Meng Yunshu was stunned for a moment. He had forgotten about looking for the key. Who would have thought that the system would automatically open the store after getting the bracelet? Thinking about the meaning of the bracelet, his heart was filled with panic and astonishment. He looked at the man in front of him in panic, but found that there was inquiry in his eyes, and there was no trace of blame or fear.
“I, I…” Meng Yunshu was so anxious that he couldn’t say a complete sentence. He didn’t know how to explain the disappearance of the bracelet to Yu Jinhuai.
The bracelet disappeared from his hand. He couldn’t find any excuse. He nervously grasped the corner of his clothes with both hands, lowered his head in dejection, and cursed the system in his heart. At this moment, he wished that there had never been a plane store.
The two wolfhounds in the yard didn’t understand the owner’s family. When they saw the sparrows on the ground, they excitedly jumped on them to play.
Yu Jinhuai pinched his ears to confirm that he had indeed heard a sound he had never heard before. He looked around and couldn’t find the place where the sound came from. The sound seemed to come from his mind.
Key? Store?
Thinking of the sound that came after the bracelet disappeared, he suddenly realized.
He remained silent for a long time. Meng Yunshu pulled his sleeve with a pale face, tugged a few times, lowered his eyes and apologized: “I’m sorry.”
Feeling the movement of the sleeve being pulled, Yu Jinhuai followed the two fingers and looked at the pale Meng Yunshu. Seeing his emotions, Yu Jinhuai grabbed his fingers with his backhand and patted the back of his hand soothingly.
“I saw it last night.”
Meng Yunshu, whose hand he held, was stunned, and his mind slowly turned. What did he see?
Meng Yunshu looked up at him steadily, his eyes blank and puzzled, “You saw it?”
Yu Jinhuai nodded. Seeing his stupid look, he couldn’t help laughing in his heart, and said straightforwardly: “You disappeared for a quarter of an hour last night and then reappeared.”
As his voice fell, Meng Yunshu’s eyes widened. He was more scared by the sudden resurrection than the disappearance of the bracelet. The ancients believed in the existence of gods and ghosts. Would he be burned to death by fire like in TV? Or would he be poured with a basin of black dog blood and covered with yellow talismans and pushed into the river?
Seeing that his face was paler than before, Yu Jinhuai knew that he was scared, and his heart was complicated for a while. He watched his husband disappear, the bracelet disappear, and heard different voices, but he was not scared. Instead, Meng Yunshu scared himself.
Hearing his mumbling, Yu Jinhuai moved closer. He carefully listened, and couldn’t help laughing. His husband was really interesting. Where did he hear it from? It would be better for him to tell him clearly, otherwise, with his husband’s nature of guessing, he might scare himself to death.
“I heard that voice too.” Yu Jinhuai said, “It said key and a store.”
Hearing this, Meng Yunshu looked at him in surprise. His almond eyes were shining, his face full of confusion, and opened his mouth, “You heard it too?”
Yu Jinhuai nodded. He was actually afraid, but his fear was different from Meng Yunshu’s. When he returned to the bedroom from the toilet yesterday, he saw that the quilt in Meng Yunshu’s place had deflated. He thought Meng Yunshu had run away. He searched inside and outside but couldn’t find Meng Yunshu.
Helplessly, he could only go back to the kang, but a white light flashed after he got on the kang. His husband came back again. He closed his eyes without thinking and didn’t open his eyes until Meng Yunshu fell asleep. He was afraid that he would disappear again and didn’t sleep well at night.
Meng Yunshu licked his lips nervously and asked, “Aren’t you afraid?”
“No.” Yu Jinhuai said. He stared at Meng Yunshu deeply and said word by word, “You are my husband, I won’t be afraid.”
“Even if you are not a human.”
It sounded like a curse, but it made Meng Yunshu feel inexplicably at ease.
“I am a human.” Meng Yunshu retorted, and his eyes suddenly noticed his hand being held. The man was used to doing rough work. The callus on his palm rubbed the back of his hand, which made him feel itchy and helpless. He couldn’t help but feel hot on his face. He struggled a few times with red ears, and Yu Jinhuai let go.
Looking at Meng Yunshu’s hand that was taken back, his eyes showed disappointment. It was the first time he held his husband’s hand, and he didn’t touch it enough. Knowing that the two had known each other for less than a day, Yu Jinhuai didn’t expect Meng Yunshu to accept him immediately. Even though he knew Meng Yunshu’s secret, he knew what he wanted.
“Will you leave?” This is the question that Yu Jinhuai cares about most.
Meng Yunshu shook his head. Originally, his intention to leave was not deep, and now he would not leave.
With his guarantee, Yu Jinhuai was completely relieved.
“I’ll go get busy first.” Yu Jinhuai returned to his seat and started weaving bamboo. Meng Yunshu was eager to know what was going on in the store. After hesitating for a while, he entered the space in front of Yu Jinhuai.
Yu Jinhuai looked at the place where he disappeared. His mouth slightly raised, and his hands moved faster.
With the key, the plane store was successfully opened, and Meng Yunshu went directly into the store when he entered again.
He walked to the computer and turned on his computer skillfully. The screen was no longer the same as before. There were three icons on it, namely personal information, transaction column and plane world.
He clicked on personal information, and his information was listed on it.
Shopkeeper: Meng Yunshu;
Reputation: 0;
Vault: 10,000 Chinese currency;
10,000? Meng Yunshu touched the number on it, and when he was confused, two emails suddenly popped up on the computer which answered his doubts.
