Chapter 57
Wen Tang and Zhou Jingyu went to his suite.
They hadn’t seen each other for a month and a half due to their busy schedules.
Wen Tang wasn’t sure how their relationship had endured. Except for the initial phase of their romance, they were often apart, and her longest previous relationship lasted only three months.
But Zhou Jingyu had managed to break this pattern.
They had been together for nearly five months now. Curiously, her feelings for him had not faded with time; instead, they grew stronger daily.
Once inside the suite, they became entangled with each other, unable to wait to get to the bedroom.
After some time, Wen Tang, gasping for breath, looked up at Zhou Jingyu, her eyes misty from the intense kisses.
“Zhou Jingyu, did you put some sort of spell on me?” Wen Tang asked, leaning against him, her tone curious.
Zhou Jingyu met her gaze. He always appeared more rational and composed, though this was only a facade. Wen Tang knew how passionate and intense he had been in their embrace and kisses, as if he wanted to merge her into his very being.
“How so?” he asked slowly.
Wen Tang, serious and confused, asked, “Why have I missed you so much even though we haven’t seen each other for so long?”
Zhou Jingyu chuckled.
“Of course…” he leaned in, kissing her earlobe. The touch made her shiver with sensitivity.
Zhou Jingyu gently nibbled her ear and whispered, “…It’s because you love me.”
Wen Tang’s eyes widened in surprise at his sudden declaration.
Love him?
She… loved him?
The word “love” hadn’t crossed her mind before.
She only felt that she missed him, thought about him, and couldn’t live without him.
The thought of them potentially breaking up in the future made her incredibly sad.
Is this… what love is?
Reality didn’t give Wen Tang time to ponder further.
Zhou Jingyu’s kisses grew urgent and intense. His increasingly refined teasing methods soon overwhelmed Wen Tang, leaving her mind blank and consumed by euphoria. Afterward, he carried her to the bath.
When Wen Tang arrived at the hotel, it was already past 2 AM. After some more time, Zhou Jingyu finished bathing her, and it was already 4 AM.
Exhausted from a full day of filming, Wen Tang fell asleep as soon as she touched the bed.
Zhou Jingyu lay beside her, his large hands wrapped around her slender waist.
With only a bedside lamp on, he looked at her in the dim light, reluctant to fall asleep immediately.
The next morning, Zhou Jingyu had to continue the team-building activities. As he left, Wen Tang was still asleep. He left her a note, asking her to stay in the room until she woke up and join him for lunch.
The note was written on a card placed on the bedside table. Unlike his usual reserved demeanor, his handwriting was bold and stylish, giving a sense of free-spirited elegance.
Wen Tang’s sleep schedule was completely disrupted. She slept until 10:30 AM, and upon waking, she glanced at the note and couldn’t help but smile.
For some reason, everything related to Zhou Jingyu made her heart flutter, even just seeing a note from him.
After freshening up, Wen Tang sat on the sofa in the living room and played a couple of rounds of a game on her phone.
She rarely had time to play games now, usually fitting in just one or two rounds each day. Around noon, the door opened.
Wen Tang glanced up briefly and saw Zhou Jingyu had returned.
However, he came empty-handed.
Wen Tang had grown accustomed to him bringing food from the company, so she was surprised to see him without anything this time.
Looking at his empty hands, Wen Tang couldn’t help but ask, “Where’s the food?”
She hadn’t eaten breakfast and was already feeling hungry.
After asking, she quickly turned back to her phone, engaged in an intense moment in the game where she was about to be defeated.
Zhou Jingyu came over and sat beside her. “I’ve ordered food from the hotel. It will be delivered soon.”
Wen Tang responded with a casual “Oh” and continued to play, thoroughly enjoying the game. Zhou Jingyu waited patiently. After about ten minutes, Wen Tang finished her game.
As soon as the game ended on Wen Tang’s phone, Zhou Jingyu suddenly snatched it away.
Wen Tang exclaimed, “Hey!” And before she could react, Zhou Jingyu tossed the phone onto the table and promptly pressed her down on the sofa, kissing her.
…..
The service staff pushed the food cart to the door and knocked. Inside, someone vaguely said, “Wait a moment.”
The wait lasted five minutes before the guest finally appeared.
The staff pushed the cart into the suite, arranged the food, and then exited.
Hiding in the room with a flushed face, Wen Tang was reluctant to leave even after the staff had gone. No man had ever made her feel this shy before! She recalled the last time in the RV and felt similarly…
As she was thinking, she looked up to see Zhou Jingyu opening the door and appearing in the doorway.
“You’re too much, Zhou Jingyu!” Wen Tang said, fuming, and marched over to him, giving him a few playful punches.
Zhou Jingyu responded by holding her waist.
Wen Tang, who often craved Zhou Jingyu’s embrace, found herself…
Cheated!
Bad guy!
“Go wash your hands quickly!”
Wen Tang huffed, pushed him away, and stormed towards the dining area.
After lunch, the two of them spent some more time in the suite. Shengling Group’s team-building activities were completed in the morning, and from the afternoon, everyone had free time. They would return to Lingcheng City the next afternoon.
Zhou Jingyu had time until noon the next day. However, Wen Tang wasn’t as free. She still had filming to do and had to leave by 4 PM.
“I’ll give you a ride,” Zhou Jingyu said, picking up his phone and room card at 4 PM.
Wen Tang had initially thought she didn’t need Zhou Jingyu to accompany her and would be safer on her own. But when her boyfriend offered to escort her, she quickly changed her mind.
During the day, it was better not to use the main entrance. Instead, they drove into the underground parking garage.
With everyone out enjoying themselves in the afternoon, the hallway was deserted.
They walked to the elevator.
After waiting for a while, the elevator arrived. When the doors opened, they entered, and there was another girl inside, looking at her phone with her head down.
Wen Tang’s car was parked on level B2.
The elevator stopped at B2.
Zhou Jingyu held Wen Tang’s hand as they exited. The girl, who had been engrossed in her phone, noticed the elevator had passed the first floor and looked around, realizing she was on the wrong floor.
As she looked around, her gaze suddenly fixed on the man walking ahead, holding a woman’s hand. He looked familiar.
…..
Wen Tang’s car was not far from the elevator. The driver saw Wen Tang and turned on the car’s flashers, sticking his head out of the car and waving to her.
It didn’t take long for Wen Tang and Zhou Jingyu to reach the car.
The rear door had already been opened by the driver.
Standing by the door, Wen Tang felt a bit reluctant. She looked up at Zhou Jingyu and said, “I’m leaving now.”
Zhou Jingyu nodded slightly. “Mm.”
He instructed her, “Call me when you’re done tonight, and I’ll come pick you up.”
Wen Tang replied, “Okay.”
As she was about to enter the car, she suddenly heard Zhou Jingyu call her name.
“Wen Tang.”
Thinking Zhou Jingyu had something else to say, Wen Tang stopped and was about to turn around when Zhou Jingyu kissed her suddenly.
The kiss was quick, and Wen Tang barely had time to react.
“Go ahead.”
This time, Zhou Jingyu truly let her go.
Back in the car, Ke Xin, who had witnessed the whole thing, was excitedly covering her mouth, her eyes wide with disbelief.
“Can someone tell me what I just saw?”
Was this something she got to see without spending any money?!!
As a fan of the neighborhood CP, Ke Xin was overwhelmed by the excitement!
