weather seems off.”

Huo Yishen noticed it as well.

It was already ten o’clock in the morning, but the light on the seabed was getting dimmer and dimmer, and the speed and direction of the ocean current were also changing rapidly.

According to Liu Cheng’s more than ten years of experience at sea, a new storm may be coming soon.

Jiang Ning wanted to avoid the disaster, but the enemies were chasing them relentlessly. If they didn’t deal with them first, there would be endless trouble.

2688 continued to sail at full speed in the increasingly dangerous ocean current, and the enemies behind them were still following.

After running for an entire day and night, they were starting to show signs of fatigue, and their morale finally began to crumble.

Several times, they tried their best to catch up and hit 2688, but each time Huo Yishen and Jiang Ning narrowly avoided the impact.

This only made them even more frantic.

The submarine detected abnormal water currents, and alarms started flashing…

Huo Yishen’s face changed. “This isn’t good. It looks like there’s a whirlpool ahead.”

An underwater vortex?

Jiang Ning had heard from Liu Cheng that an underwater vortex is a spiral movement formed by the collision of two or more ocean currents and sea monsoons under the influence of the earth’s rotation.

The destructive power generated by the vortex can vary greatly in size.

The small ones are less than a meter, and the large ones can reach hundreds of meters. It is a magical existence similar to a black hole in the ocean.

Encountering such a disaster could have unimaginable consequences, like the treacherous waters of the Bermuda Triangle, where hundreds of planes and ships have mysteriously disappeared.

After the collision of the plates, the sea area becomes more dangerous due to different terrain.

As they sailed deeper, the ocean currents and weather grew increasingly complex.

A storm broke out above the sea and multiple ocean currents collided on the seabed. The whirlpool was expanding wildly…

The alarm sounded loudly, and Huo Yishen looked serious. “If we don’t avoid it soon, we’ll be sucked in.”

Doudou shouted anxiously from behind, “Brother and sister-in-law, they’re speeding up to hit us again.”

The enemy was panicking and losing their composure.

Jiang Ning was equally ruthless, gritting her teeth. “Charge forward!”

If one prospers, all prosper, and if one suffers, all suffer.

Huo Yishen believed in Jiang Ning and rushed toward the whirlpool resolutely!

The suction force of the seabed whirlpool was very strong. 2688 began to lose control, and the early warning was going off wildly…

Just as they were only a dozen meters away from the whirlpool, the enemies surged forward like mad man and were trying to hit them again, but the submarine suddenly vanished!

The enemies in the front cockpit were already exhausted, but they pushed their machine to full power once again, launching another reckless assault.

For the glory of the empire, let alone the storm at sea, even if they were to be shattered to pieces, these people must be captured and studied.

Once their secret was unlocked, the empire would regain hope.

They were about to hit 2688’s rear, when—suddenly—it disappeared, and the massive underwater vortex appeared before them like a ghostly abyss.

They knew there was a storm and that the underwater currents were complex, but with the 2688 blocking the way, the enemy hadn’t realized they were heading straight for an underwater whirlpool.

Now it suddenly appeared in front of them like a devil with sharp fangs, suddenly opening its bloody mouth and rushing over…

“Ahhh, Damn it!”

Curses and screams mixed together as they frantically tried to brake and avoid the whirlpool.

All six controllers activated at once, and their submarine braked suddenly, sending the panicked crew one after another.

More than 30 meters away from the underwater vortex, the submarine finally braked successfully, though at the cost of serious damage.

But the vortex’s pull was too strong, and the submarine continued to inch toward it.

Ignoring their injuries, the crew scrambled to their feet, trying to turn away…

But it was too late. The earlier collision had caused the submarine to overspeed, triggering a system-wide alert and locking down all controls. Unlocking it would take time.

Facing the increasingly close black hole, they hurriedly unlocked the device in an attempt to regain control.

However, a huge thing suddenly rushed out from behind and slammed into the combined submarine.

The submarine lost control and accelerated into the whirlpool on the seabed.

With the enemy’s terrified screams, the black diamond-shaped submarine was sucked in violently…

Please bear with me if I didn’t update right away 😅. I was either buried in work 💼… or buried in rereading the book 📖. (P.S. Most of the time I’m rereading it 🤭—so you know just how good the story is! 🌟)