The ten thousand in the account was the money he had saved in modern times, and it was exactly this amount when converted into Chinese currency. Another email indicated that because the bracelet was passed down from Yu Jinhuai’s family, he could hear the system notification just now. When he reached level 36, he could give Yu Jinhuai the authority and take him into the store.
So that’s how it was, Meng Yunshu finally understood.
The transaction column was divided into three columns, namely buy, sell and warehouse. The plane world was the world where he would trade in the future.
According to the system’s instructions, he first accepted the novice gift package, clicked it and saw that there were 500 wheat seeds, three packs of instant noodles, and three bottles of milk.
He didn’t plan to buy goods today. First because his body was not well yet and he lacked energy, and second he needed to plan what to buy. With a purpose in mind, Meng Yunshu walked out of the store. He was now going to see the land behind.
From the back door of the store, be could go directly to the space behind. When he opened the door, he found that there were ten pieces of land with different colors from the land next to them. These ten pieces were black, and the rest were yellow. When he stood on them, the system prompted that the land over there was uncultivated, and the black land could be planted directly.
Not far from the land was a small pond, which was empty and had nothing in it.
He turned the space around and called up the system mall to browse the unit price of the items. After looking at the unit price, he realized that his Chinese currency could support him for a while, but he would need to trade with the system and sell goods in the store for money in the future, which was the long-term source of funds.
With land and seeds, Meng Yunshu planned to plant wheat first. Before that, he spent 100 coins to buy lotus root seeds and threw them into the pond, and spent 200 coins to buy ten crucian carp and duckweed and put them into the pond.
Just when he was about to turn the soil with a hoe, he ran out of energy and was forced to exit the space dizzy.
As soon as he went out, he fell on the chair and leaned against the back of the chair with a pale face. Yu Jinhuai, who had been reminded by the system, squatted beside him with the prepared honey water. He frowned slightly and put his hand on his forehead. When he realised that it was not hot, he helped him sit down and put the bowl close to his mouth.
“Drink a sip.”
Meng Yunshu’s cheeks turned pink, and he drank the bowl of honey water from his hand.
When Yu Jinhuai put the bowl in the kitchen and came out to meet his sparkling eyes, he felt his happiness. He seemed to be infected, and couldn’t help but raise his lips and approach him.
“We will have instant noodles at noon, they are delicious.” Meng Yunshu said excitedly. He took out instant noodles and milk with his mind, but he never thought that these things would fall from the space and hit the ground. Noticing Yu Jinhuai’s joking eyes, he scratched his clothes awkwardly, “It was unexpected. It’s my first time and I didn’t control it well.”
“Mm.” Yu Jinhuai came over to drive away Daqing and Dahei who wanted to get close to smell it, picked up the instant noodles and milk scattered on the ground. He had learned from his brother for a period of time and recognized the words on them. He took them in his hand and looked at them. He touched the wrapping paper that he had never seen before, and understood that this could not be seen by outsiders.
After discussing with Meng Yunshu, he found a large bowl and oil paper, poured the milk into the large bowl, and wrapped the instant noodles with oil paper and put them in the cupboard.
He thought the instant noodles would break into pieces when they fell from the air and hit the ground, but it was still a complete piece of noodles. Sure enough, the system’s products must be exquisite.
Fortunately, it is cold now, so the opened milk will not go bad if left like this. As for the instant noodles, they will be eaten at noon, so it is not a big deal to leave them like this.
Since Yu Jinhuai knew about the store, the distance between him and Meng Yunshu was instantly shortened.
He leaned on the chair and talked to Yu Jinhuai. Although he didn’t say much, Meng Yunshu was still willing to chat with him.
After a morning of conversation, he knew that Yu Jinhuai took the bamboo to make a bamboo shelf in the bedroom for him to put things. He also knew that Yu Jinhuai, who was fifteen years old, went to the battlefield eight years ago and the scar on his forehead was left from that time. He knew that he could read and that his brother was a scholar.
As for deeper topics, Yu Jinhuai didn’t say anything, and Meng Yunshu didn’t ask either. He knew that the topic was too heavy and he couldn’t mention it.
Meng Yunshu found a hole in his sleeve, thought for a moment, and suggested: “Your sleeve is torn, I will help you sew it.”
Surprised by his words, Yu Jinhuai was slightly shocked. Under his serious expression, he found the sewing basket that had not been used for a long time at home, took off his clothes and handed them to him. He put on relatively dirty clothes and sat down again to continue the work in his hands.
Although he was not as exquisite as a craftsman in bamboo weaving, it wasn’t rare to make simple household tools. While he was talking, he had already woven a bamboo basket. The bamboo was not thick and could not be used as an overall frame. He could only weave and wrap the bamboo strips around the wooden stick.
Yu Jinhuai rubbed his sore neck and watched Meng Yunshu next to him holding the needle and thread and sewing clothes for him stitch by stitch. He couldn’t help but sigh that the good years that his brother often talked about were probably like this.
On the other side, Yu Zhining, who was tired of playing with Sun Ming, sat in the yard of the Sun family home. He held the water given to him by Aunt Sun in his little hands and drank it in small sips.
Aunt Sun was worried that the new husband of the Yu family had no clothes to wear, so she made clothes for him first. She noticed that Yu Zhining’s hair was different today, and she knew it was combed by the new husband. She didn’t know what Jinhuai was planning and when they would get married.
Aunt Sun stopped making clothes and thought of asking. The Yu family had no elders, so there was no one to help them with major matters. She was on good terms with the Yu family, so asking one more question wouldn’t hurt.
“Ning’er, grandma will take you home.”
Yu Zhining put down the bowl and nodded obediently. It was getting late, and he was hungry.
The breakfast was made by his little uncle, and it was delicious. He wondered what his little uncle would cook for lunch?
