The villa is very large, with each of the six children of Sixth Master occupying one floor. The 7th floor is an entertainment room, and the details of the other floors are still unclear.
Wang Qiang and Li Xiaoming are responsible for understanding Sixth Master’s interpersonal relationships. Before they leave, Xu Yi calls them, “Be careful and stay alert.”
Yi Yu looks at the family portrait on the wall, which is spread throughout the entire hallway. Besides the six children, there are also people they don’t recognize in the pictures.
“Where do you think they will put Sixth Master’s body?” Xu Yi asks.
“It’s clearly suspected to be a homicide, yet they didn’t call for a forensic examination,” Yi Yu replies.
In the hallway, there are not only Xu Yi and Yi Yu, but also other participants.
Just as the two are about to leave to get the villa’s floor plan from the butler, someone calls out to them from behind.
“Hey, want to exchange information?” Xu Yi turns around, “What information? Why should we trust you?”
The person speaking is very confident, “I can perform an autopsy.”
“How coincidental, the person next to me can also do an autopsy,” Yi Yu responds. He can indeed perform an autopsy, but he hasn’t told Xu Yi that.
The person continues talking about various things, but Yi Yu, getting annoyed, shoots him a glare. “What exactly do you want to do?”
“I just see how well you two are analyzing things. Can I hitch a ride on your success?”
“My name is Li Da, I just want to survive until the end. I’ve been observing everyone, and you two seem the most reliable,” the person says, patting his chest in assurance.
Xu Yi gestures to Yi Yu, and after a silent exchange of glances, Li Da joins their group.
Along the way, Li Da talks more than Li Xiaoming, so Xu Yi lags behind, unable to keep up with Yi Yu’s pace.
“Do you know where Sixth Master’s body is?” Li Da asks, clearing his throat. “I don’t know.”
Yi Yu stops walking. He had descended from the top floors, but the 9th floor is unusually quiet.
There are seven rooms on the 9th floor, and Yi Yu was just about to unlock them when the butler suddenly calls out to him.
“Detective, you are not allowed to enter the rooms on this floor.”
“Why not?” Xu Yi asks, leaning by the window.
The butler hesitates before answering, “The rooms on the 9th floor contain relics from previous family heads. Only the current head of the family is allowed to enter.”
The 9th floor feels colder than the other floors, and the three have no choice but to leave, leaving the butler behind.
On the 1st floor, Sixth Master’s six children are gathered together. The most eye-catching is the youngest son, who is crying on someone else’s shoulder.
Li Xiaoming had already gathered information earlier, leaving Wang Qiang to continue asking. The atmosphere suddenly darkens.
“It might be a power outage. Xiao Hua, go take a look,” the butler says, but no one knows who he’s calling. The lights soon come back on.
“Xu Yi, Yi Yu, let’s go to an empty room and talk. There’s too many eyes here,” Li Xiaoming says.
Yi Yu pours Xu Yi a glass of water. “Drink some water, your lips are dry.”
Xu Yi doesn’t drink and instead signals for the still-frozen Li Xiaoming to speak.
“Sixth Master’s six children all have different mothers. Sixth Master had six wives,” Li Xiaoming starts.
“Among them, the eldest and second sons are in charge of the company, one as the CEO and the other as vice-president.”
“The third and fourth daughters are actresses, and the fifth daughter owns a flower shop. The youngest son just returned from abroad.”
“I asked them all individually, but they don’t seem to want to talk about the past.”
“Hey, do you guys want to go eat first?” Li Da calls from outside.
At the dinner table, everyone stares at each other. Li Da introduces himself again, and Wang Qiang returns with his food.
“Word has it that a servant saw the butler go into a room on the 9th floor and hasn’t come out since,” Wang Qiang says.
Clearly, everyone’s target is the same. Yi Yu, who is resting in a room, isn’t in a rush, but Xu Yi doesn’t understand.
“Why haven’t we gone yet?”

Wang Qiang, who had rolled off the bed, grabs the blanket. “How is this possible?”
“Yi Yu, what do you think?” he asks.
In the middle of the night, the five of them quietly go upstairs. The 9th floor is a mess, with picture frames on the walls covered in blood.
The stench of blood is strong, and the servants are mopping the floor.
“How can the butler not be scared? We’ve never had so many people die in this villa,” one servant remarks.
“Enough talking, just finish mopping and let’s go downstairs. You’re new here, you don’t know, but the 9th floor is heavy with negative energy.”
After waiting for half an hour, the five decide to check each room but find they are all locked with password locks.
“Why do we have to unlock this again? This is ridiculous,” Li Xiaoming exclaims, stomping on the floor.
“Hey, Li Da, which class were you in last world?”
The password lock is a disc, which seems to need to be turned to a specific pattern.
