Chapter 13: The President and the Massage Chair 13
Tang Bin hung up the call with Long Ke, and as he turned around, he saw President Shang also holding a phone, walking and talking on the call.
After coming back, President Shang had directly collapsed on the bed and fell asleep, not even changing his clothes, still wearing the same suit shirt from earlier.
Although the shirt was a little wrinkled, it still fit perfectly, hugging President Shang’s figure. At this moment, his shirt collar was half open, and two or three buttons were undone, revealing his subtle collarbones and chest muscles…
Tang Bin overheard President Shang coldly say, “Let’s discuss it when I get back to the office,” and promptly hung up the call.
Then, right after, he was greeted by President Shang’s warm and gentle gaze. “When did you wake up?”
“Just woke up,” Tang Bin replied, feeling a little embarrassed as he realized that he, a healthy person, had slept for so long just because of President Shang.
Wait, he’s sick!
Tang Bin quickly rushed over to check on President Shang’s condition. “President Shang, do you feel better?”
Because he was so concerned about President Shang’s health, in his panic, he carelessly placed his hand on President Shang’s forehead—
It didn’t seem hot anymore.
Tang Bin breathed a sigh of relief, but before he could pull his hand back, it was gently held by President Shang’s hand.
President Shang smiled at him and said, “It’s fine. My body’s good. As long as I rest, I’ll recover quickly.”
“Oh,” Tang Bin nodded.
“So, if you’re willing to stay and take care of me, I should get better soon,” President Shang continued.
Tang Bin responded eagerly, “Yes! I’ll stay and take care of you.”
Although President Shang no longer had a fever, his face still looked pale. Under these circumstances, how could Tang Bin feel at ease leaving… and besides, he still had to stay close to him!
The thought of this made Tang Bin muster up the courage to open his arms and throw himself onto President Shang, looking like he was giving him a bear hug.
“I’m not leaving, President Shang,” Tang Bin said.
President Shang was taken aback by the sudden surprise, but he was overjoyed and returned the hug, saying, “Okay.”
Tang Bin thought for a moment, then nervously looked up at him, hoping to observe President Shang’s reaction.
Then, carefully, he asked, “What if I keep sticking to you like this? Is that okay?”
—He wanted to stick to President Shang but was afraid that President Shang might not agree.
Constantly worrying about whether it was appropriate or whether it would make the other person uncomfortable was quite distressing, so Tang Bin couldn’t hold back and had to ask, wanting to know if President Shang would agree.
—
President Shang was practically stunned by this unexpected surprise. He never imagined that the shy young man would be so direct, basically confessing to him like this!
But perhaps, this was just one of Le Yang’s unique charms.
President Shang fought to control his excitement and held the young man even tighter in his arms. “Don’t just stick to me—stay with me forever.”
“Really, President Shang?” Tang Bin asked.
“Of course,” Shang Chengjun replied.
“Oh,” Tang Bin sighed in relief, thinking to himself that now he could rest easy.
Then, he heard the sound of President Shang’s stomach growling.
!!!
Suddenly, it hit him—he had eaten lunch, but President Shang hadn’t! Tang Bin, in his panic, had forgotten all about staying close to him. He quickly wriggled out of Shang Chengjun’s embrace and said anxiously, “President Shang, you’re hungry… What should we do? I—I’ll order takeout right now!”
Shang Chengjun was indeed hungry.
It wasn’t just because he hadn’t eaten lunch. His body needed a lot of energy for self-repair, far more than ordinary people could imagine.
“Ordering takeout might be too late,” Shang Chengjun said. “I’ll check what food we have at home.”
He headed for the kitchen, and Tang Bin, like a little tail, followed him.
As mentioned earlier, everything in the kitchen was exceptionally neat, almost as if it hadn’t been used much.
This was actually true. Shang Chengjun was so busy with work that when he came home, he just changed clothes and slept. A place like the kitchen, he rarely ever entered—he could go an entire year without stepping in.
So, there was almost no food, and Shang Chengjun found a few packets of instant noodles in the cupboard.
“Do you want instant noodles?” he asked Tang Bin.
“Sure,” Tang Bin said. “I used to eat instant noodles all the time. They’re pretty tasty. I prefer them cooked.”
Shang Chengjun smiled. “Then I’ll cook some noodles for you.”
“Okay.”
Tang Bin felt a little guilty about letting the sick person cook, but there was no other way. Back when he ate cooked noodles, it was always Long Ke who made them for him at home. Tang Bin only knew how to boil water, he knew what to do to cook instant noodles, but he had never actually done it himself, so he was afraid of making a mistake.
Shang Chengjun skillfully filled a pot with water, and while doing so, he said, “There are only five packets of noodles left, and that might not be enough for both of us. Do you want anything else? I can have someone bring it over.”
