Once again, it was He Zhian’s voice and he was accompanied by several men. 

Jiang Ning didn’t respond. 

He Zhian continued to knock on the door, while the men beside him are saying something. 

“Captain He it seems like there’s no activity on the 18th floor. Could something have happened last night?” 

His voice sounded hoarse. He obviously catch a cold. 

If something really happened, that would be satisfying. 

He Zhian thought to himself, but maintained a righteous facade, “Don’t talk nonsense. Little Jiang and the others are young and healthy, how could anything happen to them? If something did happen, we should take care of them.”

But they were just clowns, and neither Jiang Ning nor Huo Yishen paid them any attention. 

After training the dog, Jiang Ning put on the thermoregulatory clothes first. 

She followed Huo Yishen advice and reduced the number of sweaters, but the dog’s mink coat was still necessary since it would take time for the weather to change. 
  

“What about you?” Huo Yishen asked, “Do you still want to practice sparring today?” 
 

“Yes.” Even the dog can persist. She has no reason to be lazy, even in this extreme cold.  

The anti slip mat was frozen stiff, so Huo Yishen deliberately laid down a layer of cloth. 

There was a charcoal stove in the living room, but compared to Jiang Ning’s, it was considered a low-end version and is still relatively cold. 

Jiang Ning took off her coat and began to spar with Huo Yishen.

“Coke didn’t care because he bullied the poop scooper!” 

Jiang Ning quickly separated the dog, “He didn’t bully me, he saved me.” 

The dog didn’t believe it, flipping its face without mercy. Huo Yishen was puzzled, “Does it have a grudge against me?” 

“No.” Jiang Ning explained quickly, “Coke just lacks a sense of security, and besides, dogs are protective of their owners.” 

Afraid that they would start fighting, she quickly hugged the dog and left. 

Back home, not only didn’t Coke apologize but also seemed angry, as if accusing her of favoritism. 

“Why would you think that?” Jiang Ning coaxed the irritable dog with some jerky, “You’re the one I care about the most. I’m training with the instructor because I want to become stronger to protect you.” 

“Hmph, you’re just lying to the dog!” 

Coke turned its head away proudly. 

Jiang Ning took off the temperature-regulating socks to prove her innocence. “Why don’t you try them on? They really make you slip.” 

With that, she tossed them at Coke’s face. 

Coke’s mouth twitched, “…” 

It might not be human, but it sure acted like one! 

Thankfully, it didn’t smell bad. 

Coke pounced on her and scratched her. 

Jiang Ning hugged it and rubbed its head. “Coke, you should be a responsible dog. How about apologizing to the trainer tomorrow? If he hadn’t helped just now, my head would have been cracked open, and you wouldn’t have a poop scooper anymore. You wouldn’t be able to eat the chicken, duck, fish, and meat I’ve stored in the space, and you’d have to keep wandering.” 

Apologize? No way! 

The dog refused, its face full of innocence, its paws resting on her shoulder. “Whimper… whimper…” 

No, this is its home; it doesn’t want to be a stray! 

Alright, teaching the dog to apologize is also part of the trainer’s job. 

Not wanting to ruin their harmonious relationship, Jiang Ning promptly passed the blame and assigned the challenging task to Huo Yishen.

After Xiao Bai finishes feeding, Jiang Ning continues to observe and finds no signs of it getting cold or trembling. It seems that rabbit fur really keeps them warm.

In other words, she can live in the space for 6 days.

Danger is everywhere, so she must continue saving up. She hopes to retire with her dog, Coke, in space during her lifetime.
