With just a thought, Chen Xing summoned the demon blade Thousand Edge into his hand.
The moment he held it, he could feel its remarkable toughness.
However, compared to Thousand Feathers and Abyss Inkstain, this weapon seemed rather ordinary.
It was strong—yes—but not exceptionally so.
Chen Xing curled his lips in disappointment. “This thing costs ninety thousand Sweetness Points?”
Thank goodness he hadn’t traded for it back in the Elf Dimension. That would’ve been a huge loss.
No doubt about it, Thousand Feathers was superior.
After all, it was the number one artifact of the Assassin Xing.
After glancing at it a few more times, Chen Xing stored the blade away.
He figured he’d just give it away later. It didn’t matter to whom—Yun Xinghai, Xue Bufu—whoever wanted it could have it.
Next up was testing out some skills.
“You can go out for now. Go wander around a bit. I’ll take you somewhere later when I have time.”
Chen Xing turned to the demon maid.
From beginning to end, he hadn’t even asked her name.
“Y-Yes, Master!”
Hearing that she was being dismissed, the demon maid was elated.
Finally, she could get away from this terrifying master.
Just being near him was nerve-racking!
Especially when he kept switching blades.
Every time he swapped one, her heart nearly leapt out of her chest.
After she left, Chen Xing reached out and touched the glowing halo above Little Zero’s head.
But to his surprise, it was visible but untouchable.
“Hmm… what are you doing…?”
Little Zero raised her little hand and grabbed the halo atop her head.
Strangely, she could touch it, but Chen Xing could not.
“Hey! That’s odd. Why can’t I touch it?”
Chen Xing was intrigued.
Little Zero, with both hands on her halo, tilted her head, equally puzzled.
“Hmm… I don’t know either.”
Suddenly!
Click—the halo shifted position.
“Hmm!?”
Little Zero quickly took the halo off and held it in front of her.
“Did… did I break it!?”
Chen Xing: ???
Wait a second… you can take that thing off?
Then Little Zero tried placing the halo back on her head.
Slowly, she released her hands.
The halo floated above her head as before.
Good as new.
“Hmm… I fixed it! Hehe~”
Little Zero grinned, flashing her tiny tiger tooth, beaming at Chen Xing.
Her expression screamed: Come on, praise me, praise me~
Chen Xing chuckled at her:
“As expected of you… haha.”
“Hehe~”
“Wanna test out your new skills, baby?”
“Yup~!”
Chen Xing had memorized the skill descriptions after reading them once, and he already knew which one he wanted to try first.
The most interesting one: Angel’s Heart.
A skill that could actively fuse and evolve bloodlines.
“By the way, why don’t you have wings?”
“Hmm… they’re too big, so I kept them hidden.”
“Let me see them.”
“Okay~”
Little Zero crawled out of Chen Xing’s arms, a bit shy, and gently pulled his hand.
“Let’s go outside. It’s too small in here.”
Chen Xing raised an eyebrow. Just how big were those wings?
Big enough that they couldn’t even fit in the house?
He let Little Zero lead him out to the enormous balcony of their home.
“Alright.”
Little Zero jogged a few steps ahead.
She turned around shyly, biting her lip gently.
Chen Xing chuckled:
“Go ahead.”
“Okay…”
“Wait a sec!”
Chen Xing stopped her.
“Hmm… what’s wrong?”
“Cough… let me put on sunglasses first.”
The spirit beings in this world always came with blinding light.
If this kept up, he’d go blind sooner or later.
So he casually grabbed a pair of sunglasses and put them on.
Only to be ruthlessly mocked by Little Zero:
“Pfft… you look so goofy in those sunglasses!”
Chen Xing didn’t mind. As long as Little Zero was smiling, who cared why she was laughing?
“Alright, I’m starting now?”
“Yeah!”
As soon as she finished speaking—
Whoosh!
Sure enough, Little Zero’s body burst into a brilliant silver light.
In the next instant, she started to float.
At first, there were no wings behind her, and her body curled slightly as she rose.
Then—like a blooming flower—her body suddenly unfolded.
Buzz!
A wave of powerful energy surged outward!
A gust of wind swept across the balcony, and in a flash, two massive pairs of wings unfurled from behind her.
No—three pairs.
Six-winged Seraph!
Folded, they were only about two meters wide.
But fully spread—they were absolutely awe-inspiring.
The enormous wings shimmered with a silvery glow.
An unexplainable pressure radiated constantly from them.