“Ah?” Tang Bin was confused.
Even he, with little common sense, knew that no matter how much they could eat, two men wouldn’t be able to finish five packets of noodles, right?
But since President Shang asked, he answered.
Coincidentally, he was also hungry, and when one’s stomach growls, deep cravings tend to come to the surface. Tang Bin swallowed and said, “I’d like to have ‘gugu chicken’…”
“Alright.” Shang Chengjun smiled, asking Tang Bin to pass him his phone. While adding noodles to the pot, he made a call and arranged for the order.
About an hour later, after President Shang had eaten most of the pot of instant noodles by himself, the doorbell rang.
Tang Bin ran out to receive the delivery and was stunned by the large number of bags of food the delivery guy was holding.
“Are you sure all of these are for us?” he asked, incredulously, thinking about how many chickens this must be…
The delivery guy nodded. “Yes, these are all yours. There’s so much, and some stores took a bit longer to prepare the food, but I rushed over as quickly as I could. Please leave a good review.”
As the delivery guy spoke, he couldn’t help but glance inside the house, as if wondering whether they were having a party. The neighborhood was quiet despite being in the city center, and many wealthy people lived there.
With so much food ordered, it had to be a party, right…?
Tang Bin promised the delivery guy a good review, then took the bags and closed the door.
“President Shang, you ordered too much…” he said.
“It’s fine,” Shang Chengjun replied. “I’ll help you eat.”
Tang Bin explained that the “gugu chicken” he wanted to eat was about ten kilometers away from President Shang’s place, which was outside the delivery range.
However, since the young man had requested it, Shang Chengjun was determined to make it happen. He had become familiar with ordering takeout recently and quickly thought of asking a delivery assistant for help.
Considering the quantity they needed, Shang Chengjun figured the restaurant wouldn’t be able to prepare everything in such a short time, so he asked the delivery guy to also visit nearby fried chicken places.
Even with all that, the two of them still managed to finish almost everything, leaving only a pile of bones.
After eating, Tang Bin, holding his slightly bloated stomach, thought he had eaten quite a lot.
To his surprise, President Shang could eat even more.
What a hidden talent…
After the meal, Shang Chengjun cleaned up the battlefield and then went to the kitchen to wash the pots and dishes.
Tang Bin, sticking to his principle of staying close, kept moving around President Shang, turning left and right, not wanting to leave even though he couldn’t really help.
“Be good, go watch some TV. I’ll be done cleaning up quickly,” Shang Chengjun said with a smile, trying to coax him.
Tang Bin thought that he might be in the way, so he took a few steps back, then a few more.
The kitchen was open-plan, with a small bar and wine cabinet separating it from the living room. There was no door.
When Tang Bin had retreated as far as he could, he had no choice but to hide half his body behind the wine cabinet, quietly watching Shang Chengjun’s movements.
When Shang Chengjun finished and turned around, he saw the slim young man sneakily hiding behind the cabinet, peeking at him.
He looked like a raccoon, hiding his body but leaving a large tail exposed.
Shang Chengjun didn’t know how he had come up with that analogy.
But at this moment, his heart seemed to be struck by something, and it beat loudly in his chest, echoing like the sound of a bugle, urging him to move forward and pull the young man, who was secretly watching him, into his arms.
The two of them didn’t know how long they had been hugging.
It wasn’t until Tang Bin let out an “Ah!” and suddenly remembered that President Shang was still a patient that he snapped out of it.
“Don’t worry, I’m fine now,” Shang Chengjun said in his usual tone.
“Can someone get better this quickly after being sick?”
“Normally, no, but my body is a bit special,” Shang Chengjun replied. “Of course, if you stay with me for a nap later, I should be completely fine.”
“Oh.” Tang Bin didn’t really understand all of this, so he accepted it without hesitation, nodding in agreement. “Alright.”
But he had indeed eaten too much earlier, and now he still felt a little full, so it was too early to sleep.
After thinking for a moment, Tang Bin decided to settle down by the dining table and take out his laptop to do some work.
He had taken the afternoon off, and although there wasn’t much work left, it wasn’t enough to delay progress, but he still wanted to finish it as soon as possible.
He told Shang Chengjun, “I’ll get some work done first. If you need to sleep, just call me.”
—
Shang Chengjun’s face darkened again after seeing what Tang Bin was about to do. His expression looked worse than when he was sick, almost like he was about to devour someone.
—He had just been bullied by people at the company this morning, and now here he was, working! How could someone so easy to bully still be thinking about work?
With his abilities, Le Yang could easily work at any company in the same field, so why was he hanging on to this one? It was just a small, new company! If it weren’t for the Yu family’s involvement in this project, he wouldn’t even consider this company.
