Hu Wen, Let Me Pinch Your Ear Chapter 40

Chapter 40: The Fox Spirit in the Cinema (2)

“Xiaomai, should we go check it out? I feel like something’s not right,” Peng Fei said, shivering slightly from fright.

I quickly pulled out my phone and sent a message to Wen Ye, You stinky fox, you better check your messages!

“Xi-Xiaomai! T-that… tail, is that a tail…?” Peng Fei tugged at my arm, pointing to the back row of seats.

There, on the back of a seat, swayed a furry, thick tail, gleaming a dark reddish-brown in the light.

My heart skipped a beat. This definitely wasn’t a sex toy because it looked so lifelike, much like Wen Ye’s tail!

“Peng Fei, call the police! Go outside and notify the cinema staff!” As I spoke, I took out my bracelet, preparing to defend myself.

I’d used this bracelet to knock Wen Ye down last time; this demon should be afraid of it too, right?

“Xiaomai, what are you doing?! Ahhh!” Peng Fei suddenly screamed.

The woman who had been hidden below the seats had stood up. She was a girl with a conservative style and fairly pretty features.

However, the way she smacked and licked her lips was incredibly seductive and alluring, which didn’t quite match her appearance.

As if sensing us, she abruptly turned her head, her oily green eyes gleaming like will-o’-the-wisps.

I covered Peng Fei’s mouth and pulled her head down, ducking into our seats.

Crap, does she know we’ve discovered her secret?!

Peng Fei’s breathing became rapid. I was so scared that goosebumps broke out all over my back. We really did encounter a demon!

And one that sucks men’s vital essence!

The cinema floor was carpeted, so you couldn’t hear footsteps unless you walked quickly.

I was worried about the woman suddenly attacking from behind, so I remained vigilant, my palms sweating profusely, planning to drag Peng Fei and rush out.

Just as I was hunching over and about to leave the row of seats, the woman slowly walked down from behind, meeting us head-on.

The stench of blood, the peculiar after-sex odor, and the musky smell that the perfume couldn’t mask were so overpowering that I felt nauseous.

Didn’t the man before smell the stench on the woman?!

I slightly held my breath, trying to appear as normal as possible. The woman glanced at us, a mocking smile on her lips.

I pulled Peng Fei back, creating some distance between us, avoiding eye contact, and pretending to be nonchalant.

If I can avoid a direct confrontation, I will. Staying alive is the priority.

Just as she was about to pass our row of seats, the woman suddenly turned back and said with a cold smile, “You saw everything just now, didn’t you?!”

I was about to say, ‘Saw what?’, but Peng Fei waved her hand and blurted out, “No! We didn’t see anything!”

I pinched Peng Fei hard. Wasn’t this just exposing ourselves, like ‘hiding silver three hundred taels here’?

She suddenly realized something was wrong and quickly covered her mouth, trembling all over.

The woman slowly walked over to us, and my alarms blared. I raised my bracelet threateningly, “Don’t come any closer! We didn’t see anything! We won’t tell anyone! Leave now! Otherwise, we’ll call the police!”

“Hehe… The last human who saw my true form had his brain sucked dry… Little girls, only the dead don’t speak, you know.”

As she spoke, her facial expression twitched, her eyes turned into slits, her mouth pursed in the middle, and a furry tail appeared faintly behind her.

It looked like… a fox?!

This was the same species as Wen Ye!

My mind went blank for a moment. A glint of light flashed in the woman’s eyes, and Peng Fei screamed in terror, “A-A fox spirit!”

As soon as she said that, the woman’s expression turned ruthless, her eyes like lightning. She nimbly circled around to the seats in front of us, leaping onto the back of a chair with both hands and feet, like a wild beast pouncing on its prey.

She was so fast that neither Peng Fei nor I could react!

This thing feared the thing in my hand, so she was using a feint!

The woman directly tackled Peng Fei, and I was dragged down along with Peng Fei, hitting the back of my head on the ground.

Luckily, there was a carpet, so it didn’t hurt.

“Ahhh! You pervert! You stinky fox spirit!” Peng Fei, pinned underneath, struggled blindly with her eyes closed, her fists hitting the woman’s face.

The woman, enraged, aimed at Peng Fei’s throat, ready to bite down.

In my anxiety, I grabbed the woman’s hair, preventing her from biting down. Peng Fei, in her fright, scratched, clawed, and bit her.

The three of us wrestled together, like a group of girls in a brawl.

The woman, driven mad, gathered strength in her hand and slapped Peng Fei’s face. Peng Fei’s head lolled to the side, and she passed out.

“Peng Fei!” I shouted in fear, rage surging through me.

Damn it, daring to bully my friend!

“You slutty fox! Bullying your grandma! Don’t you know your grandma is now a professional fox breeder! You really ran into bad luck! It’s already bad enough that there’s a cultivating fox bullying me at home! I won’t let a heretical, stinky fox bully me too!?”

I forcefully grabbed the woman’s hair, not knowing where the strength came from, and forcibly dragged her off Peng Fei.

The woman’s hands grabbed my wrists, and suddenly, long, sharp nails dug into my flesh, tearing bloody wounds.

“Damn!” I cursed in pain.

I let go of her hair, smeared the blood on my wrist, and pressed my palm, mixed with blood, onto the woman’s face.

“Ahhh!!” The woman’s face was burned, and there was the smell of roasted meat in the air. She covered her face and screamed like a banshee.

I, panting heavily, dragged Peng Fei, wanting to quickly escape the scene.

“Ahhh! I’m going to bite you to death, suck your blood! Eat your flesh!” The woman blocked our path, her face covered in scorched, blackish-red marks, looking like a ferocious demon ready to tear me apart.

I instinctively raised my hand to protect my head.

— Bang!

She was knocked away by the protective shield formed by the bracelet, crashing into the wall covered in soundproof foam.

I propped up Peng Fei, looked at the woman lying on the ground, panting roughly, and sneered, “I told you to leave, but you wouldn’t! You’re unlucky to have run into me today!”

“Hey! What are you doing! No fighting in the cinema!” A security guard came in from outside, shouting loudly.

He probably saw the surveillance footage and thought we were in a brawl.

“Madam, are you alright!” The security guard walked forward to ask about the woman’s condition.

“Hey, don’t mind her!” I yelled anxiously.

The woman suddenly leaped up, her eyes flashing with bloodthirsty light, revealing sharp fangs, and bit down on the security guard’s neck.

The security guard screamed in terror, gurgling blood from his mouth, his neck about to be bitten through.

I wanted to put Peng Fei down and save the security guard, but I was afraid the woman would use the same trick again.

Just as I was at a loss, a voice came from outside, growing louder, “Hey, sir, you haven’t had your ticket checked! You can’t go in! The movie has already started, please go and buy a ticket!”

Wen Ye used his powers and instantly appeared in front of me. He frowned with a frosty expression, looking at me with a chilling gaze. I was so scared that my chest heaved. Was he angry?

Why was he angry!