Powerful pressure engulfed the area for several kilometers.
No one felt it more than Chen Xing.
He hadn’t felt this in ages.
It was like standing before a divine being.
An urge to kneel surged within him.
Pure bloodline suppression.
The nearby demonfolk couldn’t even handle it—they dropped to their knees, trembling in fear.
Floating midair, Little Zero looked down at Chen Xing with gentle silver eyes.
“Hubby~”
That voice carried through the energy, clearly audible even several kilometers away.
This is a true angel.
The strongest bloodline across countless dimensions.
If gods existed, angels were their closest kin.
If gods didn’t exist—then angels were gods themselves.
In terms of pure bloodline, nothing could compete.
However, Little Zero’s combat power was still not stronger than Chen Xing’s.
After all, she wasn’t a true angel—she merely possessed the Heart of an Angel.
Chen Xing stood dumbfounded, gazing at Little Zero.
In his heart, he couldn’t help but wonder—after killing so many people, how could heaven grant him such a beautiful wife?
Like a divine being descended from the sky!
Her wings didn’t even flap—she simply floated effortlessly in the air.
Her long legs hung down naturally, softly pressed together—utterly mesmerizing.
“Hubby~ want me to take you flying~?”
Little Zero opened her arms in the air, leaning forward slightly, smiling brightly at Chen Xing.
To him, she truly looked like an angel sent from above—to save him.
He couldn’t help but step forward.
Seeing his dazed expression, Little Zero chuckled softly:
“What’s wrong? Don’t recognize me?”
Chen Xing snapped out of it and replied gently:
“You’re too beautiful.”
“Hmm…”
Little Zero’s hand paused slightly, then she blushed and smiled with lips pursed.
That compliment hit her like a sweet bomb.
Then, she grabbed Chen Xing and soared through the sky.
The speed astonished even Chen Xing!
Even at full power, he couldn’t hope to keep up.
Looks like from now on, escape duties were hers.
Before long, they arrived at a place they’d never been to.
Far from the Future Factory.
The two had never truly explored the Minghua Forbidden Zone before.
It was a vast forest.
Endless in every direction, filled with all kinds of spirit beasts.
But once Little Zero arrived, they all fled in terror.
The forest erupted with activity—birds and beasts scattering everywhere.
“Hmm… why are they all running away…”
Little Zero saw many cute little animals, but she couldn’t get near them.
She landed with Chen Xing in a clearing.
“Alright, let’s try the bloodline fusion first?”
“Okay… I’ll fuse with demon bloodline first?”
Chen Xing nodded, curious to see what a fusion of angel and demon would look like.
Little Zero retracted her wings and closed her eyes.
With a thought—
Buzz!
Boom!
An explosion of energy erupted around her.
Chen Xing was instantly blown away!
The surrounding trees bent under the force.
Leaves rustled wildly.
While airborne, Chen Xing looked down at Little Zero—and was stunned.
That was… a Dark Angel!
Black wings, a black halo.
Black hair, black eyes!
Her entire being radiated death—terrifying and overwhelming.
Her aura was even stronger than before.
But Chen Xing wasn’t afraid—in fact, he found it extremely pleasing.
[Good grief, her combat power shot up to four million!]
Chen Xing was shaken—four million power?
Now no one would ever dare bully her again…
As he landed, he rushed toward Little Zero.
“Little Zero?”
Her appearance worried him. Was something wrong?
“Hmm… hubby… I turned black! Hehe!”
Little Zero picked up a lock of her black hair, looking pleased.
Chen Xing let out a sigh of relief.
Looked like everything was fine—she just got stronger.
Still the same height—1.85 meters—but now with black hair and eyes.
And strangely enough, it didn’t feel odd at all—it felt intimate.
Except for the halo.
That thing still made her look… kind of dead.
“Hug~”
Little Zero jogged over and leapt into Chen Xing’s arms.
At 1.85 meters, she was only half a head shorter than him.
But that didn’t stop her from being clingy.
“Hehe… I don’t have to look up at you anymore!”
“My neck gets so sore from looking up at you every night!”
“Haha.”
Chen Xing laughed, patting her head:
“Here, let me massage it for you.”
He reached behind her neck.
“Ahh! That tickles!”
Little Zero shrank back instantly, giggling as she pushed him gently.
Bang!
Chen Xing felt a huge force slam into his chest!
Like getting hit by a giant iron ball—he was sent flying.
Little Zero: ???
“Hu… hubby…?”
