Chapter 15
Chapter 15: You forcibly took off my clothes, then
My head hurt.
Not only did it hurt, it was buzzing.
Waking up from a hangover, Sang Nian lay in bed, like a salted fish that had lost its dreams and was about to be braised.
The system had a string of unread messages.
She couldn’t stand those flashing red dots, so she clicked through them one by one.
[Xie Chenzhou’s favorability +100]
[Xie Chenzhou’s favorability +300]
[Xie Chenzhou’s favorability +1000]
“…”
Sang Nian counted the zeros repeatedly, confirming over and over again that the symbol was an increase, not a decrease, and couldn’t believe it:
“Is Xie Chenzhou’s brain broken?”
Or did she do something big last night after getting drunk?
The more she thought about it, the more uneasy she felt. She shook Liu Liu, who was also drunk, awake:
“What did I do yesterday?”
Liu Liu shook its head dizzily: “Liu Liu didn’t steal your drinks, really.”
Sang Nian sighed, put it on the side of the bed, and got out of bed.
Chun’er rushed in, “Thank heavens, you’re finally awake.”
Sang Nian rubbed her temples, “How long have I been asleep?”
“A whole day and night,” Chun’er said, “The City Lord was worried sick. Thankfully, the doctor said you’re fine.”
Sang Nian felt embarrassed, “How is Chu Yao? She was drunk too.”
Chun’er said, “Miss Chu Yao is a disciple of the Immortal Sect, her physique is naturally different from yours. She woke up after being drunk for a couple of hours.”
Sang Nian hesitated for a moment, but still asked, “Where’s Xie Chenzhou?”
Chun’er twitched her lips, “After you got drunk, you wouldn’t leave his room. You insisted it was your room, and wouldn’t listen to anyone. When you were pushed too far, you hugged him and cried.”
Sang Nian: “…”
Oh no, I made a fool of myself.
She wailed, “What happened after that? How did I get back?”
“Who said you came back?”
“…I’m still in his room?”
“Yeah.”
“Then where did he sleep last night?”
Chun’er pointed to the floor.
Sang Nian felt her vision go black, “The City Lord’s Mansion is so big, couldn’t they find a room for him? Why did they make him sleep on the floor?”
Chun’er said, “They could find one, but you wouldn’t let him.”
Sang Nian: “?”
Chun’er: “As soon as he left, you cried, everyone was helpless, so they had to let him stay to take care of you.”
Sang Nian’s heart finally sank.
She was afraid that Xie Chenzhou would come back now, so she grabbed Liu Liu and ran.
As soon as she opened the door, Xie Chenzhou was standing outside.
She froze for two seconds, then silently closed the door.
Open it again, then close it again.
Xie Chenzhou remained standing there.
Sang Nian finally accepted reality, and gave a forced laugh:
“What a coincidence.”
“Not a coincidence, this is my room,” he said.
“Hahaha, you’re right, this is your room. I’m disturbing you, I’ll leave now.” As she said that, she immediately prepared to leave.
Xie Chenzhou asked, “Where are you going?”
Sang Nian: “I… I’m going to find Chu Yao and the others.”
Xie Chenzhou nodded and stepped aside to let her pass.
Sang Nian took two steps, but couldn’t help but turn back: “That… last night… did I do anything to you?”
Xie Chenzhou had a strange expression.
She nervously nodded, “It shouldn’t be anything bad, right?”
“You want to know if you harassed me?” he said.
Sang Nian nervously nodded.
Xie Chenzhou: “You forcibly took off my clothes.”
Sang Nian: “!!!”
She was choked, then she heard him continue in a flat tone:
“Then you used it to wipe your nose.”
Sang Nian: “.”
Sang Nian: “Goodbye.”
She ran out of the Stringed Melody Pavilion with the speed of a hundred-meter dash, her face full of despair.
If she could, she never wanted to see Xie Chenzhou again in her life.
Forcibly taking off someone’s clothes to blow one’s nose, well, what can you say, it was typical of her, wasn’t it?
Sang Nian looked up at the sky, her eyes filled with three parts melancholy, five parts sorrow, and eight parts regret.
Alcohol really wasn’t a good thing. She would never drink again in her life! If she did, she’d be a dog!
Suddenly, someone asked beside her:
“You’re awake? Let’s have a couple of drinks again today?”
Sang Nian: “Okay, okay.”
Wait, she sensed something wrong, and looked in the direction of the voice.
On the stone path a few steps away, Chu Yao, full of energy, and Su Xueyin, looking listless, sheathed their swords.
Their foreheads and noses were covered with a thin layer of sweat, glistening under the morning sun.
Chu Yao raised her hand in greeting: “Good morning.”
Sang Nian walked over to them: “Did you go practice swordsmanship?”
“Yeah, yeah.” Su Xueyin perked up and asked, “Are you feeling better? Does your head still hurt?”
Sang Nian said, “I’m fine now, thanks for your concern. How’s Chu Yao?”
“Don’t even mention it,” Su Xueyin sighed deeply, “I was almost exhausted by her yesterday. If I hadn’t stopped her, you would have demolished this City Lord’s Mansion.”
Then, she said with relief:
“It’s a good thing I entrusted you to Mr. Xie, otherwise I would have been exhausted to death.”
Sang Nian’s heart stirred.
The book said that Xie Chenzhou was Su Xueyin’s white moonlight. She was deeply attracted to him the first time she saw him, and had secretly admired him for half the book.
But…
Sang Nian carefully observed Su Xueyin.
When she mentioned Xie Chenzhou, her expression was calm and natural, definitely not like someone who had fallen in love with him at first sight.
Coupled with the protagonist group’s current bizarre personalities…
This book really had completely collapsed.
As it turned out, she was the only villainous female supporting character left struggling to maintain the plot.
Sang Nian couldn’t help but shed tears.
“By the way, we’re going back to the sect tomorrow,” Chu Yao suddenly said, “Do you want to go with us?”
“Me?” Sang Nian was surprised.
In the original book, Sang Yunling did go to the (Xiaoyao, sect) together.
But they invited Xie Chenzhou, as for Sang Yunling…
Sang Yunling, in a very clichéd way, fell for the elegant and gentle Wen Buyu, and she cried, made a fuss, and even threatened to hang herself if she couldn’t go with him.
The protagonist group had no choice but to take her along.
“I think you’re a pretty good person, you’re well-suited to be a disciple of our (Xiaoyao, sect).”
Chu Yao patted her shoulder, “Just in time, our sect’s once-every-thirty-year recruitment is coming up, you can try out.”
Sang Nian thought for a moment: “Can I bring someone with me?”
Chu Yao frowned: “The sect doesn’t allow servants.”
“It’s not a servant,” Sang Nian felt a little embarrassed, “I want to bring Xie Chenzhou, is that okay?”
Chu Yao: “You mean that little white-faced friend of yours?”
Su Xueyin shook her arm, “Senior Sister, don’t talk about people like that, it’s rude.”
Chu Yao crossed her arms: “But his face really is white, whiter than mine.”
Su Xueyin put her hand on her forehead and said to Sang Nian:
“You can bring Mr. Xie along, but we can’t guarantee that he’ll pass the selection. Our (Xiaoyao, sect) is the number one sect in the cultivation world, the conditions for selecting disciples are very strict and have a very high standard.”
Sang Nian wondered, “Aren’t you worried about me failing the selection?”
Su Xueyin honestly said, “Your brother once donated two libraries to our sect.”
Sang Nian: “…”
No wonder the original character didn’t even have to participate in the selection and was able to smoothly enter the (Xiaoyao, sect) as an outer disciple.
It was just a little bit of human courtesy in the cultivation world.