Shang Chengjun had no doubt that with Le Yang’s talent, there would be no shortage of companies looking to recruit him.
He knew Le Yang was serious about whatever he did, as could be seen from the focused look in his eyes.
But loving work and being loyal to a company that doesn’t value or appreciate you were two completely different things.
Or could it be… that for Le Yang, it wasn’t about the company, but about the people in it?
As soon as this thought crossed his mind, Shang Chengjun’s eyes seemed to fill with blood, and he tried to suppress the rising acidity in his chest. “Le Yang is so passionate about his work… Mr. Yu must be really lucky.”
Tang Bin heard his words but didn’t sense anything unusual in President Shang’s tone. While busy focusing on connecting the cables, he shook his head and said, “I’m not passionate about work. I just want to finish your project as soon as possible, President Shang.”
“My project?”
“Yeah… it’s the project for Ruida,” Tang Bin replied honestly.
“How so?” Shang Chengjun’s voice became even stranger.
“Well… um… I think…”
Tang Bin hesitated. Then he suddenly realized he had just received Shang Chengjun’s promise that he could stick around him all the time.
But this work had reached a critical point, and if he quit now, President Shang might suffer a loss…
Besides, being new to this, he didn’t want to develop the habit of quitting halfway through something.
As Tang Bin thought about these things, he couldn’t focus on anything else. He was still bent over, connecting cables, looking as if he had frozen in that position. He looked a little dazed and adorable, making people want to reach out and touch him.
Shang Chengjun couldn’t resist walking over, wrapping his arms around the young man’s slim waist and asking, “What is it?”
He lifted the bent-over figure with both hands, his voice deep yet pleasant, “What are you thinking?”
“I was thinking, if I finish the work earlier, I’ll be able to see you sooner.” Tang Bin, snapped back to reality by President Shang’s actions, didn’t lie and could only answer him honestly.
“So… you’re doing all this for me?” Shang Chengjun’s voice sounded almost crazed.
“Mm… that’s indeed the case,” Tang Bin admitted without denying it.
He seemed to feel a bit more confident now. Under President Shang’s intense gaze, which made his face blush, Tang Bin recalled the strategy Brother Long had taught him earlier—
First, seize any opportunity to stick close to President Shang, cling tightly!
Second, be proactive, and do what’s needed.
So, Tang Bin turned into Shang Chengjun’s embrace, facing him directly.
He raised both hands and intertwined them behind Shang Chengjun’s neck. Due to the height difference, he had to stand on tiptoes to do this.
It looked like a cute, clingy little koala.
Shang Chengjun chuckled, once again charmed by his own imagination. He instinctively tightened his arms around the young man’s waist, wanting to support him. But just at this moment, a loud “smack” sounded, and the young man kissed his lips.
For a moment, his breath caught in his throat. He looked down in shock at the young man, who immediately buried his face again, struggling to pull his arms away. From Shang Chengjun’s angle, he could just make out the tips of the young man’s ears turning bright red.
Unable to resist, he reached up and gently touched one of those small, red ears.
It was warm to the touch.
The young man, like a frightened animal, instinctively lifted his gaze to meet his.
Once he looked up, he wouldn’t be able to look down again.
Shang Chengjun cupped Tang Bin’s face with both hands, saying mischievously, “This is how a kiss should be. Come, I’ll teach you.”
“Mm!”
And then Tang Bin found himself unable to breathe.
At first, it was just a little shortness of breath, but as soon as he realized he was kissing President Shang, Tang Bin became overwhelmed with excitement.
After all, he never expected that the day he had been planning for so long and thinking about so much would arrive so suddenly and unexpectedly!
Afterwards, it felt like his lips were about to be worn out.
And keeping his mouth open for so long was exhausting.
Then, his whole body felt like it was on fire, and that strange sensation from before came back. A certain part of his body unexpectedly underwent a change as well.
Tang Bin felt a wave of panic, unable to stop himself from struggling. Someone pinched the soft flesh of his backside, and President Shang’s deep voice sounded in his ear: “Don’t be afraid, I’ll help you.”
Throughout the entire night, President Shang kept whispering “Don’t be afraid, don’t be afraid” in his ear.
Strangely, with the gentle and pleasant tone in the other person’s voice, Tang Bin really wasn’t that scared anymore.
But this sensation was very similar to when getting a massage—he couldn’t quite describe whether it was uncomfortable or pleasurable. It was just much more intense than the feeling he had during a regular massage.
It was so stimulating.
Tang Bin spent the whole night in an intense experience, unable to stop struggling but also unwilling to stop. He didn’t know what President Shang had done to him, but under the extreme stimulation, Tang Bin, though not scared, couldn’t help but cry.
